Never had a bad meal here. From breakfast eat in to takeaway or a too good to go order. Their Sunday dinner is also delicious, flavourful and tender meat. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed another carvery again tonight.Food was of an excellent standard as usual. Hot, well prepared , and a good choice of vegetables. Dining assistants kept up with everybody eating and leaving their tables, so the tables were kept tidy , cleared and wiped clean in good time. One particular member of staff deserves a recommendation, for her help and consideration. She noticed I was disabled and came straight over and helped me by carrying my plate, over to the gravy and sauces area, poured my choice of sauces over my food, for me, and then carried my plate over to where my table was. Her helpfulness and awareness of my needs were really appreciated. Thank you Alicia ( hope I’ve got your name correct !! )

I came in and had a breakfast with some friends we all enjoyed. The service we received from john and kilby was also great!!!

We really fancied a carvery this evening 14/05/25. Called ahead to see what time food was on till, was told 9pm, also clarified if we had to book for carvery, was told ‘no you can just come in’. We dutifully arrived, asked the waitress if we needed to order at the bar, were informed that we could order at the bar but would be quicker to order through the QR code on the table and drinks and food tickets would be delivered to us. We dutifully ordered through the recommended way, 15-20 minutes later still no drinks which were two bottled cokes, one bottled water and two the full works carvery tickets. My other half went to the bar to see what was going on, 10 minutes later arrived back with drinks and food tickets. What was the hold up? One member of staff working the bar. Apologised. We walked up to the carvery to see a tiny slither of beef and gammon. We enquired if that was all the meat left, chef said yes! We asked for ‘The Full Works?’. Chef sighed and went into the kitchen. (Not great.) We could see all staff discussing with the manager the situation. Different chef comes out and says there’s been a miscommunication, there is no carvery. We questioned why the manager hasn’t come out to us? We were informed She will be round the other side of the bar, we requested a refund. So had to walk round to the bar. Managers attitude was defensive, dismissive, patronising and rude. Explained we were dissatisfied and disappointed in the lack of customer service. Manager would not let us get a word in and kept interrupting. My other half called her out on this and her reaction was to carry it on doing the same thing! Also tried to justify empty carvery by stating the £6.00 carvery offer was really busy, (You see what she tried?) knowing full well whilst processing our refund we had ordered The Full Works carvery which was £13.99 per person. Our total bill was just under £42.00! In conclusion, save your money! Customer service is non existent, from our observations chefs don’t take their role seriously, saw them messing around in the pizza section. Waitress in restaurant was busy, doing lots of work. Manager really needs to take a training course in taking ownership, interactions with patrons and customer service skills! We weren’t the only patrons complaining! Chap waiting over 30 minutes for two burgers, other woman complaining about a cold burger. Really don’t understand what’s happened to The Newbridge, it used to be a great place to dine! 20 years later it’s really gone down hill. If we could give no stars we would.

Popped in as we were pooped out after a busy day, car park was busy so had little hope of finding a table, bit of a search but we got one, ordered on the app and tbh wish we hadn't its a proper ballache and dealing with people is so much nicer, bit of a delay on our food but when it arrived it was piping hot and great quality, me and my lad had some chicken stack/hot sauce concoction and there lady had a carvery. Piled high it was. Due to the delay the, I'll call her 'the gaffer' Jess popped over and offered us complementary deserts, we declined as we were proper stuffed but really appreciated the gesture. I've worked retail/service for 30 years and can tell a good egg. Jess had that place running smooth as you like, great to see. She was everywhere, bar, kitchen tending to guests. Proper little dynamo. We'll be back, and I'll leave space for desert this time !

I was extremely tired and was meeting 2 ex colleagues after work. I was on my own, and the staff made me feel more than welcome, attentive, pleasant, and fun. Exactly what you need after a hard day at work. You really don't need people with miserable faces in front of the house. I stayed longer than anticipated because even when my friends arrived, the service was still brilliant. I wish I could remember all your names. One of the ladies is called Sarah. Beautiful inside and out. Thank you 😊

Really enjoyed our meal. I had fish and chips - best batter I've ever had, lovely and light and crispy. Husband had a dirty burger and chips and really enjoyed it too. Great job

Came in after a day at the park and was served by the lovely Sophie, Tia, Morgan, Scarlett and Jamie. Food was brilliant with super quick service, extra shoutout to Sophie for checking if everything was okay multiple times, I felt like a very valued customer. :)

We went to the Newbridge for a nice meal and it did not disappoint, I want to give a special mention to our waitress Aliah as she went above and beyond to make sure that my allergens were listened to and made sure I was safe and felt safe. Aliah was so kind, polite and an asset to the pub team.

