Absolutely delicious. The food was a delight. We could tell the products were good quality. They changed their menu not every time the same, they probably used seasonal vegetables. The wine was also very good. I bring my family in law for they anniversary and they loved it. Just perfect. The price was fair as the food is good quality.

I’ve been lucky enough to visit The Melusine a few times and each time it is faultless. The food is incredible and unlike anywhere else I’ve eaten. The regular changing menu shows you how the adapt to whatever fresh fish is available and allows you to always try something different. The restaurant itself is in a beautiful location and is very cosy inside.

Fresh seafood in a lovely spot. On the docks, near the Tower bridge ,you feel far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Ask for a table with a view of the port and you will like being transported to a Mediterranean vacation.

The food was overall good - the crab risotto was excellent. Sadly the service was quite slow, despite us being one of two tables. The waitress was very apologetic about this but it was definitely not their fault..

The taste of food was okay and average. The portion size was ridiculously small and almost seemed like a joke. The restaurant could’ve just robbed me but instead they gave me two scallops. The monkfish and the octopus dish had the same fennel topping and seasoning which was weird. Service was very nice and friendly.

The best meal we had in 4 days in London...fresh, great creations and served perfectly! The focus here is on preparing fish to a high standard, no fish 'n chips, which is therefore only recommended to a limited extent for children.

Exceptional seafood with attentive service with a calm and friendly atmosphere. We shared a number of the small plates, all were exquisite, particular shout outs to the trout gnocchi and the mussels with pork shoulder and mushrooms 🤌 Also save room for desserts as the four we had were all stunning. Don't be put off by the blue cheese ice cream which was my firm favourite. All in all a wonderful meal, this was our second visit and we'll definitely be back again 👏

I had a truly excellent meal last night, cooked by clearly talented chefs and served by equally clearly professional, friendly and knowledgeable front of house staff. There wasn’t a single element, food, drink, greeting, restaurant ambience, that I could say anything other than great things about. The seafood was beautifully fresh, cooked to perfection, and with a lot of care, thought and attention to the accompaniments, their flavours and presentation. I liked that there was a subtle Greek influence on the dishes without becoming cliched. Made it all the more interesting. Very, very tasty, expertly done in every respect. The only personal downside - and this is not a criticism at all- is, one of my sons is allergic to fish and there is almost nothing on the menu that doesn’t contain fish or seafood. Just the odd starter or side. So if you’re expecting a seafood restaurant that can cater for such folks by doing a steak or something, this isn’t it. The kitchen isn’t big enough. There wouldn’t be enough call for such a dish anyway. They do what they do very well, by dedicating the space they have to the fish and seafood.

Liked a lot about Melusine, nearly everything in fact. The food was lovely but the issue I had was with the moody waitress, she made everything feel like a chore. She forgot our wine and was eating behind the bar... That said the food was lovely so didn't take away from a great evening meal.

Wow. Just WOW. Is it a little pricier? Absolutely. But it is 100% worth every penny. Service was phenomenal. Took the time to sit down with my partner and outline menu options that are gluten free. She felt like she could have anything on the menu. It meant a lot to her and a lot to me. As for the food? Fantastic. We had shallots, cuttlefish, octopus, oysters, pineapple daiquiri, and more. All phenomenal tasting. Every bite. And the melon sorbet? I could eat it by the pint. My most memorable and best culinary experience in the UK, bar none. I wish I had the time to come back again. It's so good I'd consider another trip across the pond.

Been three times and the food quality is excellent. Unfortunately, the portion sizes are getting ridiculously small. A skatewing used to be whole but now split in two and divided into two portions and my monkfish Wellington had such small pieces of monkfish it could hardly qualify as a fish dish. The scallops for starter were only two and very small in size. The cost of food and inflation can no longer be a viable excuse for restaurants. Inflation is lowering as are food costs. And skatewing isn't an expensive fish. Would debate whether to go again.

Melusine is one of those places you find and keep to yourself. That's why I haven't reviewed them before now. But they deserve to be better known. I go there to treat myself - and you should too! Date night, quiet birthdays, milestone celebrations - when you want to feel like a grown-up... It has a sophisticated atmosphere with superb quality and attentive friendly service that makes you feel like a celebrity - but entirely unpretentious. It's devoted to the discerning fish-lover. Delicate flavours, surprising combinations and fresh, fresh, fresh. So if you don't like fish, show off your local knowledge and hit the fab tapas place next door. Leave Melusine a peaceful port for us dedicated nautical types.

A real treat. We had a large assortment of their wonderful cuisine. In a line of restaurants serving the typical fare, Melusine stands out as a culinary wonder. They are clearly taking risks with food that is uncommon in a tourist heavy zone. While all our dishes were amazing combination of flavors, the ending with blue cheese ice cream will stand out as one of the most surprising elements of the night. Went here for the second time recently after our previously visit around Valentines. The server who greeted us at the door instantly recognised and remembered us, having been our server last time This was a lovely thing for us as this is now our favourite resturant and we’ve been so excited to return. Was lovely to know the Melusine was just as excited to have us back. We went for several different courses this time Firstly my absolute favourite thing we had was the cucumber Sake margarita. Absolutely delicious; zesty, sharp, fresh. The apricot whiskey was pleasant too. We shared some small plates of scallops, and the carbonara with cod cheeks. We had the cod cheeks previously but they’d made some minor changes to the recipe which meant it was still familiar but delicious is a completely different way. The scallops were delicately presented and the flavours were really well balanced. We shared their special of whole grilled red mullet with a tomato sauce. The mullet was so wonderfully flaky and melted in your mouth. The sauce worked well but the fish would have held its own without it. We finished with some coffee and 3 desserts between the two of us…we were celebrating what can I say ;) The cheese platter with an perfectly sweet chutney. The polenta “tiramisu” and the cheesecake The texture of the baked cheesecake was wonderful, but my heart still belongs to the tiramisu. It’s a quirky reinvention which only contains coffee in the drizzle it’s served with. As someone who developed spontaneously serious caffeine allergy after 21 years as a major coffee addict. This is the only tiramisu i can have!!(minus coffee drizzle of course) Its also just got a great texture, the polenta is moist and crumbly, putting me in mind of amaretto biscuits steep in coffee. Our server this time was an Australian?(apologises if he was actually a kiwi my hearing isn’t what it used to be) man who was brilliant. The blonde woman who remembered us from before was also great to see again.

