Excellent little cafe nestled in the Clent Hills. I had one of the best sausage sandwiches before embarking on a drizzly walk. Excellent pit stop for a cuppa and was even provided with some cardboard to sit on as everything was wet. Staff were lovely and cheerful despite the cold and wet! Good looking menu and good location in the National Trust car park, although I parked elsewhere and walked to the cafe to avoid the car park charges. Extremely good value too! Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely delicious sausage and egg sandwich. The bread was thick but as soft as a cloud. Only downside was it was so good my nephew nicked half.

Hadn’t visited Clent Hills for a while and was looking forward to a nice stroll and a breakfast sandwich to follow. Seems that cafe has changed owners. Went to order a bacon & mushroom sandwich and a Sausage & Tomato sandwich and was told “we don’t do tomatoes or mushrooms, we have eggs”!? What kind of breakfast cafe doesn’t do mushrooms or tomatoes!? This is the ideal place for a dry sandwich, if you like that sort of thing.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Clent Hills with my partner and our dog. Upon arrival, we were keen to enjoy a meal and a hot drink before embarking on our walk. Nimmings Wood Cafe proved to be an excellent choice. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and served one of the best bacon and egg sandwiches I have encountered at a National Trust location. Both the coffee and hot chocolate were outstanding and offered at reasonable prices. I would unreservedly recommend this cafe to anyone visiting the area. It is certainly beneficial to visit the cafe and enjoy a substantial meal before starting your journey across the hills.

Great sandwiches but the coffee was really disappointing. Two lattes and both very weak. Tasted like warm, watery milk. Coffee needs to be stronger!!

Monday 13th June 2022. Decided to cycle up Clent for a mug of tea and a bacon sandwich; got neither. At about 1020 a member of staff came out and asked me what I wanted, I told her and then she told me they could not provide me with my request nor take my bank card for payment. Now this place receives 5 star reviews but not today. I have used this place a few times over the years and I get the impression that the staff have changed and not really up to it. I will continue to cycle up Clent but I will avoid this place. Pity really.

Very busy on a bank holiday Monday but not surprising. However the service was quick and the food good and tasty. It is all served from a 'hatch' and there's no indoor seating but there are a few undercover tables and plenty of outdoor seating with an overflow area behind. The Clent Hills in the immediate area of the cafe were well used hence the trails and viewpoints were very worn but if you're prepared to go a bit further it can be a very pleasant experience, particularly during bluebell season.

Today wanted to have some food and drink with kids. Paid £18. Expensive. Couldn't stay and have food and drink at the bench. It was closed. Cancelled order and asked refund. Was not nice. Behind the toilet the bench area was open, but was full of people. Expensive restaurant but no facility to enjoy food. Not nice customer approach. We have been told to avoid overcrowded. There was not many people. Just a few. Not happy. Not fair customer approach. Restaurants and pubs welcoming people inside. This facility not in outside. Not nice. Thank you. We were not welcomed with kids. We have been told we can have our food and drink standing.

My goodness, what excellent sandwiches! A great little lunch stop in the countryside. Pro tip: as it's on a National Trust site, the car park is pay and display, which makes it an expensive sandwich. However, if you're purely there for the café, there's an alternative called Walton Hill car park about half a mile away. That said, the locals seem to park pretty much where they like... Improvements? Nothing on the ford, drink or service fronts. An indoor seating area would be nice for when it's a bit chilly around the parts (I'm assuming that heating under the canopy just wouldn't work very well), but I understand that would be a pretty big undertaking...
