Today's was my second visit to this excellent establishment; the first being last September just after the initial lock-down lifted. On that occasion we ordered a portion of pie and two lattes, one of which was a special with a shot of flavoured syrup, whipped cream, marshmallows and sauce. It was no less than a work of art and was, I was told repeatedly by my sister, delicious. Of particular note though was the care taken by the proprietor and her friendliness which made the experience pleasantly memorable. This second visit has been no less pleasant. It is plain that the three ladies enjoy being there and enjoy preparing and serving good food. The lasagne, cooked with wine and topped with toasted cheese and herbs, was exceptional and caused me to seriously consider a second serving. However, an equally generous portion of apple tart and an excellent coffee completed the meal in a very satisfying way. This is one of those places you leave feeling good and wishing you lived close enough to be a regular customer. Well worth a visit.

Very happy impromptu visit! Lovely baguettes for lunch, with a nice side of crisps, salad and coleslaw for a great price. Really nice cappuccinos, strong and tasty. Look forward to visiting again to try what looked like some lovely homemade cakes too! Clean and safe environment regarding covid, with lovely service from the two ladies. Thank you for making our first lunch out in Treorchy a delight!

We called in to The New Salad and Deli Bar because it looked so inviting. Staff were very friendly. Had two lattes and two custard slices which were delicious and very reasonably priced. Hope to be able to call in again soon.

A fine range of salads on offer or a full English if that it to your liking. Very enjoyable company although sometimes getting a seat can be difficult. The host is always pleasant and the service is great. Another Treorchy gem.

Only called in for a coffee on a wet and windy Wednesday in Treorchy but was really inpressed with the welcome, decor and atmosphere. A family run business only set up earlier this year provides a wide range of appetising salads/deli from which customers can choose from. Nice selection of lunch time specials on offer too. Very happy to recommend.

Although living just a half hour drive from Treorchy, in the Rhondda Valley, we rarely visit, probably because it's classed as "local". But it's High Street has just been selected as one of the best three High Streets in Wales, so we decided to go and see what all the fuss was about! Will admit that it has a variety of independent shops, each with lovely window displays. and not expensive in any way. The High Street has a large number of inviting looking Cafe's, so we opted to try the new Salad & Deli Bar. The place is spotless, with very comprehensive menu cards on display at immaculately set tables, order at the counter, and your choice of lunch is served to your table within a few minutes by very polite, cheerful ladies. We had both chosen a sandwich (huge choice of fillings), and these were served up with an accompaniment of salad, coleslaw and crisps, together with our ordered coffees. Absolutely delicious lunch, and all for a tad under £13 for both meals and drinks! It's no wonder the place is so popular. Ps, also displays a specials board with Cottage Pie, Omelettes etc.

Our first visit to Treorchy from Swansea and we were pleasantly surprised. We visited The new Salad and Deli bar for a coffee... There was a wonderful variety of salads jacket potatoes but we were tempted by the delicious cakes! We recommend the Victoria sponge! Mmm A lovely modern light vibrant setting . The staff were friendly and helpful. The owner and her mother were particularly friendly. We wish them success in their new venture!

Was looking for an early morning breakfast so went to the address, Sully’s is no longer in business, has been replaced by a kebab place which wasn’t opening until later that morning.

Was nervous after reading bad reviews . Thankfully I needn’t have worried. Food was well cooked and most of all hot and service was excellent too. And the added bonus was not having to queue up outside on a freezing December night .