We’ve been going to the newbridge a few times now and the carvery has always been really good. Always loads of vegetables choices and the staff are always really helpful. I want to mention Aliah, she is always willing to help, spoke to our children and made them feel important in our meal. She made our visit much more comfortable, and she was very attentive to what we needed. Thank you so much Aliah!

We had a fabulous meal at The Stonehouse Carvery, Newbridge Carvery, on Sunday, 6th April. The staff were very attentive. We were served immediately at the bar, all with a lovely manner from the bar staff. The Newbridge was full of customers it was very busy but I noticed everyone was taken care of and no one was left standing. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. We were looked after so well and had wonderful food. 😊 Thank you staff Gaynor and Maureen

First place I think of when I need an English breakfast. Nice atmosphere, great food, enough room and good prices. Wish they gave the plate as soon as you paid to avoid waiting in line with your ticket during busy periods, but that’s a minor contention.

I have been a regular in the Newbridge since 2009 and having seen staff come and go it's always good to see new people fit in well . One such new member of staff is Sophie who has been working on the bar looking after customers for food and drinks alike. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the newly refurbished Newbridge Carvery, the food is amazing and the staff were so friendly & pleasant, especially Jess & Kilby who always make you feel really welcome and are both a pleasure to be served by and I look forward to many more visits in the future. We go there every Sunday for breakfast after our group’s running session. We have also been there for a carvery. We have never had any complaints with the service/ food we have had. In fact at Christmas they went the extra mile for us all as our group split the G. They videoed it for us so that we could send it to a friend in Greece. The staff are brilliant and now they have two people on the food /drinks orders it takes the pressure off the staff and customers alike. We have a voucher present for the Newbridge so we will be along soon to spend that - looking forward to it.

The team at The Newbridge make us welcome every Sunday for breakfast. Sarah always greets us with a smile and are welcoming after a long run. Good value and friendly vibe. Occasionally pop back for a carvery always a good meal.

Service was awful gravy all on instruments and spoons you get vegetables with. Drinks was warm no ice. Staff were lovely and polite and smiley and inside pub is nice but that’s all that was good … ordered a pizza to take away on a Friday at 4.30 pm so not like it’s a busy time and waited 40 minutes for a very bland pizza and size of pizza is small for the price … carvery might be good but don’t ever order a pizza here Hi thanks for reply I knew the pizza wouldn’t be as big as the box you said but didn’t realise they would be that small but regardless if they tasted good I wouldn’t have cared but the tomato purée and cheese were so bland it tasted not great maybe ask the big bosses to get better ingredients in ?

The food was good but not as good as the Toby carvery still a good time

Today, Thursday 20/03, my wife and I came to Wolverhampton for a tattoo session. We went for a walk and enjoyed a delicious burger and a few laughs. The place was cozy, clean, had good music and the people who work there were polite and attentive. We will be back on Saturday to try the breakfast here.

I had a broken wrist and asked Charlotte the server if she could cut my meat up for me,she did and I really appreciated that,thank you! The carvery was nice,could have been a little warmer but overall very tasty.nice place.

Very disappointed, we weren’t shown to our table, just pointed to it after waiting awhile for assistance. The meat on the carvery was very dry, although there was a good choice of veg, but cold apart from the roasties. The server at the carvery was very miserable and made us feel as we were a nuisance. We waited up to 30 minutes for a pizza. Not a good experience and I will never visit this establishment again

The Newbridge has become a go to place when we want to get out the house. It's a stones throw from our home so it's perfect. The staff are super friendly and are great with our daughter. The food is always great and when there is a slight wait due to how busy it is the staff are always helpful and will tell you in advance. It's reasonably priced too and one of the best carveries in the area!

We booked the Newbridge for their pizza making children's party, which seemed like a novel, fun and educational way to keep a bunch of 4 year olds entertained! Alongside my wife and the children, we arrived in advance to allow us adults to eat. The carvery at the Newbridge rarely disappoints and today was no exception - delicious, succulent cuts of beef, turkey and gammon with a "help yourself" choice of vegetables and condiments. It had been a couple of years since I'd eaten at the Newbridge and I couldn't help but ask myself why; it was both delicious and affordable. At party time, we really couldn't ask for more. The table was set up with extra reserved tables nearby for the adults. To begin, the kids decorated their chefs hats, colouring them in - cardboard that adjusted to head size. Next, the kids got to do everything from rolling the dough, to spreading the tomato base and adding their preferred toppings. Down time in between (the pizzas are taken away to be cooked) was filled in with more colouring, before the pizza arrived, with fries also. Seeing the enjoyment of the kids eating the pizza they had made was heart warming. Who knows, maybe this will stick with them and they'll take up an interest in food prep and cooking? To finish off, they could choose a scoop of ice-cream with the toppings they wanted. There was also a goody bag each provided by the Newbridge. I'd thoroughly recommend a pizza making party at the Newbridge - special thanks to Kellie who pulled it all together, nothing was too much trouble.
