The Millage Canteen in Wigan

My sister Angela Hodge is the manager there it is really lovey and the food is amazing and they let you take your dogs with you

I had been told by a friend that there was a heritage centre in the centre of Leigh under development so I went to have a look. It is a community hub where artists can exhibit and run workshops; also a small cinema. But at the heart of it all is this wonderful cafe, run by some very nice ladies who do all the cooking/ baking. Warm and friendly atmosphere and a nice place to call in for a coffee or something to eat. There is plenty of parking outside and the cafe is on the second floor of old mill buildings so currently not easily accessible for disabled but I believe they are in the process of facilitating this.
