Lovely place, amazing food, all reasonably priced. Really nice staff, very helpful, polite and attentive. Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again

Amazing food and very good size (had small plate which was huge). Waitress was amazing, very attentive and friendly. I wish I had asked her name. Also the most dog friendly pub I have been to, nothing is too much for anyone.

Bar locals with dog roaming free. Whilst dog friendly, free roaming dog naturally feels its its territory and snapped at my dog. Suggest dogs on leads policy.

The food was ok, Camembert was gooh in a huge bread roll... just not a nice looking meal. It seems an attempt to be up market and fails. It always smells like the toilets in the restaurant (been like that for years) The food was tasty but not brilliantly presented. How about letting us get our own drinks from the bar (saves on mistakes) and let's the poor over worked superb friendly staff get on with their job.

Honestly the best food in the Bromsgrove area, the service is always fantastic too. The steak is always perfectly prepared and cooked exactly how I asked, which is surprisingly rare these days! It's also a lovely atmosphere.

Fantastic pint of butty Bach in the sunny garden most the baby and dog play. Play area is for about 4 +but totally fine for a little 18-month old with adult help and supervision. Staff very friendly. Food was ok.

I went for a meal (25 Nov 2023). Lovely pub and pleasant service, however the food was really poor. I had home made soup to start which was cold and didn’t taste great at all. I went for tex mex steak for my main. It was really gristly and I asked for it rare and it came well done. The homemade chips weren’t great either. Probably won’t head back soon.

Beautiful little restaurant and pub, such a friendly and warm atmosphere and the staff are so lovely. The food there is fantastic, I have to eat gluten free and they really accommodated me well and it was all delicious with good portions. I can’t recommend this place enough and I will be definetely coming back! :)

Visited here today with my partner and 4 children. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was gorgeous. Really reasonable too. It looks like a really high end establishment but affordable prices. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. The server who served us was brilliant and so helpful and friendly xx

Absolutely amazing. The staff could not be helpful enough. They allowed me to bring a cake early and stored it in the fridge for me, then set up a cake table for our arrival, answered so many questions about the food to check for allergies, nothing was to much trouble...... and they did it all with a smile on their face.

Lovely little pub we stopped off at on a walk. Very popular, will have to go back and try the food. Nice seating area outside as well and wheelchair access. Carpark as well.

A cosy boozer. Would be ideal in winter. Everyone crammed together for heat. Obviously I went on the hottest day of the year so far. They've done what they can with beer garden. Beer was good!

It's like a breath of fresh air, what a lovely family run business, super friendly and attentive, we hadn't booked and were shown to a table straight away. The beer was very nice indeed and our food order was taken within minutes, we didn't have to wait long for the food I had fish and chips and it was a large portion my wife had liver and onions, the food was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing, special thanks to Kate who made us welcome and went above and beyond to help us. Needless to say we are going back but this time we've booked a table for 14, can't wait, thank you so much 👍😁

This is a hidden gem of a place - the food is excellent and a great range of drinks (especially Gins). The owners make a real effort to run a welcoming pub and this translates through all of the staff. I will definitely return soon.

Just popped in on the of chance for Sunday lunch as my original choice was full today.. Omg!!! what a little discovery, I made.. The Food (Carvery) was amazing so tasteful and plenty of meat. The staff were very friendly and accommodating considering I got into restaurant just as they were about to close the Carvery. Thankyou so much to all, I will be back and would highly recommend the place to others

Just had a fantastic Sunday carvery. Plenty of meat and a great selection of vegetables all cooked to perfection.

It was too cramped. I found the food to be average. The staff were great though. I had heard many good reports about this place from friends so hopefully it was just me having a bland tasting day.

Nice carvery but we must have been slow eaters because the waitress told us the table needed to be vacated because other people were waiting. This spoilt the experience slightly.

Fantastic Sunday carvery today . Beautiful fresh veg and succulent meal . Like eating at home but with the bonus of no cooking or washing up. We booked the table late last week and we were accommodated by really caring staff who jiggled some tables around so we could take my elderly parents and visiting family for lunch . This is the first time I have been back to the New inn in a few years and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be returning very soon and can highly recommend.Thank you

First time at the New Inn, we went to a 60th birthday party, what a lovely pub. Really good food served at the party, the bar staff were great. Would definitely recommend.

