Great small place in the Southside! Wonderful staff - there aren’t many places where you get personal service from the chef, who was even very accommodating of gluten free at short notice! We would definitely recommend.

Dining at "The Old Fish Bar" in Shawlands was an absolute delight. The owner greeted us warmly and took the time to passionately explain each dish on the menu, making our experience feel truly special. The fact that the menu changes monthly adds a fresh and exciting twist, ensuring there’s always something new to try. The food was outstanding—full of flavor and beautifully presented. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and can’t wait to bring friends along. If you’re in Shawlands, don’t miss out on this gem!

Lovely food, served with care and passion. Also very flexible to dietary, making us a special, delicious dairy free taster and dessert. Also outstanding mocktail combinations.

A welcome addition to this part of Shawlands, with unique cocktail choices and also small plates to savour. The service feels really personal and the venue is intimate and friendly.

Grand addition to the local area! Deliciously prepared seafood small plates - all very fresh and flavoursome. This wonderful little place has been added to my list of local favourites.

Fantastic addition to the south side. We enjoyed the Sicilian tasting menu so much, everything was so unique and you could tell it was fresh. The staff were so friendly and even brought a complimentary dish at the start. Really good value for money at £29 pp for such tasty food, and the portion sizes were great considering it’s small plates.

Had been wanting to try here for a while and we’re glad we did! Food was 10/10 and cocktails the same. Really nice to see somewhere put focus on the non alcoholic ones (which genuinely tasted alcoholic). Everything was presented so lovely. We’re so lucky to live close to such a gem!

Wouldn't darken the door again. The set menu was so set that they missed two courses off and tried to charge full price. Shop bought taco to start wasn't impressive. The rest of the food was pretty good to be fair but the shine was completely voided by the slightly grubby looking waiter, empty restaurant (I mean literally just us and no staff) after 2130 and the request for the full bill despite being 2 courses short. Now in dominos making up for the the poor decision.

Outstanding food and service! What an experience. Unreal tasting menu and every dish was so well presented and the flavours were amazing. The owner was so attentive and a fantastic host. Cannot wait to go back next month to sample the next tasting menu!

Had a phenomenal meal here last night, can't recommend it enough! Definitely a hidden gem in the Southside. Lovely, knowledgeable staff. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Best meal I've had in Glasgow in a long time.

How very lucky we are to have a place like this open up in the South Side of Glasgow. The food and service were both exceptional. So much thought has gone into the menu and it’s clear there’s a lot of passion behind what’s on offer. The restaurant looks great and we were very warmly welcomed. Can’t wait to try the next rotational menu.

Amazing new cocktail bar and restaurant in Southside. Menu is seafood and delicious with some ingenious dishes. Sadly don't have their liquor licence yet but the nonalcholic versions of their drinks are excellent. Looking forward to visiting again and trying the alcoholic versions

Amazing quality seafood small plates, beautifully presented and delicious. It's an alcohol free bar at the moment, welcoming BYOB. Small menu comprising of small plates and snacks/sides, mostly fish and are seafood and some veggie options. I believe they're waiting for their licence, and it will be very exciting when they achieve this - would love to try their unique cocktails paired with their lovely food.

Stopped by tonight for my partners birthday. As big seafoodies, the opening of this place has been something we’ve been looking forward to for weeks. The service was absolutely incredible. Very laid back and down to earth, nothing performative about it. I think they’re waiting for the license so was BYOB and they were able to accommodate. Ordered one of everything to share between us. Fresh, sustainable and done to perfection. Every dish is explained to you as it’s brought out. Music was also absolutely brilliant - kudos to whoever made the playlist. If you’re looking for inexpensive, brilliant tasting tapas/small plates in Shawlands then look no further, because this is the place to go without a doubt.

Lovely wee place with a cosy atmosphere and tasty small plates. BYOB and alcohol free cocktails at the moment due to licence. One of those places you could happily linger in all day.

Amazing new restraunt. Food was delicious with exciting tastes and great presentaion. Didn't photograph all our dishes as we got tore into them before we thought about a picture 😆 Lovely owner and staff, and building beautifully renovated from the shop. Looking forward to going back.

I've been in this place for a date. It's a sophisticated aperitif/cocktail bar. Cosy with an amazing atmosphere. The owner is quite welcoming. I liked the concept and the story behind it. They serve fish finger food which is terribly good. Every cocktail on the menu has a short description and a huge fairy tail. This place has the potential to be the next gem in shawlands.

Really nice quality food and drinks and affordable priced. Owner is lovely and I really hope this place gets some traffic!
