We booked a table for a Sunday Carvery and we highly recommend. Great food and great service. Reasonable price too. A lovely treat. We will definately be returning

Ann-Michelle was great from the start- she helped in everything from allergies to decorations. We had an area reserved outside for an afternoon tea hen party which we were allowed to decorate as we wished. The gluten free afternoon tea was just as awesome as the normal one and everyone was very happy. Thank you team for a lovely afternoon and some delicious food!

I held my 40th birthday party at the venue. It’s a fantastic space inside & out with parking onsite. We had great weather so most people were outside. Organising the party was made easy by the team being very responsive to any questions/queries/requests. The staff on the day were great really helpful, friendly & accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone thinking of holding an event at the venue.

My wife had a brilliant 40th birthday party at The Orchard. The staff were great not just on the day of the party but over the weeks and months of organising the party. The weather was great so the doors were left open allowing guests to use the seated area outside too. The food and beer was very popular with our guests. I had many positive comments on the night itself. No food was wasted nor was the beer!! I would thoroughly recommend The Orchard to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or even popping in for a bite to eat.

Te food is always very good here, but the Jubilee cream tea was superb, especially the blueberry scones. Service as always very friendly and helpful. Roll on the next celebration!

My partner and I had our baby shower at the venue, it was very easy to arrange and was everything we wanted. We decorated how we liked in our reserved area, we’d paid for a buffet of food which suited everyone and was lovely. The whole baby shower event, booking, payment was very easy and all the staff were lovely. I’m definitely planning on using the place again!

I ordered brunch on a semi quiet Sunday afternoon. For starters the cappuccino was brought to my table with no sugar. As the waitress was leaving I had to ask for it which I thought a bit weird as this is the first question a waiter should ask upon delivery of a hot beverage. When my food arrived no cutlery was offered instead the food was just delivered to my table and off the waitress went. The etiquette is would be to offer condiments or at least point towards where they are kept to give me a chance to go and get them myself. I had never been here before and so had to look around to get them myself. Poor poor service across board. Disappointed really as i was a regular customer when this restaurant was at Fairfield and always loved the service I got there. There is room for improvement on the service. The only thing that saved this experience was the food was absolutely delightful!

Thank you Steve, Harriet & team for a really lovely festive afternoon tea. I took a friend for a treat on the first day of the festive teas. We were both so impressed with the gorgeous selection of Christmas treats. The menu was totally inspirational and the warm mulled wine it was served with, was an added bonus. I was particularly impressed that they managed to produce such a high quality gluten-free tea for me with the food very similar to the non dietary option! We have been long term fans of the Orchard for many years but love the environment of your 'new home' at the tennis club. Look forward to many more trips in the future. Meanwhile a huge thank you to all.

Great place for some breakfast or lunch and often work from here when I want a change of scenery and a decent coffee! Lovely staff and food is always delicious too. Definitely recommend plus kid friendly and plenty of parking on site when visiting.

Thoroughly spoilt with a fantastic selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. The service was excellent and the ingredients were fresh and full of flavour. Topping it off with a glass of Prosecco was a nice bonus

Wow, what can I say. We have found a lovely restaurant to either just have a coffee or stay and have a gorgeous meal. Our waitress Chloe was very friendly, efficient and served us always with a smile. The food was amazing, will definitely come again. Thank you

The bar at Letchworth Sports and Tennis Club is now run by the Orchard team previously established at Fairfield. The bar has been revamped and they fit in to the tennis culture fine having been previously based at sports and fitness clubs in the past.