FANTASTIC !! PLACE celebrated friends 60th birthday owner and staff were LOVELY realy accommodating. The FOOD was exceptional .would give more stars if it was possible. Sunday lunches are supposed to be amazing. Can't wait to try it .DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THIS FAB PUB 👌

The New Inn is a wonderful country pub with great well kept beer and splendid food. A wonderful warm welcome awaits from all the staff, clearly trained to remember all the old fashioned family standards. At the front of the property there is a ‘beer garden’ area, very popular in the warm weather of late and part of the car park front and back. Disabled access is good with a little extra care and behind the bar area there is a large seating area in the restaurant. The online menu is quite varied and concentrates mainly on traditional pub meals, however that is not a criticism. The portions are good, and represent great value for money. Very few people could eat here, and honestly leave hungry. The sweets menu shows the same imagination with twists on the old favourites (mine the deep fried ice cream, & rum and raisin!) The service is wonderful with helpful friendly advice and reassuring attention to detail especially with our food allergies. In short a family run friendly and great value country pub, super well kept beer and wonderful food served with imagination and backed by a good clear understanding of food allergens.

Staff are friendly but some of the punters were rowdy and one took his shirt off which wasn't a pleasant site

Visited for the first time for a special occasion 8 of us dinning. Had to pay upfront deposit. Unwelcoming staff, unfriendly and untrained. Mix up when taking order, came back several times to ask how we would like our steaks cooked, waited over an hour for any food to arrive. When it did steaks were swimming in butter to which I have an allergy too not stipulated on the menu! Changed but over done, salad mixed leaves not a salad!! On paying bill was incorrect, not even taken in to account I had already paid deposit. Embarrassingly to top it off my son who is a paramedic was ID and didn’t have any ID on him couldn’t even have an alcohol drink. Not a place any of us would ever revisit!!

Visited this pub yesterday the 2nd July with my husband and two friends. From the moment we walked in we were given a warm and friendly welcome and this continued until we left. The food, prices and staff were all excellent. I will be definitely returning. Support this pub, you won’t be disappointed

Lovely pub with great food and staff. The carvery pork bap is delicious and full of meat and stuffing. All the food is great and very good value for money . Our dog loves going there and always gets lots of fuss and treats. This is a great find for us and we will definitely be back. We can highly recommend it.

Great if you don't mind dogs jumping up on the furniture. Was a wet day and the owners dogs wouldn't stop jumping up on the bench seats.

We had a good meal at the New Inn. Wide selection of meals to cover all tastes, good size portions, very tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Eating area is spacious, comfortable and clean. Good sized car park. All round, a good choice for a meal.

First timers here.but highly recommended to us...we had a lovely table in the conservatory area staff so lovely friendly and accomadating atmosphere was great..parking was an issue but it was because this place is so popular..the four of us had a carvery which for 9 pounds was great value followed by a dessert which was fab...definitely going back again thanks guys

The one star is for the beautiful atmosphere and extremely lovely helpful staff. The food was the worst I have had, I never like to complain or do not write reviews only if it was a lovely place. I would not like anyone else to have such a spoilt night if like ourselves it was a special occasion. Our wedding anniversary. Not been here for a very long time so decided to try it. First the gin I ordered they didn’t have but decided just to bring a different one over to the table, but it was very nice so it was fine. We both ordered the mixed grill, we had our first plate come chips came separately, I started to eat as she was a while and served another table only two tables in at the time. My plate was extremely cold, I put the mushroom in my mouth and it was stone cold. When she finally brought the rest of our meal I explained it was cold, she was very apologetic and did offer to take it back. I would rather go with out and would never return it? I cut my sausage and it was just cool? I tried my steak embarrassingly I had to spit it out I couldn’t chew it? I couldn’t cut my chop at all, the egg and chips and peas was ok? 🤦‍♀️ She did come back and ask how it was, how could so much be wrong with one meal it was awful. My husband managed to eat his though but he did not enjoy it at all? So I couldn’t say much, he wouldn’t leave his at the cost? I wanted to leave straight away it was so embarrassing. He did tell her as he paid. After a family member messaged to say how awful apparently they did check my left food and agreed my chop was over cooked…. Lovely place for a drink not food..
