What a great place to dine! We came for a quiet "date night" meal for our anniversary and we were immediately impressed by the friendliest staff possible and the clean modern decor. We had the 6 course meal option which is as extensive as it sounds and fabulous value. The food was served hot and fresh, and despite there being a mistake with one of our mains (we were given someone else's meal by accident) this was easily rectified for both us and the other person straight away and apologies given. However I can't fault them, it was the same sauce just a different meat option which is human error and well, we're all human! We are hoping to return as soon as possible as a family, so that we can all enjoy a good meal and family time together. Thank you The Monarch Spice, we will be coming back 😊 *UPDATE* We've gone back to The Monarch Spice many times since I wrote the above review and OMG it is still amazing! We have celebrated special occasions and had quiet meals. Tonight my daughter wanted to have her 21st birthday meal and it was wonderful. The staff were so good and they even set the table up with balloons as a gift. Several of our party had not been here before and have taken menus away with them for future takeaways and have said that they will come back too. Thanks again Monarch Spice, you are now our favourite place to eat out.

Lovely food, friendly staff, and great service. It was very busy when we were here on our most recent visit, but the usual, great standards were still maintained. A well run establishment that deserves success. Highly recommended 👌

We went for a meal tonight and must say how blown away we were with the whole experiance. the decor is modern and stylish, comfortable seating. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming, very attentive too, they really give you a 5* service. The food is fantastic so much flavour and you can tell its fresh ingredients too. Bombay Aloo - best one I have ever had anywhere, & cream coffe is just sooo good too. We did the 6 course menu deal for 16.95 (Poppadum, 1 starter, 1 main, rice or naan, side dish of bombay aloo and tea or coffee) We were so pleased with our food, and what a great price too. The prices are fantastic too and the food is great. if you want a great meal for a great price I can safely say I highly recommend. I have found my new go to Indian resturant

Only been open since May 2023, but already established itself as one of (if not) the best balti houses in Kidderminster. Lovely decor, nice relaxed ambience, excellent choice of food at sensible prices all topped off with 1st class professional customer service (and you can bring your own booze, which is a total bonus). Well worth a visit.

Our first visit to Monarch Spice Saturday night was an experience beyond our normal expectations. This restaurant has it all, excellent staff, cusine, pricing and atmosphere. Unfortunately, other local restaurants fall far short of this and could learn a lot from the proprietor of Monarch Spice. Our experience was top notch all evening. Our meals and service could not be faulted by even the most exacting customer ( ME ) Take your own alcohol and enjoy the six courses set price deal for a perfect evening out, we hope to return shortly. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Monarch Spice.

Last night was our first visit to Monarch Spice and it was definitely a 5 stars experience. Very clean and modern, beautifully decorated, very polite and attentive staff, gorgeous food and amazing value. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Incredibly good food in a lovely, modern setting. Not too big, not too small. A family run restaurant. They are all very friendly and helpful. This was our second visit. All the food we had was obviously freshly prepared, and very, very tasty. I'm not normally a biryani person, but one of our first visit party - had biryani, I tried it and was blown away by the amazing flavours Second visit, i had the biryani... Still stunning. I've never eaten a biryani so good!! Great job Monarch Spice! Very highly recommended.

The four of us had four different dishes, and all four had delicious food. Nobody thought they had missed out.

Last night 8 of us paid our first visit to the restaurant. Honestly cannot fault any aspect of our evening. Very friendly and efficient service. Lovely food at a great price. Will be our "go to" from now on!

Tonight's take away.......very disappointing. incomplete order, when i called it was "can you come and fetch"! We paid for delivery so no!! Fish pakora not cooked - had to reheat in microwave as waited for the rest of order to be delivered, which prob didn't help. Soggy and tasteless. Delivery driver was the best thing about the experience, nice pleasant young man.

We loved this place, couldn't find 1 fault, food was really tasty and good portions, waiters were attentive and courteous. Price was really good value too. All in all PERFECT - well done Monarch!

Our first time using Monarch Spice and absolutely loved the food, tasty and was delivered hot (temperature) and in good time , loved the added extras and was a brilliant price. Will be using Monarch Spice for our Indian takeaways in future

First visit to Monarch and glad we did. We had a take away. I always gauge a good restaurant on the freshness of their food when they supply a take away. Past with flying colours! I had the mixed tandoori starter to gauge the tandoor standards and it was lovely. The chicken tikka was perfect for me, moist and a little heat off spice. Next test was my go to curry, the Madras. I always have chicken tikka, for flavour. Not let down here either, perfect spice heat, rich and perfect thickness of sauce. My rice and garlic naan were top standard too. Most importantly you passed the exacting standards of my partner. She does not explore menus she sticks to what she knows. Her chicken biryani was excellent. The words came from her mouth, more importantly she eat the lot. Trust me that says it all, she will use the bin rather than think of cost. See you again, that says it all.

