The Mexican Express in County Durham

We called in for lunch and sat outside we only wanted a light lunch which was just as well because the portions are tiny you could eat each taco in one bite seriously over priced. Because we ate outside they were served on a polystyrene saucer, a plate would have been too big, with disposable cutlery. Other reviews rave over the food but sorry we found it really poor food and very expensive for what was served.

Katie and Katie are wonderful. They always have a smile and always prepare wonderful quesadillas (or burritos of course!). It's different, it's fun and it's always good.

Overall amazing restaurant with great tasting authentic and fresh food for a good price as well as lovely and efficient service!

Have been back here now a couple of times recently. Being honest Indian was not usually our first choice for a meal out but this place has converted us. We were there last night. I had Lamb Kundan Kaliyan and my husband had Lamb Byriani and both were absolutely delicious. It was one of the best plates of food I have had. The service is second to none. Would recommend.
