The mokapot house in Hackney

This spot has excellent coffee and food. Being from Melbourne Australia we are quite fussy with our coffee and this little gem certainly delivers all that. Very friendly staff.

This is a really lovely spot to do some work and catch up on some emails on a Friday. It's a lovely atmosphere, the drinks are great and the food is delicious and fresh and good value. There was an elderly lady here today for a few hours reading her book and to see just how caring and attentive the staff were with her was so heartwarming. I never usually write reviews but wanted to here, they really deserve it. I've also been on a Sunday for a fry up and it was delicious. Will definitely be back again.

Super quality food & helpful We popped by on our way to St Paul’s Cathedral Gluten free and vegan pastries available, important to one of our group Savoury breakfast options looked wonderful although we were taken by the delicious pastries Absolutely recommend

Great place! Lots of sandwich choices. We had toasted paninnis which were really tasty and very generous fillings. Had them with the salad bowls for the meal deal, great value. The pastries looked really nice, will have to try next time!

I popped into mokapot today to get a quick lunch on my break, only to find out i left my bank card at home, the lovely brothers were kind enough to let me take my food even though i was mortified, they still served me in good faith as i promised them i will be returning the next day to make payment. And the sandwhich was super filling and tasted great too:)

Just the window display it self is a triumph and guaranteed to pull in passing punters. Once inside the display of sandwiches, Wraps and Salads are amazing and all fresh. I only had a Cappuccino and a Cinnamon bun ( ok I lied, I had an Almond croissant as well), both delicious and Cappuccino was great too. Apparently they have just opened here in Watling St near St Paul’s, I expect to see queues at the door at lunchtimes. Very friendly guys too which is really nice. Well done and see you again very soon!!

My husband and I popped in for breakfast during our anniversary weekend away and so very glad we did - amazing breakfast, charming owners/servers and a quaint setting. Would really recommend

My favourite spot in lower Clapton, very friendly staff and good atmosphere,recomend the sandwiches in flat bread and the cakes are delicious

Today I came and had the little offer they have, which is the sandwich with salad for £7.50 which is the best deal u could ever recommend and a very good customer service by the young boy. I really recommend for everyone to visit this place

This place is around the corner from home, which makes me super happy! I often come in at least once a week for breakfast and great coffee. I work from home once a week so I start my day in here. Food is always fresh and delicious. Great portion sizes. Coffee is great (and I’m a coffee snob). They do great vegan and gluten free options (my coeliac Mum visited and we got her lunch and cakes her - a happy Mum). If you’re in the area definitely try it out.

Stopped here for a late brunch. Food is freshly prepared, well seasoned and elegantly presented. Three of us sampled different plates all equally well prepared. Relaxed atmosphere, comfortable and pleasant.
