Stopped whilst doing the waterfall walk. There was far too much choice on the menus and having made a choice the items were not available - third choice made the meal was excellent. We returned to the pub a couple of hours later and Joe went out of his way to assist - above and beyond - he is an absolute gem and the pub is very lucky to have such lovely staff - thoroughly recommended

The Three Horseshoes Inn

30/10/2018: Excellent british pub that serves excellent food. Lamb is super. Everything is wonderful. Beer and food top notch.
29/09/2018: My wife and I arranged to meet friends for lunch - we were travelling from Haverfordwest to Bromyard and they were local so booked lunch at this highly reviewed pub. We chose to eat from the short set lunch menu - mains were duck breast, cod loin and gnocchi. To finish, we all had poached peach. The quality of the food and the artful presentation placed this culinary experience light years ahead of traditional pub offerings. We felt that the meal represented excellent value for money. Service was attentive and timely. Everyone deserves to be congratulated on getting it so very right.

St John's Place

09/09/2018: This is a fab, fun concept; but I think the 5 star reviews may have attracted a pickier diner who expect michelin style environs. It has the stripped down vibe of a pop up, with simple canteen-like chairs and tables and a small waiting area where you can enjoy a few drinks.
19/10/2018: We’ve been wanting to go here for a while. A long weekend gave us the chance and we were not disappointed. An amazing array of tapas dishes followed by a lovely mail and dessert. Some of the best food we have had in a long time, easily the best place to eat in Hay on Wye. Highly recommended - a must try!
