KFC Chippenham - Bath Road in Wiltshire

KFC missed something off our order.

delivery was over an hour late, food arrived cold and we did not get the signature fries.

food was under cooked and cold, delivery tim changed 3 times

2 meals missing with 2 sides missing. order must have been processed as we received the drinks for all 4 meals.

Stupidly long wait for delivery, delivery time just kept getting longer and longer. The poor courier was waiting well over 45 minutes at the restaurant and still our order was missing items. Whilst I appreciated busy times this has happened far too often, poorly managed restaurant that can’t handle the pressure. Only plus side is the food was warm.

I order for it to be 20-35 minutes like it says it will be. I’m then waiting over an hour for my food not even to be greeted with an apology because the guy doing the orders had about 500 in his car just so he can do them all at once. This is selfish and ruins the quality of this app. Put a cap on how many orders you can accept or do before delivering because I didn’t order my food for it to take over double the max expected delivery time and all the app did was push the estimated time back

please make sure all orders are checked properly before delivery. It’s annoying that part of the order is missing.

for some reason only half of my order arrived. and they forgot to put normal chicken in my bucket and just filled it up with hot wings. Chippenham KFC is incredibly bad

2 items weren’t delivered at all, equalling around £8/9. The bag was sealed meaning I couldn’t have checked it anyway. The order itself was cold and arrived pretty late compared to the estimates. When looking at the tracking of the delivery it seemed to go away from us for the first 20 minutes after picking up our delivery.

The order was obviously packed by two people as half was right and half was completely nothing that I ordered. So I now have nothing to eat as what they lacked was spicy. So thanks for that, NOT

Terrible driver who let himself into my home.

Every thing except my main meal came. Was my last bit on money and all I got was 2hot wings and a small portion of fries for 19£ shocking

They gave me still water instead of sparkling water

Freezing cold, delivery driver sat in KFC for the best part of 45 minutes! Time on bag was 1904 hrs, delivered at 2000hrs. Delivery time continuously changed. Amending this time to suit your delivery time. Drinks were subbed and no mayo on burgers.

Normally Chippenham's KFC isn't the best but I have zero complaints about this order. Food arrived hot and very tasty, which is normally a rare thing for this KFC

We didn’t receive our 2x corn on cobs. Was told 21:35 delivery and didn’t turn up until 22:05. Also arrived and was barely warm.

I went to this kfc on the 28th of October I went to the counter to order mine and my sons food and they told me to use self service I said I can’t because I have bad eyesight and can’t read properly and it was easier for me to tell them that I wanted the manager rolled her eyes and got another member of staff to serve me whilst I was being served the manager and the other members of staff were laughing out the back this is absolutely appalling behaviour I will not be returning to this restaurant to eat inside and I would hope something gets done about this as this is demoralising and I felt so uncomfortable very unprofessional

Missing items to order whichis the 2nd time now and no refunds given. Its always the items for the kids.

Food was cold. Did not receive free popcorn chicken. Gravy and corn should have been taken off sale an hour before.

Service by “Fiona” today couldn’t have been better (on her behalf) I had to send back my burger as some how chocolate ended up on the bottom of my bun? Fiona was very very apologetic and sorted the issue out immediately! When we first arrived, there looked to be a bit of flustering going on at the till so it seemed like we would be waiting a while! - we weren’t! And I personally think this was due to Fiona! I thank you again for the service! Only if the kitchen could perform as you did it would be a 5 star visit! Only other thing I could moan about is the lack of clean tables - due to how understaffed it looked I can quite understand and could almost gaurentee if it was that bad, Fiona would’ve happily helped us if we asked but we didn’t we just cracked on, so thanks again Fiona! Very good service today!

Usually always quick delivery and order correct unlike some other takeaways

This is the worst kfc I have ever been to. I only visit occasionally but more often than not it has either been shut or closing due to a problem of some sort. The drive thru is also nearly always coned off. Service is ten times better at Delta Park in Swindon - it's hard to believe they are the same company. They seem to have a serious problem with staffing at the Chippenham kfc.

