Came here for a nice treat The lady that served us was friendly enough There was no one else in the restaurant We ordered drinks, beer was warm and champagne was warm. They have a serious fruit fly problem. We had to cancel our order as I couldn't even enjoy drink without a fly landing on me. Two more people arrived, one wasn't wearing any shoes and they sat them within half a metre of me Not clean, not enough space and clearly can't provide cold drinks. What a disappointing experience

I chose the venue on the basis of the owners Italian Heritage thinking that meant authentic Italian food. However my spaghetti with clams was DREADFUL. Never again will i visit .

Ok this is an oasis in the fish n chips desert. Visited them yesterday with my two kids. The Italian (?owner) came and welcomed us. The food is truly delicious. Had pasta with ragu, steak and fried aubergine with tomato sauce. I will definitely remember this for a long time

Now an amazing Italian deli/restaurant called La Delizia. And it is bloody delicious. I strongly recommend everyone to try it. You will be going back for more!

Okay. Lots of reviews here about the old restaurant - not good, now gone. Onwards! The Customs House building now hosts Frankonia Bakery, which sells bread, beautiful cakes and has one of those cafe type things with coffee and other stuff. The bread is the best I have found in the Folkestone to Brighton area. Wonderful sourdoughs and more. The cakes are even better. Proper French style gooeyness. Paris Brest to die for. Can't comment on the coffee but the light snacks are excellent. Tuna Melts, that sort of thing. But mainly you want the cakes. In volume. Coming one after the other. Staff are exemplary. I challenge you not to like it. Could not be more different to the previous owner/offering which was not great.

Had warm tuna closed sandwich today ended up with bad stomach & vomiting. The bread was so hard we couldn't cut it with an ordinary knife, one of my family had sore gums after eating his, to pay £7-95 for a sandwich was terrible, wouldn't recommend it

Awful restaurant. 4 scrambled eggs on toast and 2 poached (hard boiled) eggs on toast took over an hour in an empty restaurant. Two people finished eating before the remaining 4 people got food! Customer service awful!

Very poor quality food and customer service. Not an extensive menu and they were sold out of most of it. We waited nearly an hour for scrambled and poached egg on toast. The poached eggs were hard boiled and the toast was hard and dry. We had a party of 6 and everyone's food came out at different times. Would NOT recommend

The bakery looks great but I found the lunch sandwiches to be overpriced for what you get, and I don’t recommend warming up the quiche as they just stick it in the microwave until it’s a soggy mess.

Great coffee and even better lemon tarts from this small artisan bakery. Seating outside on front.

The restaurant has closed. Currently, it is a pop up bakery and patisserie called Frankovia. The bread was delicious as was the Paris Brest. The shop was well set up for social distancing making for a very safe feeling shopping experience.

We came across this restaurant by accident in late September I had just arrived in Hastings from Oban, Scotland. What a find! The staff were amazing, polite, attentive and great fun. I haven't enjoyed myself in a restaurant for a long time. The food and wine - superb - in fact so good we returned the next day for more. I cannot wait for my next visit to Hastings to sample their food again.

Been back many times. Seasonal menu for seafood. Think shrimp with garlic, pint of prawns, also small dishes tapas style for sharing.

Go here for oysters and bubbles. A great spot but limited seating. Wonderful for sitting outside in the sunshine.

We had a lovely meal for two for my partners birthday. Set price Monday to Thursday. The chef knows his stuff as the food was flavoursome and cooked to perfection. We had Sea Bass, and for dessert (save some space), I had baked custard, plum and honeyed oats it was delicious. My partner had the chocolate torte. Both desserts you savour every mouthful as so tasty.. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitly recommend :-). Quality food reasonable price.

Great Venue in the town centre - great layout with 3 massive screens and several smaller - ideal for great viewing for the big footy games and I say deff grab a bite to eat with a simple but cheap menu the burgers are amazing and half the price of most in town.
