The full English breakfast is the best, cooked just how I like it. Robbie is a character and full of chat, which is lovely.

We went to eat when we arrived in Sunderland. The person who served us was super friendly and attentive. He was attentive the entire time that we were comfortable and ate well. The food he made for us was of good quality. A success!

An excellent sandwich shop, this guy knows what he's doing! Had a hot beef and gravy, with peas pudding sandwich. It was packed with beef that just melts in your mouth. One of the best sandwiches I have EVER eaten!!

Lovely range of sandwiches, and great breakfast. Well priced drinks, and the owner is an character with a massive in depth boxing knowledge. Place has some great characters coming in and I met a singer from les mis from the show at the empire getting his lunch. Great place!

food came very late, quite greasy food aswell as being burnt. man working seemed very rude and disrespectful to staff, not a experience i want to have again will not be coming back here any time soon, in addition to this the food was soggy and not good food service all together

I came here around 2 weeks ago and purchased the full English breakfast. Whilst awaiting to order (for quite a while might I add) I overheard one of the workers who I am assuming is the manager speaking to his coworker so poorly, who was only a young girl. I found this very unprofessional but looked past it. Although when my food arrived, it was soggy, Luke-warm, and practically drowning in oil. I couldn't even take one bite, it was that unpleasant. I am one who loves to support small local businesses and often spends my money at them, however I will NOT be returning here ever again.

I am very parky when eating out but after two years of being a shop neighbour of Rob and his staff I picked the courage and ordered a chicken curry I had an option of two different style I picked Chinese curry and chips. Glad I did I got a lovely large portion of one of the best curry's I have tasted in years. The chicken breast was cooked just the way I like it. I woukd reccomend the food to every one. Thanks Rob @ The Orange Leaf on Hylton Road across the road from Oddies pub. 10 out of 10 from me.

Freshly cooked delicious foods!

We ordered breakfasts and they were really tasty, especially the sausages.

Had a ham.cheese tomato sandwich and it was great and well worth the money I would definitely recommend any body xx

Called here today for a quick sandwich I had ham salad which was full to the brim with filling well worth the money daughter had cheese savoury which she said was delicious staff are lovely and friendly would definitely recommend

Best place for a sandwich in Sunderland!

Not very impressed with here I ordered 2 large cappachio which came in a fancy expresso cup ..honestly children's playset cups are bigger it cost £5 for the two I nearly died..was gonna order food but we were waiting nearly 45 mins just for the coffee and I had to ask where the coffees were twice. They weren't even busy only us 2 and 4 students sat in the restaurant. I didn't mind paying the £5 if some went to museum funds but no it's a private company over charging cuz they're placed in the museum.. I was not impressed!

Very nice fresh food all round clean and nice to be able to see everything getting cooked and prepared...

Called here today for a quick bite to eat we had baked potato I had healthy chilli daughter had cheese savoury they were very big portions and delicious staff were very helpful and friendly and even gave us a free bottle of water will be back

Called here today as didn’t have time to cook got baked potato with prawns which I think had just been caught that morning they were so fresh and hubby got chicken tikka and salad which looked amazing massive portions w delicious

Just had full monty breakfast bacon cooked to perfection & mushrooms where to die for only place i know to get my bacon cooked correctly 100% recommend this establishment 👌👍

Amazing food and friendly service

Really friendly owner, not very expensive. I got two bacon sandwiches, and got a lot more bacon then I would expect for the price (£2.50). Decor was nice for a café lots of pictures of boxing on one wall and another wall of photography. My only issue was that grease soaked through the paper bag my sandwich was in and on to my table. Overall my breakfast was good and will be going again.

Called here yesterday as couldn’t be bothered to cook and got chicken curry rice and chips was amazing all cooked from scratch massive portions and excellent customer service

Very pleasant owner.....good food....good value and a good clean premises....well done! I stopped to grab a bite to eat in this busy part of the city(with my son...6ft 3 and he takes some filling!)..anyway after a little difficulty parking in the busy icy side streets soon realized the effort to park was well worth it.Good looking food was on display with the salad and meats looking very fresh...we ordered ham sandwiches and the buns were fresh and stuffed with ham and salad...just what we needed...great value and service we will definitely be back on a regular basis...even my son commented on the size and flavour of the food we were given

Visited the Orange Leaf yesterday with a colleague hoping for something different and a quality sandwich for lunch. We were surprised and not disappointed with what we got. Personal and friendly service, each sandwich individually prepared, advice on what salad would go best with each of the chosen fillings. Topped off with impeccable service and great value for money. Please note this gem of a cafe, quality at an affordable price
