Nice venue by the pond, I held two photography exhibitions here, although they seem to have been infiltrated by a liberal cult ('SES'), so it's not a proper venue for holding their so-called 'Barnes philosophy club' meetings... Hopefully, not chaired by Robert Cook (unfortunately, a pupil at so-called 'St James', a SES cult school)... END

Coeliacs? Take your chances! Love Kew. Members for years. First visit since becoming Coeliac. No labelled GF options. On investigation, this was not obvious, some salads, were available, but were self service and cross-contamination was rife. Assistant didn't initially understand this but kindly went and got me some fresh from the kitchen. No cakes or sandwiches were available in any restaurant. Disappointing really.

The place itself looks nice. Staff are a bit vacant or uninterested? Ordered an egg brunch bap - for £4.80 I was expecting lovely artisan sourdough something but this was a super cheap white bap - if you typically struggle with digesting bread stay far away form this. It's just poor quality. Sausage roll was oily - edible but did not sit well afterwards. Such a shame as the food does not reflect the overall look and feel of the place. Expected far more. Will not be returning.
