First time trying the monarch The staff were friendly,polite,attentive couldn't do enough for you,the £16.95 meal me and my partner had was amazing,cooked how we wanted it,very fresh and hot can't fault the food,the atmosphere and above all the the lovely staff,hidden gem definitely will be going again very soon,portions were that big we ended up taking some home with us,definitely recommend this place

First time eating here, came for our Wedding anniversary. The staff were brilliant happy and helpful making it a very enjoyable atmosphere. The food tasted beautiful and very well presented. Will definitely come again and I recommend others to try it too.

We had a large takeaway meal for 6 people just after Christmas day, and it was stunning! I would recommend the King Prawn madras, as it was one of the best I've had in a long time. Spicy, incredibly tasty and beautifully rich. The rice selections, and other curries were all reported to be just as good as mine. The breads were also perfect, good sizes and a combination of crispy and doughy in the right places 👍🏼 Very, very happy.

What a great place to dine! We came for a quiet "date night" meal for our anniversary and we were immediately impressed by the friendliest staff possible and the clean modern decor. We had the 6 course meal option which is as extensive as it sounds and fabulous value. The food was served hot and fresh, and despite there being a mistake with one of our mains (we were given someone else's meal by accident) this was easily rectified for both us and the other person straight away and apologies given. However I can't fault them, it was the same sauce just a different meat option which is human error and well, we're all human! We are hoping to return as soon as possible as a family, so that we can all enjoy a good meal and family time together. Thank you The Monarch Spice, we will be coming back 😊 *UPDATE* We've gone back to The Monarch Spice many times since I wrote the above review and OMG it is still amazing! We have celebrated special occasions and had quiet meals. Tonight my daughter wanted to have her 21st birthday meal and it was wonderful. The staff were so good and they even set the table up with balloons as a gift. Several of our party had not been here before and have taken menus away with them for future takeaways and have said that they will come back too. Thanks again Monarch Spice, you are now our favourite place to eat out. 2nd UPDATE* desserts are now on the menu! Choices include traditional kulfi, ice cream and cheesecake amongst other things.

Our most favourite Indian restaurant, never fails to deliver the best service. Very efficient, professional and lovely staff and food is delicious.

Usually great from here but this time food was lukewarm, very little chicken in the Bhuna, and the Nan bread was half the size and doughy, very much like those from a supermarket. Not the best experience

driver delivered food after spilling the main and said he would return with it, over an hour later and nothing.

Extremely disappointed. Ordered food at 6.10pm. Didn’t arrive until 8.10pm! When it eventually arrived it was cold. Won’t be ordering again.

We went for a meal tonight and must say how blown away we were with the whole experiance. the decor is modern and stylish, comfortable seating. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming, very attentive too, they really give you a 5* service. The food is fantastic so much flavour and you can tell its fresh ingredients too. Bombay Aloo - best one I have ever had anywhere, & cream coffe is just sooo good too. We did the 6 course menu deal for 16.95 (Poppadum, 1 starter, 1 main, rice or naan, side dish of bombay aloo and tea or coffee) We were so pleased with our food, and what a great price too. The prices are fantastic too and the food is great. if you want a great meal for a great price I can safely say I highly recommend. I have found my new go to Indian resturant

Only been open since May 2023, but already established itself as one of (if not) the best balti houses in Kidderminster. Lovely decor, nice relaxed ambience, excellent choice of food at sensible prices all topped off with 1st class professional customer service (and you can bring your own booze, which is a total bonus). Well worth a visit.

Our first visit to Monarch Spice Saturday night was an experience beyond our normal expectations. This restaurant has it all, excellent staff, cusine, pricing and atmosphere. Unfortunately, other local restaurants fall far short of this and could learn a lot from the proprietor of Monarch Spice. Our experience was top notch all evening. Our meals and service could not be faulted by even the most exacting customer ( ME ) Take your own alcohol and enjoy the six courses set price deal for a perfect evening out, we hope to return shortly. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Monarch Spice.

Last night was our first visit to Monarch Spice and it was definitely a 5 stars experience. Very clean and modern, beautifully decorated, very polite and attentive staff, gorgeous food and amazing value. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Incredibly good food in a lovely, modern setting. Not too big, not too small. A family run restaurant. They are all very friendly and helpful. This was our second visit. All the food we had was obviously freshly prepared, and very, very tasty. I'm not normally a biryani person, but one of our first visit party - had biryani, I tried it and was blown away by the amazing flavours Second visit, i had the biryani... Still stunning. I've never eaten a biryani so good!! Great job Monarch Spice! Very highly recommended.

Have had takeaway a couple of times before and has been excellent, unfortunately not tonight. Incomplete order and bland food. Very disappointing. The friendly delvery drive was the only plus.

Tonight's take away.......very disappointing. incomplete order, when i called it was "can you come and fetch"! We paid for delivery so no!! Fish pakora not cooked - had to reheat in microwave as waited for the rest of order to be delivered, which prob didn't help. Soggy and tasteless. Delivery driver was the best thing about the experience, nice pleasant young man.

We loved this place, couldn't find 1 fault, food was really tasty and good portions, waiters were attentive and courteous. Price was really good value too. All in all PERFECT - well done Monarch!

Our first time using Monarch Spice and absolutely loved the food, tasty and was delivered hot (temperature) and in good time , loved the added extras and was a brilliant price. Will be using Monarch Spice for our Indian takeaways in future

First visit to Monarch and glad we did. We had a take away. I always gauge a good restaurant on the freshness of their food when they supply a take away. Past with flying colours! I had the mixed tandoori starter to gauge the tandoor standards and it was lovely. The chicken tikka was perfect for me, moist and a little heat off spice. Next test was my go to curry, the Madras. I always have chicken tikka, for flavour. Not let down here either, perfect spice heat, rich and perfect thickness of sauce. My rice and garlic naan were top standard too. Most importantly you passed the exacting standards of my partner. She does not explore menus she sticks to what she knows. Her chicken biryani was excellent. The words came from her mouth, more importantly she eat the lot. Trust me that says it all, she will use the bin rather than think of cost. See you again, that says it all.

The food arrived on time but was average for the most part. I asked for the basic chicken curry for my young child to be made mild and without cow’s milk or soya, as they said on the phone this was something they could easily do. What arrived was chunks of chicken in brown water - I’m not really sure what happened, I can only assume they realised late that the sauce had an allergen in and tried to improvise something last second, but it was terrible, especially for over £8. The other meals were alright but we’ve had better elsewhere for a similar price, so due to this and the botched chicken curry, we won’t be ordering again.

For the bargain price of £16.99 (from memory) you get 6 courses; poppadoms, main, rice or naan, veggie side, and choice of tea or coffee. The food was fantastic and the service from the staff was top notch. Honestly, I can't recommend this place highly enough.
