What a lovely evening, good music, nice atmosphere and the food was amazing, I had the BBQ ribs served with extra sauce which was delicious, then followed by the chocolate brownie, would highly recommend this pub for a great family meal.

Heard the chef bad mouthing some of the customers to the lady behind the bar which ruined it for me. Food was amazing though, just a shame it was ruined by these rude comments

Went here for valentine’s with my fiancé. The meal was lovely, and the dessert was delicious, we even got a free bottle of wine for ordering 2 courses, the service was amazing and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful 👍

Visited the New inn today for lunch for the first time after finding out that Tye had taken over the pub. Everyone was really friendly and the roast was lovely. Great service and great food what more can you ask for. Well done Tye and the team we will be coming back soon Thank you.

A real warm welcome at this lovely pub. Delicious Sunday lunch (the lamb was outstanding!!), fantastic service with some friendly banter over the playlist! Will definitely be returning ..., even if it's just to get the song stuck in your head again 🤭

Great place for a meet up and natter with friends. Some of the locals can make you feel unwelcome with their stares as you enter, just ignore them and enjoy your time.

My husband and I decided to book for Sunday lunch to support our local pub. It was delicious and on a stormy day the wood burner was lit and roaring away. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I was disappointed there were no starters but I don’t think I would have managed my roast beef!

This was our first visit to The New Inn Parc Bottom and what a great experience! Totally faultless! From beginning to end the evening was so lovely. We were enjoying the experience with some close friends who had recommended this ‘Must Try Local Village Pub.’ The food was so delicious , fresh and well presented. The service was second to none and all the staff were so accommodating and friendly, apologies names forgotten ! Portions so generous. Also delighted to be able to have our pooch ‘Bertie’ with us. Ambience and style of the sympathetically refurbished hostelry is excellent. Landlord Tye and the Team have strived to bring this lovely Village Pub back, against all the odds. A massive credit to All of you! A huge THANK YOU for a memorable evening. Undoubtedly, we will be back soon.! 💕

Me and partner have been to the New Inn a few times in the last month. Highly recommend. Good choice of beer in tap, enough gin to keep the lady happy. Try out the roast! We had the vegan wellington - Delicious!

Didn't have anything to eat, we just went in for an after work drink....... Guinness 0% is lovely

Its perfect to enjoy a pint or two with colleagues or mates, nice food to munch on, my personal favourites were the "samosa" and the pancake rolls. We will definately come back.

Very accommodating staff with a free car park. We had a great Christmas dinner with a selection of meats. The Yorkshire puddings was a good size. A good idea to book as it was busy over the weekend.

We attended the Christmas tree lights turn on this Saturday. Excellent atmosphere, pub was as warm as the welcoming. Sunday Lunch very tasty indeed and a cheese cake desert just awesome. Good luck to the new owners for the future.

Came in on Friday night for some food as a party of 4. I can only it was amazing, the food and service was first class. We will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I have visited a good few times since the new owners took over in September and eaten their 3 times since their kitchen reopened. I honestly can not recommend them enough. The food is delicious 😋 the staff are super friendly and it's actually affordable! The atmosphere is great, everyone we have met here has been friendly. Well done to Tye, Alex, and the team. 🍻🥘

The landlord is friendly and welcoming, treats you like you are a member of the family. The food is amazing and out of this world just waiting to try the roast.

First visit in a long while, not the pub it used to be. Torn seats just one of the things that stood out. Shame really.

Proper local feel as soon as I walked in. We were passing and had not been in before so it was a good find. Well kept local ale and friendly service. The feel of the place was good as they cater for the local rugby team post match. Wheelchair ramp at entrance. Look forward to returning.

I visited the New Inn yesterday evening with my little dog 🐶. What a lovely atmosphere for this lovely pub. Everyone was friendly and Hayley the landlady is lovely. She gave my dog treats. A nice touch. Will definitely be back again soon

Popped in for Sunday lunch with the family. Great food and some good ales on. Made to feel very welcome.

A nice walk along the river to the falls.

Booked a table for 6 last night, food was great, we all had different meals and all came out together. Hayley and team were welcoming and had an added bonus of an open mike night which we really enjoyed. Lovely pub an great atmosphere! We will be returning very soon.

