Set meal for 2 is incredible, portion sizes are generous! And it was delivered within 30 minutes. Love this place

Called in for chips and and gravy and chips and curry. Very tasteless, seemed like the sauce's had been watered down. It used to be a very good chippy a few years back.

First and last time trying this place. 2 lots of fish, both soggy and bland. Asked for gravy was given curry which I'm allergic to. Definitely don't recommend wasting your money here 🤢🤮

We had a delivery of 3 separate meals and all were delicious and delivery man was friendly would use again

We have just had a takeaway delivered from the New Big Lamp, Shaw. The food was nice and hot, and the delivery driver was friendly and polite. We had 3 different meals, chips, fried rice, ribs, and prawn crackers. The amount, and quality of food was superb, and cannot be faulted in any way, and the prices are reasonable. We live in Royton and are surrounded by Chinese takeaways, but this was easily the nicest we've had in many years!... Definitely our new 'Go-to' Chinese! Thankyou, will be using you again very soon!! 👌

Quite disappointed. Salt & pepper chips tasted of nothing & very soggy. Korean chicken pieces were chewy however the sauce tasted nice. Very average food.

AWFUL - Food delivery after 90 minutes, crispy beef in sweet chilli sauce tastes of vinegar! Chow mein awful , all inedible, rang to complain and lady said ok don’t order from us again!!!!

Worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had, I will never go there again

We have chinese every Saturday,this place has got to be the worse by far,not only did they forget the chips when I rang numerous of times no answer,but the food was so bland 😞 gutted as we look forward to a Chinese on a Saturday night

I had chicken cashew nuts with skinny noodles, well worth trying out.

Went here as it was empty and now I know why. Gravy had no taste to it. Large portion of chips was the same size as every other takeaways regular size. Salt & Pepper Chicken tasted like wet dog. Expensive rubbish. Avoid.

Ordered satay chicken with salt and pepper chips. The chicken was very dry and the sauce didn't taste very satay like. The s & p chips were overly peppery.

What a surprise. I came here from Newcastle to visit my parents, and I just found a Chinese takeaway shop and ordered it like this one. I really didn’t expect to be able to get back the taste of Chinese food when I was a child. I must come back for Christmas.

Ordered fish and chips the fish was awful cooked in back room which I thought was bit dodgy. Fish was grey .when I asked lady what fish it was she said cod .I said no can't be .she became very rude .and dismissed my complaint .no offer of refund .Will never go again disgusting food .staff very rude ..

Diabolical customer service. I made a legitimate complaint the the food was barely warm . We have ordered from here for 4 years. Never complained. When I rang the lady who answers the phone handed the phone over to a rather rude angry chef who insisted it was hot. After I explained that it wasn't he became very agitated and so I asked him what he would like to do to correct the problem. He put the phone down. I ordered £35 worth of food. Won't be spending another penny in there again !

Had a meal tonight was not impressed fish was very thin, the batter was dry hard and fried at to high of a heat, the king prawn satay was very runny quite tasteless will not be returning avoid if possible

I thought i would try it and unfornatly it was horrible I got salt and pepper ribs and it was not worth £5.50. It also says on the door it's closes at 8.30pm n they closed at 8.10pm and people wanted a chippy tea

Definitely the best Chinese Take Away in the area. The Salt and Pepper Chicken Pieces are always amazing. Always super quick delivery and piping hot when it arrives.

Probably the best Chinese Chippy in Shaw.

A lot of people I know was going on about this chippy and so I ordered the salt and pepper share box. It came pretty quick on delivery I’ll give you that. Food was alright. let down for me and my husband because the food was very greasy. You could see the grease on the box like. I know all food is greasy but this wasn’t nice. We ate what we could and binned a lot of it. I was poorly for 3 days after this. I was up all night vomiting. I wouldn’t be going back to this chippy at all after the first experience of tasting it. I’ll just stick to my usual local one in the future.
