The Moreton Arms in Wrexham

The food was nicely presented. I had a nice vegetarian meal, but my companion had ordered a burger which he couldn't cut through as it was thick and tough, we ended up taking it home for the dogs. Staff friendly, environment ok, it was just a bit noisy the day we went. Suggest people try it when they pass and make their own judgements though as you may get a really nice meal.

Domingo almuerzo llamado aquí. . Muchos coches en el aparcamiento. . . Asientos. encantador y agradable y cálido. Pedimos la comida para 2 por 10 libras. 00. . Salchichas y puré de patatas.. . Chili y arroz. . . Las comidas eran encantador de buena calidad salchichas con puré cremoso, chili fue simplemente excelente uno de los mejores. . . . El personal muy agradable y extremadamente eficiente. Buena suerte a la nueva dirección. . . . Sin duda volveremos. . . .

Twice we have been,twice we could not get any service. Please go to the garden center the service thier is so much better and less stressful. The first time we went for breakfast on the way to south Wales, this is open from 09.00 to 12.00. We arrived at 11.00. We being two couples. The waiter told us they stopped serving breakfasts. We pointed out that the signage said 12.00. He said he would aak the chef if we might be fed.after waiting 20 mins, we decided to go the cafe in the garden center, which gave exalant service, the second time was 13 September 2016, about 16.00 hours, we like to give a second chance,there were four couple's in a restaurant that seats about 100 people, we waited 20 mins for a drink, which never came , and ordered soup and a sandwich, which never came, hence we left after 30 min's thirsty ands hungery, the other people are proberbly still waiting we left never to return again.

Es una pena ver las críticas negativas aquí como mi pareja y yo ir con bastante regularidad y la comida siempre ha sido encantador. Mi único problema es con el personal de la cocina jugando su propio contento hardcore y euro pop ish música más ruidosa que la música de pub. El personal es amable y siempre disfrutar de ahí que seguimos regresando.

No vendría aquí de nuevo. Se suponía que era un hotel pero al entrar al salón nos encontramos con un letrero que dice esperar para que nos sentaran. No está mal, pero cuando lo suficientemente personal parece más de 5 minutos que nos fuimos. Usted no puede sentarse aquí sólo por una copa, que me pareció un salón en un pub. Sólo un par de personas y sentí que quería algo con más ambiente que aquí no había ninguno. También durante la espera ninguno mostrando personal notado cubiertos y plato de tela de dumping en el bar a la izquierda. Como era tan tranquilo que me esperaba que esto nunca debería haber pasado como a los empleados bajo presión. No es un lugar que volveré a

Tidy eating area,comfortable,bright with vista onto a grassed children's play area and lawn. Waitress,the manager,had an excuse for everything we pointed out that could have been better. The lemon and lime drinks lacked any flavour or appearance of lime, the cutlery hadn't been wiped,so I did it myself to remove the stains of the dishwashing water,the salmon dish arrived with a small portion of peas ,with salmon perched on five small new potatoes,no other veg,just sauce,quite nice . I asked if I could have more potatoes ,told none left but could have some chips...waitress then came with more new potatoes they'd found. The chips were dead,over cooked,more like overdone oven chips,chewy....the fish batter was well overcooked....there were five of us and no one was happy with their meals for one or more reasons. The manager excused everything via overwork and people not turning up to work and even not the usual chef so he didn't know his way round the kitchen. No suggestion of a free meal next time or a free drink or pudding this time. Very disappointed.everything was supposed to be hand prepared and cooked,but the salad served with the scampi meals was clearly old and out of a packet,brown bits of lettuce and all.The scampi was luke warm.We pointed out everything to the manageress,even the bit of blue vein cheese clinging to a brown piece of dead lettuce! We will not be returning.

Slice of salmon FOUR potatoes £10.95! Salad BAG dried leaves date. COLD scampi. OVERDONE batter.All in all when complaining an EXCUSE was given for all these above things like the lady had learnt the excuses off by heart. She was more concerned with moaning to us about the very busy day SHE had had and the fact her sister had come and she had spent no time with her. VERY disappointing. Shall definitely not be returning.

Recently refurbished and, I understand,with new management in place. After all the activity in recent weeks - the refurbishment is certainly underwhelming! Not a good start to our visit when the waitress announced that a cup of tea wasn't possible because they'd run out of milk! (there'a a Co-op supermarket almost across the road). Similarly a wait of almost 20 minutes for a pint of beer - apparently due to work being carried out on pipework. Service was OK but the food was dire. The mushroom en croute was described as garlic mushrooms with a stilton crust but in reality was mushrooms on toast with a sort of gloopy cheese sauce - looked particularly unappetising. The steak and ale pie had been cooked to the extent that it had dried out without a trace of gravy but the pastry top was undercooked. The chips were described by the waitress as "home made" but were more akin to frozen chips. (the menu actually stated "hand cut chips" ). This area isn't over-endowed with good eating places and this establishment must rate as one not worthy of a repeat visit!

Looked nice as we were passing so decided to stop for a drink,the outside was much better than the atmosphere inside very unwelcoming poor service and drinks overpriced.

Just been there for food. Great food at reasonable prices. Great service too. Superb. Will be there again next week. Well done.

Visited this pub after a 16 mile very long walk and was looking forward to a decent meal. Very disappointed we order a 3 sausage onion barm & a burger with salad and a plate of large chips. Cheap sausages, cheap burger meat all served in cheap thick white barms the chips where scrappy and greasy Oh and no salad. Would of been better eating back in the caravan. The condiment's need cleaning up and the wooden spoon with your number on certainly deserves a wooden spoon for serving up this food 3/10

My daughter and boyfriend eat here every Wednesday and the Landlady always changes the tv channel for them to watch "Corrie", They have taken us there on a couple of occasions and we can't fault the food and portion sizes. Our last visit was a few weeks ago on a Sunday and they cooked a nut roast for me (non meat eater!) and vegie gravy. I had the same vegetables as everyone else and these were deliciously freshly cooked and not swimming in butter, as most places do!! The nut roast and gravy were reeeeally yummie! and they stock a lovely red wine! I can honestly say this was one of the best meals I have eaten!!