Missing items and it’s not the first time I’ve had food missing. It’s not a big deal financially but it’s a huge inconvenience when I try to save time.

Went to this branch of KFC around 8.30 this evening with my family. We ordered at the machines and went to sit down. We were then told after paying and sitting down that we weren't allowed to eat in because 'theyd already cleaned up' . We queried this as all of their opening hours state 10. We said we should have been told this before we paid and had our food however staff were rude and told us we needed to leave because they 'didnt have enough staff to clean up later'. They also told us that HR say the public can't eat in after 9, meaning we were given three vastly different reasons for not being able to eat in. We were consistently met with rudeness and lack of understanding at every stage of this event. We asked to speak to the manager multiple times and were told they were on a call. We asked for the manager on shifts name so we could do something about this later and were ignored. Overall the staff at this branch made our experience awful and upsetting due to their rude behaviour and lack of customer service skills. We completely understand that sometimes restaurants clean up early or different aspects of the restaurant close at different times but this was out of order. There was no information about any different closing times than what is on Google. How can a customer be blamed for wanting to eat in when there is nothing saying differently.

Not my first time ordering from KFC, but this was thoroughly disappointing. The order delivery kept being pushed back and finally arrived over 40 mins after order. While I am generally forgiving of that, the food turned out to be lukewarm at best and overly salty. Would not be ordering the bucket meal again.

Ordered from Chippenham KFC at 9:01pm and didn't get my food until after 10pm!! Shocking restaurant as they didn't start prepping my food until 9:45. Chips weren't signature and were just plain. Does this store require staff?

The time was good this time and the food was hot this time.

Took nearly 2 hours for the food to arrive and the time kept moving. When it did eventually arrive the chips were cold and my daughter did have the correct order. I won’t waste my time next time, it’s quicker to just get in the car and get it yourself.

Overcooked, greasy, lack of utensils. More interest in the Uber Eats and drive thru. Place needs closing down

Difficult to rate really. Is it good for a KFC? Sure - it's fine, depends a bit on who's serving on the day, but its normally OK. Drive thru can take a long time.

I was very pleased when the driver turned up just after 15 minutes after I had ordered. I did have a bad experience last week but this was with Uber my order that time took 2 hours and I only like five minutes drive away from the restaurant but I don’t drive so in future I will order on just eat well done to all of you at kfc and just eat drivers thank you

Everytime I decide to give KFC Chippenham another chance when we order takeaway online, they seem to miss something off our order. Tonight was my burger. It happens too often. Also, why is the price higher when you order online, on top of paying the delivery fee. Its the most expensive takeaway, so it's not okay to get it wrong, so frequently.

We ordered a party bucket which has gone up for £25 to £39 with still the same amount of food. Normally there is a variety of chicken, this time was just small skinny drumsticks 14 of them not one wing or thigh at all. There is always a selection that's why we order it, two of our party doesn't eat drumsticks, my kids were so disappointed when they were really looking for to this treat, the quality was terrible, I complained and I was basically told tough and that was it. Absolute rip off!!

I miss the days of walking to the till and placing an order. The cost of food is also something I miss, £20 would have fed a family, now it barely feeds 2. Such a shame.

Got in the drive through at 9.55pm and sat there until gone 10pm. Nobody took my order and they shut at 10pm so figured they couldn't be bothered. Drove round and the collection window had the shutter half down and staff were inside chatting away. No wonder the reviews for this place are so bad.

Says it closes at 22.00 but at 21.30 their door is already closed to customers and no longer serving food!? Would be better to just be transparent and say they actually close at 21.30!!

Food was OK, but after a 45 MINUTE wait, I could've eaten a scabby horse!!! This wasn't an anomaly, I was surrounded by equally disheartened patrons who were all suffering the same waiting times. To add insult, when I was eventually able to collect my meal, I was told the chicken wings weren't ready and that I could opt for chicken pieces or wait another ten minutes. Serving staff were sat waiting for the chicken to come through and admirably took a lot of abuse from the customers, so fair play to them. But there's clearly an issue in the kitchens. UPDATE..... Forget the advertised closing times, they seem to close early most nights. One day they MIGHT get this fast food business right 😕
