Have been really looking forward to this meal after receiving good comments from family. On arrival we were greeted by the chef very welcoming and invited us into the bus for cocktails. My wife picked the Gatsby I picked the espresso one. Only to be told I could have the espresso as the kettle wasn’t and could be turned on at this point due to the remote location. (Fair enough but why have it in the menu then) so a bottle of corona it was. They did bring the cocktail through when we were having the starters. The food, was all presented well and was tasty I have to admit I expected it to be slightly better quality but it was not bad. The seats we were given happened to have a broken light bulb and was at the front of the bus by a window that was a shutter so no natural light. Probably would have been an idea to move one from the other seats with a glass window. That and the others were sat together so would have benefited from the surrounding lights. All in all was a nice meal just felt lacking the wow factor we were expecting. I absolutely get that being in a remote location cooking is tricky. And praise the chef for his hard work.

This restaurant is an old converted double decker bus which parks up in various spots around Kings Lynn The lower deck is the bar area. There are approx 20 seats on the top deck which is the main restaurant. The bar serves cocktails and your normal alcoholic beverages. There are a good selection of cocktails and drinks together with red and white wine. Menu consists of approx 3 starters, mains and desserts. These are well presented, cooked very well and nice and tasty. We chose between the 4 of us the shrimps, pate and mushroom dishes for starter, the burger and chicken for main and cheese/biscuits, cheesecake and panna cotta for dessert. Unfortunately there were no pizzas available tonight as the oven was playing up. Staff been friendly. Restaurant clean and tidy.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at this unique dining experience. The downstairs cocktail bar is very cosy and the upper deck restaurant nicely laid out. The serving staff were lovely too and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good, perhaps a tad overpriced, but then you are paying for location to an extent. I would certainly recommend it and we will be going again at some point! The relatively cramped space makes it more suitable for couples than groups as the maximum that can sit facing each other is 4.

Considering that this restaurant and cocktail bar is genuinely a double decker bus, with their kitchen in a separate trailer powered by a generator, what they produce is absolutely great. It's a really nice reception on the bottom deck, with a great cocktail bar. The upper deck is also really characteristic, which is where we ate. The food is absolutely lovely. Really well thought out, tasty and excellently presented. There do have to be some allowances for minor details on the food (e.g. heat of the food when served) but the experience in itself makes up for it. There is a great selection of cocktails on the menu, and a nice selection of other drinks. I appreciate the logistics of having a bar on a bus, and that it's limiting, but it would perhaps be nice to have some mocktail options. Overall this is a lovely restaurant, and a great experience. Highly suggest it.

I was lucky enough to have visited the No.08 Bus last night (18.12.16) with my husband. I had been looking forward to this since the beginning of December when I booked up, but unfortunately chronic toothache decided to pay me a visit! But I wasn’t going to let this stop me from going, after all I’d selected my menu. Upon arrival we sat on the bottom deck of the bus while I viewed the cocktail list in the bar area …. too many to choose from, so I started with a prosecco while I made my first choice of which cocktail I was having. Needless to say I can certainly recommend the following No.08 Punch with the flaming Sambuca, also the Chilli and Chocolate and B.O.B. All went down very nicely throughout the evening  Anyway I had no worries with the food it was certainly 1st class, my starter of gin, beetroot, citrus cured salmon, horse radish crème fraiche, leaves with a sweet lemon dressing was lovely whilst the hubby had chicken liver parfait, red onion jam, melba toast and a herb salad equally as good. For our main meal we both had Sandringham red poll fillet steak accompanied by parmesan topped potato wedges, griddled tomato, rustic slaw and a truffle aioli mine was medium rare and hubby’s medium … mine was absolutely perfect and melted in my mouth so the tooth didn’t get aggravated, hubby also enjoyed his and said it was the best he’d ever had. For desserts we had mulled wine poached pear, gingerbread crumb and cinnamon custard and Local cheeses, red onion relish, grapes, nuts and crackers. The No.08 Bus was set at Knights Hill Farm Shop for the evening and it was a very pleasant different setting eating on the top deck of the bus. There are approximately 18 covers so you weren’t on top of each other and we were warm and comfortable. All staff were superb and very attentive. All in all we had a fantastic excellent evening and look forward to visiting again in the New Year sometime.

We were really looking forward to our evening on the bus but... The food wasn't good enough for the price you pay - £100 per couple with only a couple of drinks each is too expensive for the menu on offer. The 'porta loo' outside was more like being at a festival and didn't even have a light in it. The staff were dressed in jeans and trainers - think you need to smarten up guys. It's a real shame as I really want this bus to do well but it needs some tweaking before we'll consider returning. On the plus side it was a 'Unique dining experience' and the staff friendly.

I booked the bus for my parents birthday as a treat and what a treat it turned out to be. We went to godwick barn which in itself is a great setting even if its in the middle of nowhere !! .. We arrived a greeted warmly. and sat downstairs in the cool bar area. We ordered drinks and mother and wife tried the recommended cocktail.. I have to say there are well worth the money no many times in UK you get a continental style cocktail and apparently they tasted great. .. We took drinks upstairs to the dining area and where seated. PLEASE note there is only on table for people of parties more than 2 or you will be seated adjacent to each other which isnt a problem, We waited for the starters and when they came wow each was presented really nicely and tasted great. nice attention to the balance of flavours and texture .. Mains came and again faultless I had the haddock chowder and wow what a mix of flavours. Desert well just devine. I had cheesecake and it was so tasty and finshed the mean to a treat. I would recommend the bus for a very different dining experience and which the portions where not massive no one left feeling hungry in fact 2 left slightly drunk !!.. I have already booked again and would urge people to support and try such a cool experience .

Visited the No.08 bus as a pop up restaurant in Hunstanton with my partner. Though some venue restrictions had apparently caused issues prior to the nights servings, by the time of our arrival there was indications of this. The cocktail bar was superb, offering up some original and classic cocktails are worth trying (if that's your thing) The food was pre ordered and paid for via the company website. The service was excellent in the intimate 18 cover top deck of the bus. The wine list though limited had enough variation to cover most bases. Highly recommend this as a pop up restaurant to visit.

This was my birthday meal out and it was amazing. Lovely food, great service and really good cocktails. Couldn't fault anything. The bus looked very good and made a change instead of sitting in a restaurant. I really hope you come back to Norfolk next year.

Whilst the food was good, the prices are quite high and then to add a service charge on what effectively is a cafe seems a bit extreme.
