Staff were lovely and polite and smiley and inside pub is nice but that’s all that was good … ordered a pizza to take away on a Friday at 4.30 pm so not like it’s a busy time and waited 40 minutes for a very bland pizza and size of pizza is small for the price … carvery might be good but don’t ever order a pizza here Hi thanks for reply I knew the pizza wouldn’t be as big as the box you said but didn’t realise they would be that small but regardless if they tasted good I wouldn’t have cared but the tomato purée and cheese were so bland it tasted not great maybe ask the big bosses to get better ingredients in ?

Today, Thursday 20/03, my wife and I came to Wolverhampton for a tattoo session. We went for a walk and enjoyed a delicious burger and a few laughs. The place was cozy, clean, had good music and the people who work there were polite and attentive. We will be back on Saturday to try the breakfast here.

Very disappointed, we weren’t shown to our table, just pointed to it after waiting awhile for assistance. The meat on the carvery was very dry, although there was a good choice of veg, but cold apart from the roasties. The server at the carvery was very miserable and made us feel as we were a nuisance. We waited up to 30 minutes for a pizza. Not a good experience and I will never visit this establishment again

Made a family visit to the Newbridge We ordered 1 x carvery 1 x burger 3 x pizzas We didn’t have to wait long for our food (considering we ordered different meals) and arrived lovely and hot The staff were very helpful and friendly and showed us how to order from the table We all enjoyed our food and drink Well done to the chefs and we will certainly make a return visit Would like to give Sarah and Jess a special shout-out too who helped us Thank you

The driver tried to give my food to my neighbour, but that isn't the pub's fault. I had the carvery and it did not disappoint, unlike other roasts I have had delivered the gravy was in a pot and the roast potatoes and Yorkshire were also separate,

The Newbridge has become a go to place when we want to get out the house. It's a stones throw from our home so it's perfect. The staff are super friendly and are great with our daughter. The food is always great and when there is a slight wait due to how busy it is the staff are always helpful and will tell you in advance. It's reasonably priced too and one of the best carveries in the area!

We booked the Newbridge for their pizza making children's party, which seemed like a novel, fun and educational way to keep a bunch of 4 year olds entertained! Alongside my wife and the children, we arrived in advance to allow us adults to eat. The carvery at the Newbridge rarely disappoints and today was no exception - delicious, succulent cuts of beef, turkey and gammon with a "help yourself" choice of vegetables and condiments. It had been a couple of years since I'd eaten at the Newbridge and I couldn't help but ask myself why; it was both delicious and affordable. At party time, we really couldn't ask for more. The table was set up with extra reserved tables nearby for the adults. To begin, the kids decorated their chefs hats, colouring them in - cardboard that adjusted to head size. Next, the kids got to do everything from rolling the dough, to spreading the tomato base and adding their preferred toppings. Down time in between (the pizzas are taken away to be cooked) was filled in with more colouring, before the pizza arrived, with fries also. Seeing the enjoyment of the kids eating the pizza they had made was heart warming. Who knows, maybe this will stick with them and they'll take up an interest in food prep and cooking? To finish off, they could choose a scoop of ice-cream with the toppings they wanted. There was also a goody bag each provided by the Newbridge. I'd thoroughly recommend a pizza making party at the Newbridge - special thanks to Kellie who pulled it all together, nothing was too much trouble.

Came out for a carvery before going back to work and school after the half term, the carvery was amazing so tasty we went up for more, our daughter had a burger which she said was the best burger she had ever had, we would highly recommend and definitely be back again

What can I say myself and my mrs had a fantastic valentine's day dinner there the place is kept very well all staff was amazing and friendly the food wow the best we have had so far this we be our goto place to eat out . please trust me you won't be disappointed there 2 thumbs up 👍 👍

The food was good. The tables are crowded together by the door . A couple of tables are placed against the wooden slats screen . No thought has been put into place about how the diner seating there is knocked from foot flow from the bar and cold from the open door. The food gets cold, and coats have to stay on to sit there!

I ordered on UberEats after seeing this restaurant had a rating of 4.2 by 700+ people but I honestly do not understand how!? I ordered a carvery - this was delivered without a Yorkshire pudding as requested but most importantly without gravy, I’m not sure who eats a carvery without gravy!? I had to make my own on delivery which defeats the object of ordering and paying out! One roast potato - you definitely do not get your moneys worth! Finally, whilst the food doesn’t look too bad visually, the taste is not quality at all - the chocolate fudge cake was honestly the worst I’ve EVER tasted, I’m not one to waste food and would describe myself as a foodie but this went in the bin!

My delivery time kept changing, backwards and forwards. At time of order, I was told 40-50 mins., but it was an hour before it arrived There was mash on both meals - I hate mash, and clearly stated no mash.

Some nice, food hot, but meat carved wafer thin we could almost see through it so not value for money bearing this in mind, cauliflower cheese was over cooked and tasteless mush . The cheese and potatoe pie could hardly taste any cheese. Gravy station 3 pots were empty so we had to ask and waited 5 minutes

we ordered a large breakfast and a veggie breakfast but they sent 2 normal standard breakfast but as one of us doesn't eat pork this needs to be packed better

Second time been in after the refurb, its always well regarded and busy for a reason, the carvery. Only let down as has been for years is the luke warm thick bitty gravy. Also no real ales last 5 years, at least they had the dreaded Boom Dar on then.

