The Palm Beach in City of London, Westminster

Went there for late drinks cause everything else was already closed but it's not your usual miserable casino bar. Place is buzzing and fun and had an Arab DJ at the time which made it even more fun!

Had dinner here with my girlfriend before going to the gambling tables. We were suspicious of how good a restaurant this would be as the menu was quite extensive. It was in fact very good, with the food being flavoursome and ingredients fresh. Although it wasn’t busy, there was still a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were very attentive.

Scottish salmon for starter and ribeye steak for main . Great service from staff.The salmon was not the greatest but main was exceptional.

#london how I luv you always; however #theloungebaratpalmbeach has suspect and questionable conduct about entry; The door person decided to look me up and down then stated membership only tonight. Which, I noticed didn't apply to everyone. Ummm...okay ...I have a video of crazy conduct thereafter however I choose not to post...so much wrong here!

Went spontaneously and it was Arabic night. Great music and lovely entertainment with the belly dancers.

Being a restaurant within a casino, wasn't too sure what to expect. But presently surprised, great choice of food & wine and was beautiful to taste.

I was really looking forward to a late night cat with a friend of mine. Sadly this venue was closed out of the advertised opening hours. I hope they rectify this before opening again postlockdown!

Visit the casino a few times a year with visitors from abroad and friends for dinner and occasional gambling. Love the atmosphere and where it is located. Seldom win but that goes with the script, I guess!

Never been here before had a flutter in the casino then some food for my nephews birthday. I have to say the food was really nice i had reservations about coming here but was pleasantly surprised the service was very good extremely good i would eat here again. Great atmosphere. My daughter had an asthma attack whilst there and management were very helpful and respectful.

Having visited the Palm Beach for many years with my Dad, its always been our go to stop for good food and cheeky gamble after. This year my dad decided to take myself my wife brother and sister and their partners for our annual "Harley" X-mas get togeather. It being X-mas getting a table on short notice proved difficult, even though the resteraunt was fully booked Michele Martino the rest manager went out of his way to secure us a table that worked for my family. From the moment we arrived Michele ensured that we were looked after, the serrice was outstanding all night, attentive with out being to much in your face. On the evening there was a very talented lounge singer covering classics as well as more current music, you can defintley tell the palm beach has turned it up a notch. The food was 5* from the duck, to the prawns, it was delicious, good portion size and not overly priced considering the amazing setting and service. Big well done to Michele and the team for getting it really right!. Cant wait to get back. Palm beach regular.

Very clean restaurant, with plenty of spaces between separate tables. Friendly waiters. Food was awesome. I had prawn tandoori, and although I ate tandoori chicken before, the tandoori prawns were simply delicious.

My 8 sisters and I went to eat here this past weekend and totally enjoyed the best hospitality from Michele and the team. It was fun, relaxing and elegant. They catered to all our requests and made us feel welcome. The food was AMAZING we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will be back soon! Great start to our Christmas festivities!

We wanted to try something different for our annual Christmas dinner and the Palm beach was the perfect location. Everything was great from start to finish....The food, drinks etc. The waiters were extremely attentive and helpful throughout the night (even agreeing to take hundreds of photos of us lol) Michele Martino was a great host, very warm and inviting. We would definitely be returning here again.