Lovely pub! Hayley and her team are so welcoming and we are very pleased that they are now serving food. Delicious roast dinner today, great yorkies and amazing potatoes! Good selection of fresh vegetables and the meat was cooked to perfection. Look forward to trying other items on the menu!

Looked ok to be honest.. just popped in to turn around. I wouldn't of minded a quick pint mi self but the mrs had different ideas lol.

Absolutely lovely pub, food amazing, Chef & staff all very friendly, booked a table whilst there on Holiday with my family, on arrival a nice cold fresh bowl of water was waiting for our Dog & some treats which went down a treat for him. The bar lady came and made a fuss of him & made us feel welcomed. The chef came to meet & greet us & spent a while chatting & laughing with us, he has a fab sense of humour and made us feel very welcome also. This place is a must, if I'm ever back in Cornwall I will definitely be returning. Keep up that lovely atmosphere it really was noticed. Thank you

Lovely place to go for food or drinks, made to feel welcome and absolutely love Pooches in here! They couldn't do enough for the pooches and everyone passing asked if they could fuss them. A real surprise ! My wife had fresh homemade veg lasagne with garlic bread. Fantastic! I had mixed grill with steak cooked perfectly. Lovely sausages bacon mushrooms onion rings and a mountain of chips. Delicious. Would absolutely go back next time we are in the area.

Where do I even start! The service was poor, the food was greasy, they’d forgotten meals and meals came out very staggered. Then when we tried to complain were met with aggression from the landlord and locals. Wouldn’t suggest to anyone!

DO NOT VISIT. Terrible food waited over an hour for some of party to be served and 1 meal was cancelled before it arrived! Food quality was very poor. Manager not helpful in dealing with issues to the point of not returning when asked for the bill! Manager tried to intimidate person dealing with the complaint.

I would love to list all of the problems with this establishment. However I'd rather not write an essay. To start with, the food was greasy, barely a caring thought put into it and all round lazy. And that's if it even came out at all! The first dish came out an hour before the last. And then when we complained about the issue we were met with heckles from locals within the establishment, and aggression from staff. Unsurprisingly the one of the workers was drinking at the bar with customers.

Typical cornish pub very friendly

I've never known a pub go downhill so quickly. New landlords obviously have no experience of running a pub. Visited pub last night with my 72 year old dad. The tribute looked a lot lighter than normal and tasted watered down. Thought it was a new barrel and not been pulled through enough. 2nd pint was terrible. Drank half and left it. Dad was violently sick in the pub before he left and I felt ill. Tingling taste in my mouth made me think it was line cleaner (I ran pubs for 10 years so know what I'm talking about). Dad was violently sick again when we got home 10 mins later. Parents have also said how the standard of the Sunday lunch has significantly dropped following arrival of new landlords. It was cold and parts were inedible so they left most of it and took the meat home for the dog... All the lunch was fit for! Won't be visiting again as this could have made dad seriously ill with his age. Maybe St Austell brewery brewery needs to pay more attention to the people they allow to run their pubs as although they are landlords, they are a face of the brewery and should know how to serve their beer/food properly

Until our last visit I would have given this a 4 or 5 higher star. There was a mix up with our food order which wasn't an issue as it was corrected obligingly by the pleasant lady behind the bar. Unfortunately the rather irate landlady came storming over to our table while we were still eating (unprofessional) telling us the young kitchen girl was in tears over this. We think she probably upset the young lady herself and all she was really worried about was that she thought we hadn't paid the correct price for 2 of our 6 meals and when she realised we had she said "that's alright then".

Usually very good but last night was the worst.the fish batter was soaked in oil,and when I removed all the batter there was something white and slimy inside.definitely not fish.service was oh so slow,just took forever.The steak was under cooked, order Ed medium rare and got raw.

We specifally went to this pub for sky sports and lunch.on arriving it was motorbike racing showing.got a drink an asked lanlord if he putting football on.he grunted theres only 6 laps of racing left,an he will put it on.we orderd food which was average he then turned over after five minutes missed kick off.i told my husband the lanlord just keeps staring felt uncomfotable while eating.i find him dirty an just got out of bed looking and very rude an arragant will not be going back the only nice thing is the punters.