Nice tasty meal, service was excellent, very busy, and tables crowded together, which made it a little too tight. Overall, it was a nice evening, and I would go back, but at quieter times.

The food arrived on time but was average for the most part. I asked for the basic chicken curry for my young child to be made mild and without cow’s milk or soya, as they said on the phone this was something they could easily do. What arrived was chunks of chicken in brown water - I’m not really sure what happened, I can only assume they realised late that the sauce had an allergen in and tried to improvise something last second, but it was terrible, especially for over £8. The other meals were alright but we’ve had better elsewhere for a similar price, so due to this and the botched chicken curry, we won’t be ordering again.

This was the second time I've been to this gem of a restaurant. Opted for the meal deal. For the bargain price of £16.99 (from memory) you get 6 courses; poppadoms, main, rice or naan, veggie side, and choice of tea or coffee. The food was fantastic and the service from the staff was top notch. Honestly, I can't recommend this place highly enough.

We had a takeout tonight, it was super bland and watery. It’s a shame as we had a takeout when it opened and it was great, all the food tonight was forgettable. The staff were pleasant however, but I can’t recommend.

Awful, owner only interested in taking our money. Large group of loud, drunk people making the place a zoo. Owner and staff uninterested. Will not be returning. Avoid. If I could give zero stars, I would ....1 star for curry!

Nicest, we have had for a while.

The food was excellent only one criticism was the speed at which the meals arrived as there was a group of ten they seemed to bring the meals out one at a time which led to some people eating while the others were waiting I would suggest investing in a trolley or two to make that a bit smoother not worth knocking a star off for though.

What a lovely manager, who provided samosa’s etc free of charge to one of the school nurses last day. So recommended they were amazing. We were all so grateful and really felt valued from such kindness. Thank you again.

Had to try out as the reviews looked good, We had a takeaway and u must say it was very good ,the restaurant was very clean and bright which I really liked as many can be very dark and you wonder what you are eating, very pleasant staff and very good value for money I must say looking at how many people were eating o would definitely book before you go. I used this restaurant a month ago for the first time and had a sit in meal The food was great value and not a bad meal at all . We have started using for takeaways. The only thing is the price of soft drinks apart from that i would highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything was amazing. Our first visit but most definitely not our last. A lovely treat for our friends birthday 🎂. Please be aware that the portions are huge. I had to take half of mine home. Superb.

Been getting the lamb pathia for 3 weekends in a row, was brilliant every time, ordered tonight and it was like there was half a box of chilli in it, completely ruined the meal couldn’t even eat more than 2 mouthfuls don’t know what happened ?

Nice food , nice staff and take your own drinks is a bonus , about £9 for a traditional curry or £16 for 4 course

We were invited to go as part of a group. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The plus points were you could take your own drinks and the meal deal at £16.95 was good value so if you're on a budget or eat out frequently this may suit your needs.

Bengal jalfa is the one for me best curry I ever had full of flavour, this is my go to curry house now naan chapati and roti all lovely aswell the staff are brilliant so friendly and helpful I recommend this curry house to anyone

Fab food as always however the Bombay aloo was not worth £4.95! You only get about 4 small potatoes!!

Really lovely place. It’s very clean and fresh as it’s recently refurbished. The staff are immaculate and smartly dressed, with keen attention to detail. The owner is visible and on hand to offer a warm welcome and great service along with his staff. As vegetarians, the food was so good. Exceptional, in fact. The best curries we’ve had in years and certainly the best locally. What I loved is that every dish tasted quite different, and really freshly made. Often, I find most curries are quite similar in taste, even when being advertised as a different recipe with different spices etc, so in an order you’ll see the table’s meals all looking quite similar. Not here! Really delicious and fresh-tasting, not greasy either. The prices are also great value. And it makes so much difference being able to bring your own booze, as the place isn’t licensed. It saves so much money! There was a slight wait in between courses but the restaurant was busy and the food was excellent and piping hot as it came out, so it felt like it was all cooked to order rather than reheated bhajis that had been fried earlier in the day etc. And I barely noticed the wait as I was having a nice evening. I wish The Monarch Spice every success. They deserve it! We will be back, and with more family and friends next time!
