An incredible find just off the main A road. Lovely friendly staff. Delicious fresh food, clearly made with love. I had two side salads and the most tastiest sausage roll I've had. Perfectly seasoned great quality meat. I troed a drink from thier spevials strawbery basil iced tea. So refreshing and not overly aweet, i would definitely have this again. I must remember it's here, as it's a real gem of a place.

Such a fabulous venue situated on the first floor of a Forge. Just off of the dual carriageway and minutes from Newton Abbot. A gem of a cafe for breakfast and great coffee. Optional visit downstairs to the forge showroom. We shall return.

We recently dined here for lunch and it was awesome. The meals were tasty, reasonably priced, attractively presented and really enjoyable. Lovely dining area and staff. We will return again. 😊

Came for brunch and it was delicious, it's slightly pricey for brunch but lovely as a treat meal out. All the drinks were also super yummy. All the food and drinks were presented beautifully with garnishes.

Avoid!!! Uncaring and unprofessional. Absolutely terrible. After arriving explained celiac disease but staff did not register this or give any indication of how they prevent contamination. Ordered one bap, poached egg on toast and some gluten free toast which took one hour to come out which staff gave no indication of wait time or apologies Food Bacon beyond crispy- cremated black. Toast soggy from poached egg water. Did not offer sauces. No member of staff asked how our food was or sorry for delay and charged full price which we paid. Only positive- nice coffee

The best veggie fry up I have ever had. Photo says it all the quality and presentation of the food was 10/10. Great coffee as well and unreal kinder bueno cookie. Service and staff also exceptional. Dog friendly too!

Came across this place by accident and pleased I did. Easy access from motorway, good parking and great food. Excellent vegan and vegetarian options and good portions. Very good prices to top it off Highly recommended

Possibly…no definitely…the best cheese scones we have ever eaten (lovely & warm too 😊). Also had a hot chocolate, a flat white & shared a piece of Lemon Pie Blondie. All seriously yummy! 😋

Just visited The Orchard Kitchen with some of my family. We had a variety of brunches and all were better than we could ever have expected. The quality and quantity of the food presented to us was so professionally cooked and presented with the staff so helpful and friendly, our visit will be repeated regularly in the future. I highly recommend this experience to others.

Beautiful little place. The food was delicious and fresh. The staff were warm and friendly and we were served very quickly. Would be lovely to sit on the little balcony in the summer! There is also a nice shop attached which I only managed a very quick browse of but had some wonderful items. Would recommend a visit!

Amazing vibe and Excellent food! I had the carrot, swede and chickpea soup with sourdough and an oat milk latte. My colleague also had the whole food salad. Both of us found the food and drinks fantastic. The staff were also lovely and helpful. You have to visit the nice shop at the back too as there is loads of great stuff there!

First visit. What a fabulous selection of homemade cakes, scones, super soup, and other goodies. Brilliant service. Brunch and lunch menu looks good too. Will definitely go back.

A real gem of a cafe . Outstanding freshly prepared food to order with first class ingredients. High chair available for our little one. We had courgette fritters, smashed avocado on sourdough with poached egg and bacon , salmon special. High quality and excellent service .

We've just discovered this fantastic place! The welcome is warm and friendly, the atmosphere relaxed, and the food is locally sourced, freshly cooked and absolutely, scrumptiously(?) delicious! Thank you to all the team who have got it SO right. Can't wait for our next trip over to the other side of the moor.

Excellent home cooked food once again. Just in case someone reads this review before April 7th, there's this. STAND WITH UKRAINE..an evening organised by Orchard Kitchen. Pie & a pint evening...£25 per person for pie, mash & veg a pint and a dessert made by Orchard Kitchen. All the other produce is supplied free of charge too. Those suppliers being, Pie from Chunks of Devon & Clives pies, veg supplied by BDF and beer supplied by Utopian.. ALL MONEY raised e.g. 100% will go to the Ukranian Red Cross. At time of writing there were 12 tickets available.

Really nice place, but one rasher of bacon in a sandwich, for £4.50. Really? Live locally and probably won’t be going back.

New favourite. Service great, friendly, everything so tasty, wholesome and cooked with love. Superb.

As others have already mentioned, this place is an absolute gem! My fiance and I were so lucky to find it today whilst on our way back to Wales from Dartmouth. Excellent food, very welcoming, dog friendly and a relaxed environment. Was a pleasure to chat to the owner and play with Penny the pup.

I'm sure the food is fantastic, but today we had booked a table for 6 at lunch and we're so excited for it, but upon turning up found the premises completely closed. We had been given no warning that it was to close, and although I appreciate that during these times places need to close at short notice, a phone call to alert us would have been useful. Great meal at Harry's BBQ though so it turned out to be a good lunch anyway.

Had a great lunch this afternoon. Three of us had the courgette fritters with tzatziki, poached egg and salad which were delicious and large portions. I also had the Pink smoothie with mixed berries, dates and oat milk which was almost a meal in itself! Price was very reasonable and the service was attentive. It is also dog friendly so was a great opportunity to take our's for lunch.

We stopped here on the way to Pennywell Farm for a late lunch. What a lovely place this is, a real hidden gem. The food was superb. I had a very tasty scotch egg which was served with a lentil salad. My partner had whipped feta cheese on rye bread. She said it was gorgeous! We had a cheeky millionaire shortbread after with a coffee and that was amazing. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Wow! What a hidden gem. Was searching for somewhere to eat on a sunday. Lucky for us this place was open. Honestly the best breakfast think I ever had. Highly recommend. Just yum!
