The super friendly bartender couldn't do enough for us. She went out of her way to assist us to the disabled parking space and helped us be seated. Great asset to the pub. Such a warm atmosphere. Everyone was so polite and friendly. Quickly served too. Fabulous, 5 stars all round!

Small, cosy bar with lots of outdoor seating. A very warm welcome from staff who brought iced water out for our dog.

Proper choice of beer and great friendly bar staff. Ended up stopping much longer than we had planned which has to be a good sign.

Beer was very expensive: nearly £6 for two halfs so much more than Fat Cat or Kelham Tavern. Very cold ale so not great compared to it's competition either. All in all disappointed.

Pleasant pub at the Kelham Island museum. One downside is there are no toilets you have to go to the museum.

Me,my wife and some friends called here one Saturday afternoon for drinks and we all had a lovely relaxing experience with very friendly bar staff.

Great pub, good food and a proper pint if IPA

Fabulous place! I was on a Kelham Island Food Tour (17/05/2024) and this was one of the places we visited. It's almost hidden within the Kelham Island Museum and you really wouldn't know it was there unless directed to it. Inside, it's decked-out as a 'proper', traditional pub should be. AWESOME onion bhajis and the Abbeydale Breweries 'Moonshine Bitter' matched them PERFECTLY. It's just a shame we couldn't have stayed for (many) more! As Arnie would say: "I'll be back!"

Nice real Ale bar, tucked away in the grounds of Kelham Museum. Well worth searching for and nice outside area when the weather is good. Well staffed with pleasant folk. Very nice. 😊

Writing a review as there haven't been many lately, but this place is definitely still open. Walk through the museum gates to a pub by the river. Attractive interior using the heritage building well with its pillars and exposed brickwork, but quite cosy and well fitted. Drinks selection good rather than outstanding, but covers bases OK, some amenities like board games etc and outdoor seating in summer which looks like it will be good. Worth taking a visit here.

The Millowners Arms is an outdoor lit pub on the grounds of Kelham Island Museum. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed when we were there.

Wanted to dine here, couldn't find any contact number for them. Found some menus / small plates online. When we entered were advised that food wasn't being served. Just looked like a place for real ale drinkers. Shame because we had heard good reviews about the food. Need to be clearer on what is offered and when.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch here today.and the girls who served us were really lovely.Very friendly and cheerful.

Rude, disorganised, belligerent staff. Some of the worst service I’ve experienced in Sheffield Waited 15 mins at the bar directing staff to customers who'd been waiting longer than myself only to be continually passed when it came to my turn. When other waiting customers pointed out the issue the member staff serving chose to actively make a point of refusing to speak to or serve anyone other than the couple that had just arrived ignoring everyone who’d been waiting far longer. Even the couple being served asked to let others go first which he refused to do causing them needless embarrassment. In the time I waited I watched more people leave angrily without a drink than I saw get served. By most pub's standards this wasn't even a busy night the staff just weren’t organised well enough and weren’t communicating with each other. Utter shambles. Save your money, there are plenty of better options nearby in Kelham

Here during Sheffield Beer Festival. Squawk brewery take over, excellent, well kept beers. Food was just what you want at a beer festival. Now separate from museum. Barman also doing an excellent job, cleaning tables after customers have left and frequently doing the same with the bar.

Great old world ambiance and fabulous beers. Adjacent to Kelham museum. Must visit if you like traditional pubs.

Lovely historical pub with an interesting interior. Goes well with the adjacent museum. But we liked some of the nearby pubs better.

A great pub tucked away in Kelham Island. Well worth paying a visit for the great beer and a nice atmosphere. We visited in the summer and they had a great outside space. I can't recommend this pub enough.

Excellent bar within the museum

Update 2022 - My below review still stands! Excellent pub. They don't have Club Tropicana on tap anymore but they're always getting in different beers, sours, IPAs, etc. So it's perfect if you like craft lagers. I've tried the food recently too and it did not disappoint. They have some great burgers and loaded fries varieties. Original review... Love this place. Awesome staff, really friendly. Great selection of beers (incl. my fave, Tiny Rebel Club Tropicana) and it's dog friendly. The staff were also great with our dog and even brought him some free food, so that we could stay for a few more beers :) Beer garden is huge, plenty of cover in case it rains. Overall, this place is one of my favourites in Sheffield. Not tried the food but definitely will be going to try some soon.

A great addition to Kelham and well worth a visit if you'd much rather a decent pint at a decent price rather than a cocktail that's a similar price to a car... The beer selection is great, whatever mood I'm in I'm covered. The staff are friendly too, and have no problem with you having tasters.

Card only, whats gone wrong with this area of Sheffield where proper money is unacceptable. You do not get this nonsense in the proper North, thankfully.

The staff here are very helpful and go out of their way to ensure your visit is good , this bar has a good choice of beers ,the stout is the best beer I have had during my weekend in Sheffield , thanks to all for making our visit so good

Really good beer and ale selection, we go there for something a little bit different to what other pubs sell. Really friendly and helpful staff. Good vibe.

Took the family for a drink and bite to eat whilst visiting the Kelham Island Museum. Lovely half of IPA, a delicious pie, good music and friendly staff. We were the only ones there. Would love to return when it's bouncing.

Beer choice good...but better nearby. Onion bhaji's are awesome

A dark, cosy destination in Kelham Island, serving delicious pies and a good range of tempting ales from near and far. Heck, they even have a dartboard! Highly recommended.

The barman took the time to actually squeeze the limes for my partners drink. Which, honestly, 99% of bartenders everywhere I've been don't do this. Just a little detail that makes all the difference. Also, the food was amazing. Vegan sausage and fries and bang bang cauliflower were fantastic. Really cosy little place.

This place is bloody excellent. Plays cool music, uses candles for lighting, serves good value food, in a beautifully restored old building

I enjoyed the décor of the place and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They had a good selection of different beer styles including some Belgium beers on tap. It only loses one star for me as the music was quite loud and not to my taste.

Absolutely wonderful food the bbq brisket burger is well worth it's price at less than 11 quid paired with the onion bhargi loaded fries you can't go wrong amazing. And quality ales.

Couldn't stay long but got the impression that a swinging time could be had with more time. Also sells my favourite cider.

Was having a look around Kelham Island and decided to stop by for some food, the lad at the till was very friendly and the food was phenomenal, great place!

Great location and food was off the chart, we shared a mix of stuff and it was all gourmet restaurant grade, the fries were amazing and portion sizes generous, will definitely eat there again when I’m in town.

Fab place we hired it for my son in laws birthday staff were great and very helpful would definitely recommend

Big outdoor space by the river and great food

Never been to see sheffield tigers as we are belle Vue aces fans ,booked in to restaurant Wow loved it. The food roast beef dinner was fantastic so much for the price. If I have to make one criticism it would be its a shame you can't hear the bikes when racing the restaurant area was dead quiet during the race. You heard the commentator but as the tapes went up Dead silence. But great might even if we lost.

Had a very enjoyable lunch here recently. Nice beer too. Would recommend trying.
