The Acropolis 2 in Wiltshire

Amazing place would visit every day

Was very disappointed with food. It all had to be reheated. Pizza poor, small chips cold and expensive and kebab needed reheated. Not had acropolis for a while and won't be having again. For 30 pounds it was a disgrace. Acropolis has gone down hill.

Apparently they have someone living in there attic.....

Delivery time was stupidly long I could’ve cooked a full roast for 6 people in the time it took to Bring me my food, and on top of that it was cooked incorrectly when I called up to tell them this they were in complete denial and was being very rude. Calling me an idiot I have attached photos.

Ordered at 6, arrived at 7:25 had to wait an hour and 25 minutes for food. Delivery lady was nice though and apologised for the wait but the wait time was still horrendous.

When I got my food home my order was all wrong. The guy was on the talking phone when I was placing my order so its he wasn't really listening to me. No hello, please, thank you either. It was almost like I caused a major inconvenience by walking in the shop. Will not be eating here again.

Greatly improved since I last ordered years ago, kebab tasted amazing and not greasy at all, super crispy and tasty fried chicken and the pizza was super tasty also. The only thing stopping me rating higher is the amount of kebab meat you get isn't much for the price and my partners 12 inch pizza looked smaller than a normal 12inch from other places but apart from that the quality and taste Is the best I've had in a while.

Helped Me with food when I had no money since I'm homeless, i try to help others too. 😁

Ordered this evening for the first time ever, The pizza we got was ok but the kebab was awful, and very sparse, hardly any meat at all. Also the garlic mayo was watery and tasted nothing like garlic mayo. The whole thing went to waste. Absolutely disgusting and cost £6.50! Definitely won’t ever be going back.

Only had a large donna & a Pepsi But it was really nice to be fair will use again & Again 😂

Dunno what all the bad reviews are about, delivered in the time they said and it's a very tasty kebab! Maybe be more generous with the sauce but other than that absolutely bang on!

If there was an option for zero i would do that. What an absolute waste of money, Ordred at about 9.15pm turned up at 10.35pm. The food was disgusting quality cold slop. Just dont bother.

Went in to the shop for a burger, looked around for the food hygiene rating but couldn't see one, no wonder it's not shown !!, old and dated equipment, grill looks like it hasn't been cleaned for years, I bet the fryers haven't been moved out since they were put there as the floor around them was black , 0 for cleanliness

Ordered at 22.40. Earliest delivery was an hour later. Couldn't cancel order 5 minutes after ordering otherwise would have cost me full amount. Joke.

I advise you not to order here I have been waiting for 2 hours and they still haven’t delivered worst place I have ever ordered from

I walked into the takeaway and asked for a chicken burger. The place wasn't busy. The lady took my money and didn't tell me until 10 mins later that they didn't have any chicken. She said someone was going out to buy some. Someone phoned in an order and she told them food would be an hour. Why take my money and say nothing? I walked out and didn't come back. Fish and chip shop round the corner serves food. I ate from there the day before.

If I wanted a frozen pizza i would've gone to Iceland!... This place has gone down hill recently

They get a lot of bad reviews but we've always been happy with the food and service. They once forgot a portion of chips and when we called, they couldn't do more to help. Will continue to use them over any others in town.

Placed a order online for home delivery for 7-30 and had an email confirmation. I called at 8-45 after delivery due time had long passed only to be told no order has come though and the guy on the end the phone laughing at me saying have i got the right place. No apology or offer to put things right. Shame.

Food was cold and had to wait 2. 5 hours for my delivery. All was offered was a small bottle of cola. 😠😠😠

10 wings and a wrap, over 1.5hrs! No apology, just we are busy. Pretty pointless waiting as wasn't very nice at all.

Had a 2 hour wait for food on 2 occasions now, so won't be going back. Awful service, pizza was burnt and the base was BLACK... Kebab looked like my dog had thrown it up, just chucked in the container and chips were greasy and limp, not even hot, woman on phone was very abrupt, ended up complaining through Just Eat and got a refund. Avoid!!

Nice food, can be a little slow on delivery but with it. Changed rating as they kept hanging up on me when I was calling about late delivery.

This place is vile. The lady on the phone is rude. So. I called for a delivery. But the card reader was broken. So I used just eat. Ordered large kebab cheesy chips and 3 cans of pop. 1 hour 15mind later it arrives. Cold and a can missining. Bearing in mind this was 15 pounds. I called. Told sorry they are busy. Unexceptable. So they said we will make another and send it straight out. 20 mins later it arrives. Poor delivery bloke. He was really nice. I gets the food. And it's rotten. Had to throw the kebab away. Avoid this place at all costs.

Acropolis special pizza is possibly the best on the planet hands down. 😁

If there was an option for 0 stars it would have been given. I waited over two hours for my order, which was then cancelled. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Spent £60 on cold , rubbery , flavourless dirty kerbab. Waited over two hours for delivery and we have so much left over cause it was horrible. Thanks

We've ordered twice here now the food was cold and took 2 hours to get here every time we rang they said it would be ten mins then still after 30 mins later it still was not here absoulte joke...........................

Second time of ordering! Second time of a 2hour wait for food!! Second time of cold food second time of no sorry or nothing!! All they offers was delivery charge taken off!! Ask for cheese and omg it’s not even worth it not even a handful of cheese in the middle of chips asked for no vinegar and I got vinegar meat was dry and grisly onion ring burnt and rubbery and that’s just tonight’s experience!! Time before burnt burger soggy bun cold and vile!! Never will order from there agen!! Very disappointed

4.50 for a sh*tty chicken wrap that has hardley any chicken in it.. the fudge cake is also not worth what you get awful absolute awful never eating here again 😡

Have been a regular customer of Acropolis-but will no more. This evening I placed my order and when it arrived the driver handed me a wrong order (these things happen) My order totalled £14 to which I gave the driver £24. When the driver drove away I noticed that he hadn’t given me my £10 change. After some time I contacted Acropolis by phone and explained the recent events. Well! The response I received was nothing more than rude and most certainly unhelpful. With a ‘well I must have dropped your change love’ attitude with an added ‘not much I can do about it’ when I asked about my reimbursement!. Needless to say I haven’t received my change. Stay away at all costs guys!....

Walked in, 2 staff having a domestic, ordered a donner. 20 mins wait. Cut straight from the pole, very crispy, been there too long. Hardly any salad. Would not recommend

Absolutely disgusting! What decent and reputable company would think it acceptable to send a stone cold doner and a chicken nuggets and chips that were moulded to the plastic container they came in???? Avoid at all costs!

Wont bother again. Had chicken and donner kebab with chips, chicken was bland and tasteless. Donner was no better. Hardly any salad on kebab and tiny cold portion of chips. Walked in and ordered and had to wait over half hour on a quiet monday evening . Not inpressed
