Had an incredible night here! The staff are amazing so attentive and kind and they make banging cocktails.

Accessible-ish. Improv is good. Cheaper earlier in the week. A good student bar/pub with better atmosphere than other local bars

Amazing comedy show, The peasoup! I would recommend you to get there on a Monday afternoon!

The show was fantastic. The peasoup comedy is amazing, fun entertainment where the main characters integrate the storyline whilst presenting the show!

Decent beer selection. Enough different spaces that groups aren't on top of each other. Really good staff.

🚇 Borough 🍺 £6.95 Cruzcampo The Miller is located in the backstreets of Borough close to Guy’s hospital. The nearest Tube is Borough and London Bridge. This pub was originally called The Miller of Mansfield, built in the 19th century. The pub was rebuilt in 1965 along with the Kipling council estate in which it was designed to serve. This is a one bar pub that is a good size that has an eclectic quirky feel. The servery is centrally located and is clad in dark panelling with a solid mahogany counter. The bar area has a variety of sections with a different blend of lighting, unique artworks and furniture. The seating is a mix of tall pews, conventional tables and chairs, a couple of Chesterfields and a comfy banquette. Upstairs is @hooplaimpro ,an improv theatre and comedy club. In the basement is a rehearsal studio for bands. To the side of the pub is a patio beer garden. The beer offering mixes mainstream beers with an excellent choice of four cask ales and two real ciders. I decided on a Cruzcampo, my pint hit the spot, price point was expensive. The food menu is burgers, wings, loaded fries and a variety of sides, all burgers cost £11. I arrived at 4pm on a chilly Saturday afternoon in February. The pub had just opened and had a few punters dotted around. The atmosphere was laidback, the dimly lit ambiance made for a comfortable setting. The service was pleasant, I was served by a nice chap who was courteous. The post war built pub is a rare find in London these days. It was great to see that this pub has survived and reimagined itself supporting the arts and local musicians. @themiller.se1 is popular with students and hospital workers at nearby Guy's, so hopefully this aids to the pub’s longevity. This place is great to catch an improv comedy show. Food is pretty good too!

Casual, relaxed pub, with a good vibe. I was drinking the farm ciders last night and they were all great, such a shame that other pubs don't have good cider. I had the loaded chips with vegan pulled pork and it was really great. One of the best pubs in London IMHO

The Miller is nice corner pub that seems to lean towards burgers as their featured menu item. I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the cask conditioned and ate the Tyson Churri Burger which was topped with delicious chimichurri sauce. Also, the garlic-mushroom balls with the scotch bonnet sauce were very tasty.

Good spot, burger and fries for a tenner on a Monday, which was good.

Good choice of beer, great staff, nice food. A bit run down, but some call it atmospheric. Defo worth a visit.

Although a nice bar as anywhere look after your valuables, one of the nights someone had their phone stolen. Been here a couple if times recently for some improv shows, it is a very busy bar especially before a show. It is clear that is is filled with both people leaving work and the other half waiting on the show happening that night. I would highly reccomend the venue dispite the theft, which as I say happens in every venue at some time. The improv from all levels is hillarious and well done, although it is a small above pub theatre it is all put on and performed really well.

Some drinks ok but the music is dangerously loud. Staff didn’t know they had cider other than orchard thieves. Weird for a “real cider” bar. Maybe train?

My go-to pub in South London. 5 stars not because it’s perfect, but because it usually has a much better than average cider selection, offers a range of reasonably priced food deals on burgers and such, and is a great place to chill.

Terribly slow service! We waited over an hour for some burgers. No real explanation or updates given. Had to constantly chase. Staff said they have no jurisdiction over the kitchen. Awful. Do not go here if you want a quick work lunch!

after a decade of going there regularly I've now given up. £45 for two bottles of beers, cold Mac style average burgers, and oversalted chips, served after 40 minutes in an empty pub is nowhere near enjoying your time out. when you read about pub closing down I'm not surprised at all, it's what you actually expect after my visit at the Miller tonight

Wow. This place gets busy. But kudos to the staff for being efficient. And they went the extra mile for me when I requested. I wasn't expecting it. Not typical for pub staff.

