A cracking pub with amazing staff, family friendly customers who are a barrel of laughs. This is a pub you should go to.

Typical local pub..most lively on Fridays as the place to be on market day. Good service and wide selection of beers.

typical british pub. goid atmosphere very friendly staff. the function room is smallish but for a small party its ideal.

The room upstairs was excellent quite large but not too large that everyone could fit into one corner. Can strongly recommend for all functions plus a bar in the room as well .not having to traips up and down stairs is a godsend. Oh and the toilets are upstairs as well .

Local pub with cheap beers. On the market square so easily reached from the bus station. Will definitely pay a visit next time I go to the market.

The Newmarket is under new management that along with the staff make every one feel welcome which has not been present for such a long time

In need of a revamp all over You can see into the kitchen from the bar and its not good Food they have is all frozen ready meals Toilets are manky and need changing though I suppose they're ok after a few necked pints Tesco round the corner for toilets Still looks unloved