I had eaten here about 25 years ago and the food was delicious and I remember having a Spaghetti Carbonara which was prepared at the table which made it memorable - it was also delicious, which helped the happy memories even more! Over the years I thought of returning to dine here but never got round to it until now - but I am so glad I did. The restaurant is situated apart from the casino so you can hear some of the action and excitement but you are also secluded enough to be able to enjoy your meal and the ambience. The actual setting is very classy and welcoming and so you arrive at a beautifully presented restaurant which is inviting and very comfortable. As Christmas is nearly upon us the restaurant had approximately five Christmas trees neatly arranged at one end as well as nice lights set up which helped create a nice festive atmosphere. We were seated by our waiter and then shortly after a complimentary glass of prosecco was brought to us and then some wet towels. A nice touch and a sign of class. Then a waiter came round with a bread basket and offered us some bread which again was a nice touch. There were three choices and they all looked good but I have to say that the onion bread with butter was absolutely delicious and we had to stop ourselves from eating too much of it otherwise there would have been no point ordering any food because we would be full already! The menu is rather unique as it does not concentrate on one type of cuisine choosing, instead, to utilise four! This is rather brave as I have been to many restaurants which cannot get their own specialist cuisine right, let alone experimenting with others! The four cuisines are: European: predominantly Italian because I would say it is the best in the world (I'm slightly biased though it doesn't make it any less true!) this also includes a very appealing Grilled Meats section if you enjoy your meat; Indian and South Asian; Middle Eastern and finally Chinese. My girlfriend and I loved the menu but my concern was that they might be overreaching themselves. Gordon Ramsay always says that you should keep it simple and not try to do too many dishes.......but this restaurant is trying to do dishes belonging to four rather different cuisines! I've never been to a restaurant which tries to do that and I can't recall hearing of a restaurant which does this and that's probably because it's a really tough trick to pull off cooking such different styles of food and making a success of all of them - a bit like a plasterer who also knows how to fix your car and perform brain surgery! I'm sure they exist but there aren't too many successful ones about! Anyway, we took quite a while to choose because the menu had such fantastic dishes and we wanted to try practically all of them! I must say that although there are a varied number of cuisines the menu is kept to a manageable amount of dishes, so you have lots of choice but within reason and you can tell the menu has been carefully selected and crafted. We eventually went for the Seared King Scallops and the Three Lentil Soup as starters. Then for mains we chose the Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Biryani with garlic naans. I have to say that the Scallops were absolutely incredible! A perfect size - rather than the tiny, insignficant sized scallops you get at some other establishments which claim to be fine dining - and cooked to perfection and the taste combination with the asparagus, pea puree and tomatoes was a work of pure genius! The soup was also absolutely delicious and I can honestly say that I doubt a Michelin-starred restaurant could have served up two better starters! When the curries arrived we were concerned that they could not meet the high standards set by the starters but our fears were unfounded because once again the flavours were magnificent and the garlic naans were absolutely beautiful and so well made! We are both big fans of Dishoom and regularly go there because we love their food and we both agreed that these curries were at least on a par with any curry we would be served at Dishoom. The above makes this restaurant a favourite and an absolute must for anyone who enjoys their food and enjoys fine dining. So you may be wondering why the four stars? Well, it was perhaps too much to expect that it would all be plain sailing and sadly this is the case here because now we come to the desserts. I had the Warm Chocolate Fondant any my beloved had the Cheesecake. Perhaps it was impossible to scale the heady heights achieved by the food on the main menu but we lived in hope that the desserts could achieve such a feat.......but they could not. Sadly it felt like they had to offer a dessert menu but their hearts were not really in it and so they were rather ordinary and did not really show even a glint of the magic and culinary artistry we had been shown. It really felt like the desserts were an afterthought and I am led to wonder whether the chef who produced that fantastic menu and that amazing food had anything to do with the desserts? I can't believe he did. To make things worse I ordered a cappuccino and was given something which no Italian on this earth would consider to be a cappuccino but more like an insult in a cup. I realised there was a problem as soon as I saw the foam in the cup as it reminded me of my amateurish efforts in the 90s when I bought myself a cheap cappuccino maker with attached frother and made some rather awful "cappuccinos" with thick cloud-like formations sitting uncomfortably on top of the milk and coffee. This was akin to one of my poorer efforts and then the taste was the final insult! If that coffee had been within a thousand miles of an espresso coffee bean I'd be amazed! It was clearly instant coffee and it was absolutely awful and such a shame that a restaurant with this much class would serve such sub-standard coffee. Surely they could get a proper machine to do the job and make a fine beverage to compliment such a fine meal? Even a Nespresso machine with an Aeroccino milk frother would be a simple and great idea and it would provide a decent coffee which would not disappoint the diners. In conclusion this is a wonderful restaurant with magnificent food and I hope to keep returning with my girlfriend to try the different dishes. I hope they read my review because I truly believe they are close to being one of the best restaurants in London if they just refine a couple of things because it is a shame to see them let themselves down by a couple of easily rectifiable oversights. They have done all the hard work, they just need to jump the last hurdle and they will be victorious! Finally I just wanted to add that the service is very professional and very attentive without being a distraction and my compliments go to all the staff who work there for making it such a marvellous evening!

Amazing curry & really friendly service! It was my husbands birthday & they brought a birthday pudding, very nice touch!! We will be visiting again! :)

Ok so this place was totally a gentlemens place who are shopping for a companion. Music was good and people were nice but...totally an open meat market.

This restaurant has a vast exiting menu with cuisines from around the world, the food was fantastic and the waiters were amazing, they were constantly at our table making sure everything was perfect which it was.

This a wonderful restaurant to visit in the heart of Mayfair. Located in the Palm Beach Casino, but the restaurant and cocktail bar is open to all. The restaurant is beautifully designed and very comfortable with sized tables or red leather booth seating. The service is very welcoming and attentive and the staff are well trained and knowledgable. The menu has a great choice with a mix on international cuisine, something for everyone. We had lovely mix of dishes including goats cheese and beetroot salad, peking duck, salmon fillet, pasta with fresh well cooked choice of vegetable side orders. There is also a great wine list with choice and well priced. After the wonderful tasty food we went to cocktail lounge for night cap, again wonderful friendly service. Will definitely return, highly recommended

I’m pleasantly surprised at how amazing the food was here! I loved the menu.I’m vegetarian and I felt the food was very accommodating. Also the portions on the desert were just perfect. The staff was very friendly and extremely attentive with the wine. Every staff member introduced themselves to us at one point which was very welcoming. The venue was cute. The cleanest casino I’ve ever seen. I will definitely be back here often.

This restaurant and staff stays consistent over the years. So lovely to have a dish that you remember from a few years back and it's still excellent! Food and service great, well done!

Great food the prawns with chilly and butter sauce was amazing after we had mix grilled platter which was delicious, the staff was very professional and attentive to our needs. Fantastic evening

Este sitio es básicamente un pequeño casino con el bar y restaurante que sirve comida hasta tarde en la noche y me sorprendió que la mayoría del tiempo fue bastante completo. Estaba allí para tener algunas rondas de Poker y tienen algunas bebidas en general un buen lugar para visitar

Pequeño pero bien llevado casino en el corazón de Londres. El personal era muy amable y servicial, y las chicas deambulando de masaje era genial. No hay una gran selección de juegos de mesa, pero tienen una pequeña sala de póquer. Tuve que jugar ampliamente a fin de conseguir llevó mi cócteles, así que no esperes bebidas gratis a menos que estés apostando en lo alto nivel. En general, una experiencia fantástica.

Tried this place twice in one night, first time, we sat at a table, no staff to show us, it was the only one avaliable and covered in dirty plates, staff seemed oblivious, waited 10 mins walked out. went for a gamble in the casino, came back an hour later, found a table…great! waitress came over and gave us our menus and that was the last we saw of her, waited 15 mins walked out, i complained to manager, who to behonest was very apologetic and told us she would give us a free meal if we stayed, she...