Nice staff, good atmosphere, comfy seats

The slap & pickle smash burgers are the best I've had in a long time, thoroughly recommend! Went back today cos they announced on insta that they were doing a new double dip menu but none of the staff knew anything about it. The chips are also very yummy. But the gravy and cheese sauce are very bland don't get the extras.

Great food and drink at this pub near London Bridge. Pleasantly tucked away so it's never overrun by people but still busy. The burgers were great! Service could be better... I got passed over twice at the bar because the bartender's friends were there, and the waitress who brought our burgers was needlessly aggressive about how much she hates the name of the burger I ordered.

Based on a single visit, this place seems pretty decent. Good selection of draught, nice food.

A popular destination which I recommend booking at busy periods. The Miller has a wide selection of craft beers and local ciders. They've got some great fried chicken and dirty fries although this is expensive. But you are in the shadow of the Shard and London Bridge. There is often live comedy and music. In conclusion, a great food and drink destination which is easy to get to.

This is a great down to earth pub - reasonably priced beers, plus a great array of low alcohol beer options (in case that's your thing), friendly + efficient staff, and great food (particularly the chicken burgers). Only 4 stars, as the toilets could sometimes be cleaner and the hot water taps can sometimes be insanely hot (almost seems near boiling, as yesterday I hurt my hand by simply touching the top of the tap handle)

Barmaid farted on us twice Visited here with a friend and whilst I was away from the table he complained that the blonde barmaid farted on him. Thinking he was joking I took no notice. Next time she came to collect glasses she clearly spun around and "crop dusted" us with a terrible smell. Absolutely bizarre and disgusting!

Just great. So, what with people being forced back into the office the pubs are now heaving and spilling onto the pavements, so I decided to see what lay just off of trendy Borough Market and I was so glad I did. This place has generous patio (with heaters), an eclectic and comfortable interior and, very important, efficient bar staff. It also hosts improv comedy too. Prices are reasonable. Will come back. Will travel back for comedy. If you're in the neighbourhood, do yourself a favour, avoid the bar crush, avoid overpriced food and come here.

Lovely pub, however an employee harassed my friend out of a bathroom last night after making assumptions about them based on appearance. This was unsettling and in poor taste, and I will not be coming back.

The review is slightly unfair as we were in a separate space. Food was very good. It was pub food so nothing fancy but it was tasty and enjoyable. The service was slightly all over the place but all the people were very helpful. In general it is fun and highly recommended

Great pub and decent prices. It's a big venue, you can sit in the busy parts in the garden or inside, or at the side on Kipling street which is really quiet. Huge range of clientele which is nice, I popped in on my own the first time and felt really comfortable. Keen to try the food next time, the reviews look really good!

Can get a bit packed and annoying that some of the spaces get booked, but otherwise a nice lively pub/bar.

Great burgers and craft cider - one of my favourite pubs in London

Student bar with sticky floors and stunning prices. Sort of bar that would be full of smoke pre 2007 but now serves some decent burgers instead.

I have lived in London since 2012 and even though it's right next to the London Bridge station and the hospital, I'd never been here so will definitely be coming back again as it has a large selection of tables.

Popped in on the afternoon of the England game. Lots of tables reserved for later on. Seemed a bit of a transient pub on this visit. Beer was okay. Probably a better vibe in the evening.

One of my favourite London Bridge haunts. Mainly because it's cheap and unpretentious. It can get very busy though. Fine to sit outside if you don't mind the cold. Would be great in Summer.

Nice enough pub for a late night pint. But was enthusiastically forced out moments after buying a last drink despite specifically asking and being told by the bar staff that we'd have 10 minutes.

Wish I'd have taken a picture of the Miller Burger, I went for the double, mate, honestly one of the top 5 burgers I've ever eaten. Naturally juicy with no grease, perfect amount of broiler flavour, perfect crispy bacon and coca cola relish , unreal. Also the Seaside cider is lush if you're into your Cider 👌🏻

I had my birthday party here in the Room and I honestly love this place dearly and couldn't recommend enough. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Only request would be a non alcoholic beer on tap please!