Good was incredible. Pudlingtons were on point especially the warm cookie and ice cream

Service was very lacking. Waited to be seated at the desk. Nobody came in ten minutes. Then girl poured wrong drink.

We went here recently for a birthday meal, the carvery was bland at best, the tempura prawns were served on a bed of bad lettuce as shown. Service was awful. We waited over an hour and a half for mains. The table wasn't cleared for ages. We actually called a waitress to know if they had forgotten about us. Lasagne was like tomato soup. I would have been a lot more forgiving had the restaurant been busy, but it wasn't. Tables that came in long after us were gone long before our mains were on the table. 4 hours for starters and mains. Grandchild waited 45 minutes for one scoop of ice cream. Will never go again. Very disappointing.

Cheap & cheerful. Meats were actually really tasty; everything else was lacking any flavour.

Tried here again after a bad experience before with the food and I will not be returning. The food is cold and tasteless the gravy is like water. The stuffing if that’s what you call is is like slop!! They carve the meat wafer thin!! Definitely not worth the money. Will not return. Did get offered a free dessert but we politely declined…some reimbursement would have been better.

Went here, just before Christmas the service was terrible, the food came out at different times, food had to go back as the chicken burger was burnt, how ever we did get an apology and a round of drinks on the house, I had lots of custard on my pudding and some had hardly any custard, we was very disappointed

Clearly got the last bits of the breakfast buffet closing. Poor quality. Fatty bacon, dried up black pudding and rock hard fried bread. Took an hour to get here too. Did not enjoy.

Went for a full English breakfast, it's help yourself so you can have as much or little as you want. The pub has a lovely ambience, is clean and tidy. Staff are lovely and friendly. Don't forget to put in your reg to avoid a fine.

Booked our Christmas dinner online easily. Arrived at the pub early as requested. Met by very friendly staff and escorted to our table where a Christmas card in my name was visible. The table was well laid out with crackers and all the cutlery required for a 3 course meal. The starters arrived and I have to say that the portions were more than I expected. My salmon consisted of multiple layers together with a good quantity of prawns and lashings of seafood sauce. My wife's melon medley with Parma ham was just as generous. We had opted for the Christmas carvery and once again the meat portions were exceptional. Usual vegetable selection plus roasted parsnips, sprouts and, the best yet, a dish of fresh pork scratchings. I just managed to eat the Christmas pudding that followed but my wife left half of her apple pie which was enormous. She regretted that later. What impressed me most, other than the quality and quantity of food, was the organisation of the whole event. Charts were pinned up and various stations which somehow worked flawlessly. All in all, it was a marvelous experience. My wife said it was the best pub meal she has ever had. Obviously, I will be booking next years treat when the time arrives. Thanks to all the staff for making the meal truly enjoyable.

They opened up the carvery and there was a stampede what they needed to do in my opinion is call up so many tables at a time or use a ticket system At one point the queue for food was almost out of the door

Went for dinner with my daughter and partner yesterday, food was lovely and so were the staff, one member that stood out to us was amy, very attentive to my partners needs when it came to food intolerances, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat.

Unfortunately, our family lunch at The Newbridge Stonehouse was far from satisfactory. We decided to try the carvery, but it turned out to be a big disappointment. The food was bland and completely lacking in flavor. The meat, potatoes, vegetables, and even the gravy were all devoid of seasoning, and there wasn’t even a hint of salt. Of course, you can add salt at the table, but anyone who knows cooking understands that seasoning after the fact doesn’t truly enhance the taste. The only highlight of our meal was the chicken strips we ordered as an additional dish. They were tasty, well-seasoned, and juicy – definitely the only item worth its price. Everything else? Unfortunately, it felt like it was made for people without a sense of taste. At this point, I cannot recommend this place, and I certainly won’t be returning. There are several better pubs in the area offering similar menus, but prepared by chefs with a sense of flavor and skill. If you value good food, keep looking elsewhere.

The Carvery here is fantastic and super value for money. Additionally the food is always fresh and tasty (for a carvery this is exceptional). The check and kitchen staff are always friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is clean, well lit and very inviting. Love the trendy refurb.

Today was my first meal at The Newbridge since it opened after lockdown. The meal I can honestly say was the best one I've ever had. I cannot fault anything that was put on my plate. The reception from the staff was first class but then again it always is. Due to Covid-19, safety measures are in place, as I work in retail myself I'm used it it. So whilst Covid-19 is still around we all need to take care. One day life will return to how it was before, until then stay safe. Update 18-11-23 I've been going to The Newbridge for over 13 years, and I've enjoyed every meal there.

All the veg was fresh (nothing from frozsn) and enough choice of veg (although no broccoli (king of greens)). Friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere.

We’ve had our Christmas meal here tonight (group of 10 of us) everything was perfect from the welcome to the service at the bar (can’t remember the ladies name but think it begins with K!) our table was in a nice quiet area and the table was nicely decorated. The waiter and waitress were extremely helpful and attentive (thank you Matt and Camille) The festive menu was delicious and excellent value. Will definitely be returning
