Came to this place and they started to make my burrito but after they made it they said it’s card only and I only had cash. So instead of turning me away the lovely lady gave me it for free on the house. Fabulous food and amazing service 10/10

food was delicious and filling portions and the service was impeccable!

First time going. The Food was ok. Nothing fancy, nothing great. Luke warm food, nothing hot. Coriander rice somehow got mixed into my burrito which I don't like, good thing I didn't have an allergy to it. Servers just did not seem to care. Blank and dull, didn't explain much. Also one server, with tongs, was playing with the pork filling. Not good practice at all. Worst part is all the extra charges for certain ingredient options, extra £1 of this, extra for that. The damn guacamole, which is a staple in burritos, was an extra £1.30?!?! Over all, not satisfied, mediocre food taste, to expensive once all the additions add up, service was poor. Definitely not going again any time soon

Great service from the three girls on shift - Molly was particularly helpful especially with it being my first visit!! Would recommend to anyone in the area :) Definitely coming back x

Young ladies serving there need to improve their customer service skills. They were unhelpful and quite rude serving my family and I. You need to pay extra if you want GUACAMOLE in your taco. Disappointing.

Food was very good, the staff, especially thomas and vinnyen were super friendly amd helpful and let me try a bit of the meat to see if i liked it. I’m autistic and very particular with my food and they were super patient and helpful. Defantly will come again 😀

Only issue was the ''driver'' who ignored my directions, then rang, then ignored me so had to go down the street looking for him Really annoying to have to hunt for your food which defeats the object of ''delivery'' I haven't marked Tortilla down, because 'Just Eats' choice of delivery folk is getting worse than diabolical

Wow, just wow. Found this gem with my boyfriend randomly as we were starving and my oh my were we thrilled. Not to mention the lovely girl Grace served us with the best hospitality and friendly face. I will DEFINITELY be returning and hopefully seeing the wonderful grace. #Yummy #TortillaLuvr

We just dropped in after a look around Durham. The staff were lovely and the food was really nice and reasonably priced. All 3 of us ate and drank for less than 30 quid. We will definitely be back.

Really very good Mexican food 🌯 Absolutely uncomplicated, easy to put together yourself and simply delicious.

Visited here for a quick lunch and it was very nice. I had the naked burrito bowl and my husband had a burrito which was fully loaded with the items he chose. My bowl was tasty and fresh, the hot sauces are a great also. Would definitely go again!

At 20.30 this site stated 20.55 as estimated delivery time. Also that it had been delivered. It hadn't! Couldn't get in touch with Tortilla. No-one answered Just Eat contact number. 20.38 still waiting for the food. 20.46 still waiting for the food. 20.52 still waiting for food & their website says they close at 21.00 21.00 still waiting for food & according to the website they are now closed. Absolutely atrocious service & no food

Veg bowl had hardly any veg in it - was almost a bowl of rice only. Cheese sauce pot half filled - disappointing

Spent a fortune on 2 dishes. Food was average at best. Consisted mainly of rice and lettuce with tiny amounts of “protein” Zaps and dare I say it, even Barrio Comido, seem much better value for money

Basically spent £30 on a bowl of rice, a bit of pulled pork and a bowl of lettuce and chicken and a paper bag of nachos. Topped up these nachos and salsa with ones I had from Lidl which also had more taste. Won’t be going back here.

Zoomed in, nabbed my food in 15 mins— tastebuds did a happy dance! Fresh, yummy, and their vegan options will have you questioning why you ever doubted plant-based. Place is spick and span, staff are super friendly. They even threw in some extra corn ribs, which is the key to great service imo! Consider your food cravings officially conquered! 🌱🚀

the Burito Was supposed to be pork but some one forgot to put some in it was dry as grass and had no veg unless u count onions all it was was rice the tortilla chips lol I could make a cheese cake base it was all crums will never order or recommend your place

Amazing staff and even better burritos - best in Durham! With a wide range of choices you can never get bored and the lovely staff will happily make a recommendation if you’re too spoilt for choice. Great atmosphere to sit in and grab a margarita or beer too!

Medium burrito very small for the price. Chicken was tasteless and burrito was mostly rice. Asked for sour cream and jalapeños but received neither. For 12 quid I’m very disappointed in the quality. Can’t get any refund off just eat because unfortunately I didn’t take a photo. Won’t order again

The food was mid at best, staff seemed stressed that the manager was there. Overheard the manager verbally abusing a member of staff for a minor error. As a customer I felt rushed to order and guilty the staff were having such a hard time for just trying to do their jobs.

What a place! My daughter, Lucy Wragg, and I visited Tortilla on our journey to move her into her university accommodation and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. After a long and wearisome journey up from Ipswich in which we forgot our packed lunches, a hot barbacoa beef burrito was exactly what we needed to give us the energy to move in her belongings (honestly kids these days have too much stuff but that’s just my opinion! in my day we just mended and made do🥴). We were served by Saf who told us she was the supervisor and supervise did she! I’ve never seen anyone wrap a burrito with such precision and expertise not even a single piece of cheese was lost! She was extremely friendly and gave us excellent recommendations about the city and reassured Lucy that she would be ok and not to worry if first year wasn’t everything the stereotypes say which was lovely to hear because the furthest education I had was the community college and since her father left us for Lucy’s best friend times have been tough. Overall we had a great experience all thanks to Super Saf🥰

Best Mexican food in Durham!! Have had multiple great experiences with the staff, especially Ellie and Thomas who went above and beyond to look after us. The loyalty scheme is great and the food is really worth the money.

This felt like a very, very poor imitation of Zapatista. Limited menu, disappointing food, tiny seating area, inexperienced staff, and just not a great vibe. After waiting for the staff to get everything ready, then queuing for ages, my companion and I eventually both had the 'Tres Tacos' and it was a shamefully miniscule offering. £7+ for a snack is deplorable. We also paid the unexpected additional charge for a spoonful of shredded beef (grey slop). Not worth it! Yes, there are 'extras', which are adding insult to injury. The basics are pretty shoddy too. The sweetcorn salsa had three pieces of sweetcorn in it, the 'hot' salsa was a splash of watery tomato juice which only served to make the tacos soggy, bringing no spice at all. The cheese sauce was fridge cold and very thin. All it did was make the food cold and therefore even less palatable. No rice was offered to bulk up the tacos, so they were simply three spoonfuls of wet, shredded meat with more wateriness on top. My friend paid extra for a bag of tasteless nachos. Not even a sprinkling of salt. Very expensive cardboard! In summary: Awful, overpriced, with the Management severely lacking in customer care etiquette (and good manners...) We arrived just after opening time, and the staff were still preparing all the ingredients (filling the trays with pre-prepared food...) A sullen woman at a table looked at us as if we were aliens, frowned, and said 'We're not open.' A smile, a friendly 'Please take a seat, we're not quite ready yet' would have made a much better first impression. As it was, the grim greeting pretty much summed up the whole experience. Poor quality on all fronts.

Thoroughly disappointing. The tacos themselves are absolutely tiny and the toppings are stingy. The staff gingerly puts one shredded lettuce leaf on at a time. Doesn't come together in terms of taste either.
