Lamb Balti with very little Lamb A heck load of large onion pieces, the same with big cuts of green peppers. No authentic taste I will not buy food from this restaurant again.

Excellent food, had never let us down and has become our regular takeaway. Highly recommended. Have also eaten in the restaurant, great service!

The driver was rude and my food was over an hour late, I didn’t even know if it was coming anymore.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Terrible customer service, they delivered me food cooked with expired chicken. When I called to resolve this issue they was rude and didn’t take customers concern into consideration. Food hygiene & health and safety need to pay this restaurant a visit.

The food was so greasy looked like it had water on the plate. Got wasted as didnt eat it

Food was extremely nice. We order from this restaurant when we want freshly cooked Indian cuisine. The only complaint I have is that I ordered 2 cokes priced £3.25 and only received one. I was credited the money to my just eat account though after.

Normally order from here was shocked to find flies on my order boxes which put me off the food completely, all went in the bin, it makes me worry about the hygiene standards in the restaurant £16 down the drain

From ordering as taken over 2 hours,still havent got my food

Order for large and got small rice, food had no taste and half of it was out of the container and in the delivery bag. I question some of the reviews, going through customs service put me in 126 position. Will have to wait an hour just for a refund. Just eat use to be a good service what has happened?

A first class and tasty meal. Excellent value.

Food was delicious but 1 curry had split every where so the container was half empty. Also they forgot both rices. When we called they said the spillage is because it came by bike and that was that. They did send the two rices quite quickly. As an apology they sent 1 popadom for 3 of us. Really most restaurants send these free when orders are over £38.00. Just a bit of an insult. So although the food is great the customer services needs to improve.

I rang to the restaurant to ask about the food which was delayed and the person who answered it was rude, just saying it was delayed but didn’t tell me how long I had to wait more. It was 45 min delayed and when it arrived half of the curry was spilled inside the bag, the food was cold and messy! Really upsetting and frustrating!

food was outstanding. the best tandoori ive eaten. meat dishes melt in your mouth. Delivery was early and the guy was very polite.

Driver apologised for late delivery as they were busy, the food was still hot, it didn't spoil the meal that it was late. We are still happy to use the restaurant again.

I tried this place for the first time and the food was amazing, will order again, delivery was a bit late but it is understandable as they stand to be super busy with delivery’s, delivery driver was nice and apologetic, but this is the best place to order curry around the oval area.

Food was absolutely beautiful. I did mark down that the food was late, but the driver was very apologetic and explained how busy the restaurant was at that time. Only comment is that maybe delivery times can be updated through just eat? As I don't like calling the restaurant as they may have others on the line. We will continue to order from The Oval Tandoori as it is our favourite!!

I have dined in and had takeaway several times and have never been disappointed.

Great food, excellent variety of flavours, and the naga was sufficiently hot. Given the current lockdown I'm grateful for such a good option to get curry delivered, and was very impressed how accurate they were with their estimate of delivery time.

Food was really good, only thing was that they forgot my poppadoms but it's an easy mistake and can be resolved.

Utterly Delicious. Beautiful, subtle flavours. Genuinely possibly the best curry I've ever eaten. Maybe one of the best things, I've ever eaten. I could eat the Sag Aloo until I look like it. I wish I was eating more of it right now! Also they delivered after midnight, which was a life-saver, and the man who delivered it was gentle and thoughtful. Top notch! Can't praise it highly enough! Thank you. :-)

The food was very late so slightly cold but they were apologetic and kind. I asked for spicy dishes and they weren’t. I also had to add a bit of salt which is unusual. Rice was a bit overcooked. Veg curry was quite oily. Saag was very good! It was extremely busy as they told me, so I would give them another chance on a less busy day.

Lovely yet again, on-time and now our go to Indian. Great portions, always hot and flavoursome. Recommend the paneer jalfrezi and tarka daal.

Food 6/10. Like many other reviews here it was also very late. Would not return.

Second time I’d ordered, only 30 mins late this time rather than an hour last time. Food was okay. Restaurant were not helpful in tracking my order. Probably would go somewhere else next time, I did try and give a second chance.

Food arrived 40 mins after the estimate ... so total time from order to delivery was 90 mins. Arrived barely warm . When I asked about delay I was told “we’re busy”. That’s fine but be more accurate with estimate as I would have ordered from elsewhere. Food is nice enough but the delivery time and excuses mean I won’t use them again.

About 3 hrs and two phones calls by myself later my good got delivered, the driver couldn't find my address so rather than try to contact me or get the restaurant to phone me he took it back and they decided to wait till I phoned to ask where it was... Twice this happened...

Food was hot and full of flavour

Whilst the food was OK major issue was that the LAMB vindaloo was in fact chicken which unfortunately one of our guests does not eat. Order was also quite late (25 min past the estimated time).

Food was OK. Not brilliant, but OK. When it was 20 minutes late I called the restaurant and asked when it would be delivered. The joker on the other end of phone said "Today. Definitely today". Won't be buying from Oval Tandoori again.

Food was very late and Oval Tandoori staff were not very helpful. We pre-ordered (therefore making us one of the first customers of the evening) and it was still an hour late.

Very tasty good quality food. Would have been ideal if not for late delivery. But overall happy and will happily use this restaurant again.

Usually ok with this place, food is good and delivery is an hour. Ordered at 6:50 on a Sunday and it's now 9:05 and the food still isn't here. Every time I've called since 8pm I've been told it's on its way and they hang up. Very rude and unhelpful on the phone. I won't be ordering again after tonight

The worst take away i've ever experienced. My food was two hours late. I rang the restaurant several times to find out what was happening and each time was just told it was on its way, no apology or anything. Once I was even told if I wanted it quicker I should go and collect it, which sort of defeats the point of a delivery service. When it arrived two hours late I handed over the money but the delivery man didn't have any change. The last Meal was £24 and I gave them £20 and I had another ten, but as they had no change theyour weren't willing to waive the £4, which considering it was 2 hours late I thought was pretty unreasonable. The driver rang the manager who told me to give back the food, so I honestly can't even tell you if it would have been any good. If I could give this place no stars I would.

Do not order! Food was late, quality was poor, and they didn't deliver everything. When I called to find out where the rest of the order was, we were initially refused for the rest of the order to be redelivered. Even told me to go to the shop myself to pick up a bottle of cola that they forgot to deliver!!!!!

Ordered from Oval Tandori before and it's been great, but this evening it was 25 minutes late (order time was already 50 minutes) and one of the cartons had split so the bag was full of spilt sauce. The delivery guy knew this as he told us to be careful but didn't say anything else. And it was cold. A shame.

Nice curry, however, the naan was stone cold (despite the restaurant literally being round the corner from my house) and the curry only warm rather than hot.