We arrived for dinner and were quickly seated. The facility is small and nicely appointed. Service was prompt and friendly. The sunset shone in as we drank and dined. Both Kitchen and bar service was very quick. I could look over my shoulder and see the chefs in the kitchen. I believe they have a good balance between the menu and abilities. This is apparent in the menu selections. Curated, chef specialties and all of them delicious and devoured. We started with the oysters which were very briny and tasted of the sea. The pickled rhubarb contained was a nice contrast. We had a combination of small plates and an entree. The small plates are just of the right size for a couple per person. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The risotto was good but in need of a bit more crab. The plaice cutlet was also cooked perfectly and was delicious. The desserts round out the menu nicely and are big enough to share a bite or two yet small enough to not overstuff. We had both ice creams. Served quenelle style, they show creativity and deliciousness in every bite. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. I would definitely visit again upon returning. UrbanCowgill May 2024

Really lovely. The oysters rule, the octopus butter is out of this world, the scallops are basically the greatest thing on the planet, and bleu cheese ice cream? Bro it was something else. A truly tasteful seafood dinner was exactly what we needed on this rainy Saturday evening in London. We started with a fantastic cuttlefish dish: so tasteful! And a great combination with the fresh prawns with aioli we ordered separately. As main course we took the 750g grilled seabass. Deliciously cooked with tomatoes in a ricotta dressing. The fennel sidedish made it just perfectly exceptional. This small restaurant is nothing but a gem, nicely located at the St. Katherine’s dock. Not to be missed!

We arrived on time for our reservation and the main concern as soon as we arrived was that we were out of the restaurant as soon as possible. It spoilt the evening. We were told to drink up and leave before 11pm - despite the fact that two people walked in just before 11 and were seated and sitting at the bar with full wine glasses. It was rude, unnecessary as we were just finishing up anyway and inconsistent with how other guests were being treated. The food was actually good, but no atmosphere, and certainly not a relaxed atmosphere

The staff were great, but let down by the minute portions, the oysters were the smallest I have ever seen, the crab plate dish was fantastic but eaten in 3 spoonfuls. The chips were the best I have tasted for a long time, but again not enough of them, we had to ask for extra aioli which was freely given. Only go there if you want to spend a fortune as you would need to order at least two portions of everything to equal one portion in any other restaurant. The stand out dish for me was the cuttlefish , which cooked in a coconut Thai style sauce. I loved the Moldovan wine and would happily drink this instead of my usual Sauvignon blanc. Peach with a crumble and Greek yoghurt sorbet was my dessert and I would have loved more of the sorbet, it was delicious. This visit we thoroughly enjoyed: bread, olives, taramosalata, perfectly prepared crispy cod cheeks, skate wing, and Scottish langostines. We celebrated a special occasion in this restaurant and couldn't have chosen a better place to do so. The team was super professional and friendly and the food was delicious.

This is little restaurant packs quite a big punch. How each dish is exquisitely made, that risotto was perfectly cooked, the oysters were very fresh. You can see they take care in the preparation and presentation. And it’s dog friendly! Second visit: The food is a bit average, that’s way the 3 start… hope they will get better.

A hidden gem with a friendly atmosphere - the highlight was definitely the blue cheese ice cream, certainly recommended to everyone I spoken to since.

Incredibly creative. Wonderful food. I tried two small plates and some oysters. One of the small plates that stood out was the cuttlefish served with chickpeas on a thin slice of lamb. I would have never considered this combo. Wow. The entire meal was excellent. Recommend it!

Amazing food and great staff. Every single dish we had was delicious. Highly recommend the Grilled Brill and chips. Lovely cheesecake and sorbet. The only things that are a negative are the music (loud pop- think teenage school party) and really tiny tables which mean you have to reshuffle plates and glasses throughout the meal.

Did a lot of research and took a recommendation from the hotel. Every dish was really good. Started off with the maldon oysters (asked for hot sauce instead of the shallot vinaigrette), really enjoyed the crab risotto, waitress recommended diver caught scallops, and did the...

I visited Thai O'CHA with friends for dinner and was thoroughly impressed, not just with the food but also with the outstanding service. We ordered the Tiger Cry (beef steak), Pad Se-ew, and chicken satay for starters. My steak was cooked to perfection—soft, tender, and exactly as I ordered it, medium rare. The flavors were amazing, and the service by Oscar was exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended!

I'm not one to express my feelings about any kind of service but the Manager in this Place "Adrien" displayed one of the least friendly aura and poor customer service I've experienced in a while. I'm a local business to you guys and have told my associates to avoid going when he's working. Rest of the team are Stellar!
