Used to love this place but now you watch people smoking joints openly - or women saying sexual content - not good! Not the place I remember or liked

Pub on Friday evening is fantastic. Also the restaurant next door is great. And Saturday and Sunday are barbecue days in the large garden which is covered...

First time going here, friends invited us out to join them on their regular Sunday night out and we were pleasantly surprised! The Queen Victoria is a really well maintained establishment, bar one side, restaurant on the other side and a garden area. Sunday night there are 2 DJ's, 1 in the bar area and the other in the garden. Banging, feel good music, African beats that make you want to dance where you're stood!! Food - well that was amazing, well cooked, really well presented and definitely full of flavour and most importantly, it is fresh. 5*'s for the food, ordered the Mutton and Potato Curry with rice, came with a side of salad and a side of spicy Carrot and ordered some fries. Well worth the money, brought to the table hot, looked good, tasted amazing and would 100% recommend you eat here. Our friends ate the Soup of the Day and couldn't stop talking about how nice it was, the menu has some amazing choices on it and being an African restaurant, the opportunity to try some exotic steaks is on the cards for next, choice of steak from Zebra, Crocodile and Ostrich to mention a few. Reasonably priced for the quality and portion size. We will definitely be back here at some point to eat again!!! Thanks to the staff for their service this evening!!

I was in the area for the first time, this is a family owned and run pub. I entered as a stranger and left as a friend. Highly recommended this pub.

Always a fun and friendly vibe, great prices on food and drinks. The kareoke is always good for a fun night out. Great outdoor seating area. Fab staff.

The Friday night dj is awesome... the best I have heard. Can't believe he can play such a varied mix of music and can keep them in. His karaoke is so much fun too. Great pub great atmosphere... highly recommended.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who works at this pub! Couldn’t have been nicer if they tried and went above and beyond. As a group of people attended this pub without reservation for a wake they catered for all of us without hesitation.

If you like a dog friendly pub with nice staff, pool table and a large outside eating & drinking area then it's for you. Also great food.

Good locals bar, nice pint of Guinness and Sky Sports.

What a lovely place! I love the whole vibe, friendliness from not just staff but even the visitors. I attended the Friday karaoke and had an absolute blast. Not really a going out person but been here 2 Fridays in a row now… thanks guys!

We used the function room, staff were great, beer was good what more could you ask for

All was well until some of the staff stared playing their preferred music louder that the rest of us could stomach

It's owned by South African family and they are so welcoming. They have a restaurant next to the pub. The food is South African and its really nice and the people who serve you can help with any questions about the food you have.

You need to have a hard look at your staff and customer service. This is not a safe space in MK

Great place, went there Saturday 30th October and was a pretty good night with the girlfriend and her friends

Only popped in for a beer but sadly the London Pride was not in great condition, and for me if the beer isn't right I can't enjoy a pub. Only a very limited ale selection so presume it's just not their main focus. Might be better for lager drinkers. Music extremely loud in the outside section. Not my sort of place unfortunately, but the guy behind the bar seemed friendly enough and there were plenty in there so they must be doing OK.

Very good temperature check when went in, should have that in all pubs, red stripe lager:) 70s TV However when people go to play on fruit machine, which I think should be switched off in this current situation, they should wear a mask

We have gone for Breakfast and also lunch and it is lovely, with a very good children's menu. Would recommend.

The beer is cheap and the staff are friendly. Has a few tv's and other basic pub stuff. Came here years ago for my mates birthday in the function room which was a good night.

Awesome place great food great atmosphere

Best food in Milton Keynes, with good size portions, pleasant staff & castle lager the best beer in the world. That was then! Had a meal there last Friday and unfortunately my favourite meal has been changed for the worse. Always order Sadza with ranch house steak and borewors, the steak has been replaced with a thin peice of tasteless tough brisket. I'm not impressed.

As a South African can recommend an authentic taste of Africa cuisine. Oh Yes, the decor is amazing

A fantastic pub for the area, entertainment is the best in Milton Keynes. I cannot fault the management they are honest and loyal to their staff and know how to run a pub. This is one of my residences where I can truly say I still enjoy 5 years on.

Great pub with the cheapest beer in town. Its a real man's kind of pub - so language can be a bit ripe. The owners have got the restaurant next door - The Braai Shack. Give it a try if you enjoy traditional Southern African food.

Traditional Pub, OK Beer. Looks like it could be good if you want to watch sports.

Very good service.good food never a complaint . Seating out back and out front weather permitting nice wall decor seating to suit all large or small. Person s Toilets bit of a sqeeeeze . I know at least 18 people that have been in here and all have said how good it is .its a great meeting place for all.

I am local from the area walk in and ask for a bottle of wine with my wife and was charge £15 ok we paid it and thought wow we won't say here for no more walk around the corner, for a few more at another local pub. a few days later my wife and her friend went in and was only charge £5 for two glasses. I thought the days of discrimination we over.. Clearly not in this place. However I will speak to their management and report back as it would only be fair to get their side.

i go there 3 times a week with the wife,because i like good food,and good service, here you get both,realy good food,and service with a smile,and a laugh,eat indoors or out doors,out doors you have a safe place for the kids to play,so GO THERE AND ENJOY ok
