Not great , fish very greasy, dark brown fat! Special fried rice..terrible..prawn crackers very old like cardboard! Very disappointed again!!

This has to be one of the best Chinese takeaways in Blackpool, an extensive choice of delicious food, reasonably priced, fantastically portioned. This is also doubles up to me as the best English chippy in Blackpool serving all traditional chip shop food. Long live the Evergreen!!!!

Read some of the reviews for this place. We've been using it for 15 years plus. Had a few issues with telephone orders but the food has always been very good. Problems we had with orders were always rectified very quickly. Would recommend. Very friendly staff and very good service

Every couple of years I think, surely they’ve sacked her and give them the benefit of the chance. It seems that i’m the bigger idiot for thinking that. No matter how many orders she messes up she seems bulletproof. This evenings excuse, I read it back to you! Yes and you still got it wrong. Sliced beef is t crispy shredded beef. One seaweed isn’t two is it? No I can sort it but there’s two deliveries ahead of you but we’ll only replace the beef isn’t good enough. Don’t eat anything while I pretend the manager isn’t here isn’t an option. The lot is cold! It ok we’ll just replace the beef? We no my chicken fried rice is cold! It’s fine. Seriously it cold and I can’t reheat chicken. Manager now comes on reiterating the same rubbish then asked me to collect after I’ve paid for delivery. Never again. Refund taken. Jog on.

This place has gone down and down hav eaten here for many years but new owner have changed it so much have try quite a few meal with new owners but all bad want be using it again horrible food

Ordered take away. Chips overcooked, not crisp. Batter on fish like armour plating. . Used for many years but never again.

Special curry a lot better now new people took over ,last women there was a right misery,will be going back again now.

Used this takeaway for years yesterday worst Chinese I’ve ever had chicken balls over cooked sauces changed chips all bits over cooked forgot part of order never going back!

The food is okay.... but the woman is so rude and is often horrible to her staff, I deffo liked it better with the old staff

We haven't ordered from Evergreen for a few years now,it changed hands we think back then. We thought we would go try again,,really glad we did!!!! Great curry and the best proper chippy chips around here! We will recommend and return, ,we have missed good Chinese food!! Big G.

We have just had the worst take away from here and will not be returning, order was taken incorrectly on phone, called back to confirm and was informed order would be changed. Food arrived and order was still wrong and not as hot as usual, called to inform them order was wrong and was informed missing food would be sent out, called again as was still waiting for missing food, after 15 minutes of keeping food warm items arrived and was awful. This on top of last time receiving incorrect order and a very angry call from the person whose food we had, not impressed with the other customer having our contact details on our order at their house.

Lovely food would not order from any other x always ask for my wings with extra garlic and chilli they do it every time x I would recommend the Guyang beef too x polite staff and a very hot delivery man is he single evergreen ??

I had crab soup and spring rolls and they were very nice. They got lots of variety in menus and to choose from.

La orden estaba equivocado y todavía nos echaron luego nos habló en una forma grosera. No REPITO NO VAYAS! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! . . . . . . Además la comida es asquerosa.

Used to love this place then I moved out of the area. Went to a different local Chinese but it wasn't the same. Luckily we found out New Evergreen delivers to us so we went back. Really really nice food always hot even from delivery, the portions are big and the quality is there. I am dustbin so I usually bump my meal up to a large (which is massive!) and the deal they offer with a main and a side inclusive in the price is pretty good value for money. Never had a bad meal from there.

Had chinese and fish and chips delivered food was delicious everyone seemed to enjoy it will definitely be ordering again next time I'm in blackpool

I have been using this takeaway for 15 years, I can honestly say they give you way too many chips for £1.40. I can never eat all the chips on my own and have on many occasions split the chips into 2 or 3 to share with family. Always prefer to buy chips from here than anywhere else. The other foods are lovely too. Oh and the gravy they give out too is very tasty.

when i read some of these reviews its like another place rather than the one i have been using for over 20 years.in all that tine ive probaly had one bad meal a couple of issues with delivery time and everything else has been very good.the duck and chilli ribs are the best ive had in blackpool.ordred last night and it was delivered 12 minutes later.also the polish delivery man is such a great bloke,even the fish and chips are good am sure if they opened up the restaurant area that would be busy.

I have been visiting this Chinese/Chip Shop for as long as I can remember, my Nan remembers the time you could even sit and eat in!! Every Friday me and my Nan and/or friends eat from here. Very reasonable prices, food is always delicious & the staff are lovely. I would recommend :)

Would never go back ordered chicken curry and the chicken was minging looked black had to leave the chicken out of it as it put me off!!!! Also had "mushy peas" in the order which i had to mash myself!!! Not impressed

I though it was the chicken that my brother got ill from, it wasn't, it was the water, at the time he ordered the food there was a water scare (Or afterwards).

Have ordered a few times rang up tonight and they said they were going to charge us for delivery fine no problem they then put the phone down on me I rang back and she said it was too far and put the phone down on me again! Never going here again!

I like this place, but once my brother ordered chicken, he didn't get what he wanted correctly and now he has gastroenteritis :( (Chicken contains more salmonella nowadays)

having to wait over an hour for food when they say it will be 30 to 40 mins constantly lying when you phone them to complain . oh he only be 3 minute the delivery driver is stuck in traffic when he is still stood in the shop and the food is just warm and not that good would give it a miss not worth the grief

love the fried rice , curry and chips, and the noodles very tasty and good , friendly service. use this take away regularly and i is always valued for money.

I order crispy beef and it wasnt crispy it was tasteless the prawn toast was hard and the chips wasnt cooked!! I will never order from there again

This is a take-away and not an eat in restaurant...but the Chinese food is well worth taking away. Yummy curry.
