Great little pub with loads of character. Great cask selection. Great prices. Nice little beer garden out back. This is how pubs should be.

Cannot think of a better pub over this side of London. Probably the cheapest around(barring wetherspoons) with a good selection of real ales, cider and perry. A locals pub but very welcoming to everyone. Rae and the bar staff always have time to have a chat but still you never have to wait long to be served. Also if you love your music you'll love the jukebox.

How pubs should be. Came in for the first time with some friends, certainly won’t be the last. Excellent beer selection, of which I had lovely pint of Summer Lightning. Landlady very friendly, great atmosphere and an endless amount of pub paraphernalia to view. Can’t wait to return.

A great find this. Had walked up from Richmond and found this old time bar in Teddington. Lots of charm, great selection of beers and Laura chatted away happily while serving me a couple of lovely pints. Refreshing!!!

An absolutely lovely pub! A bit a mission to get to, but utterly worth it. Beautiful decor, an excellent beer garden, and a diverse range of beers - only two lagers on draught, but very good ones. Lovely friendly staff too - and plainly a pub that has a range of regulars!

OUTSTANDING! It was a trip down memory lane. How typical English pubs used to be before we were diverted down the unedifying cul-de-sac of so called 'bistro' establishments, with over-overpriced food and no atmosphere. The Masons is a living museum of wonderful days gone by when pubs were all about good beer, cheap food and great conversation. It was also the pub of the year 2023. I really enjoyed it. They serve cheese and pickle rolls. Brilliant 😁

Friendly traditional backstreet pub with an extensive collection of drinking and smoking memorabilia including old tobacco tins and tin trays. A very interesting selection of ales at a price that would seem very reasonable anywhere in South East England. They didn't have any New Zealand sauvignon blanc but I was told that the French version they stocked was excellent . Very friendly

The best pub in Teddington quite comfortably. A non-pretentious back street boozer with a great selection of ale, plus plenty of keg options and bootlegs from various stables. There is a quaint garden which is great on a nice day. Inside the interior is quirky and full of interesting booze related paraphernalia across the ages. The ladies that run the bar do so effortlessly and are very friendly and welcoming. They accept card, but I think there’s a minimum spend so ideally bring cash although life always finds a way. There’s a jukebox too so you can put some tunes on. Hopefully pubs like this last the course as they’re rare gems these days!

Great little pub. Came here on a recommendation from a colleague. Well worth the trip. Lovely friendly landlady. Great real ale. Quaint old skool interior. Charming pub. Even gave me a free DIPA !! 😱 Couldn't ask for more. If you like real ale craft beer worth a visit.

Local pub. Not too big, with limited seating. Not suited for large groups. However if the weather is nice more space is available in the beer garden. Friendly staff and prices are cheaper compared to the other pubs on the high street

Beer always delicious and in great condition, choice of 4 bitters with 2 always changing to introduce you to new ales. Welcoming clientele and staff. Comfortable homely feel. Excellent juke box. No screens or machines, just good conversation, also no dogs or children inside. Delightful little garden. Regular fun events including vinyl night and music quiz. Useful website for information on current ales and events. A proper pub. I love it!

Very friendly place. My wife left her phone there and was able to call in the next day to pick it up. Bring some cash for the jukebox.

It is a lovely, traditional backstreet pub that obviously has a big local clientele. We very much enjoyed our visit.

The absolute antidote to chain pubs. It should win an award for packing eons of nostalgia into a small, brilliant eclectic space. Quirky. Tiny. Lovely. The local you wish you had.

Anyone who lives near Teddington who isn't trying to avoid beer or wine who doesn't use this delightful pub needs to have a long and frank conversation with themselves about their values and what it is, exactly, they want from their life. Sublime.

Great back street local with usually 4 well kept ales just off from Teddington main street near hospital. Currently has on Vale best, Wandle, Summer Lightening and one guest. Good prices as well😊

A really wonderful gem of a pub that I had heard so much about but never visited. The staff are warm and efficient. There is a good range of beers all kept in perfect condition. The internal decor and breweriana is mesmerising and the atmosphere of the "local backstreet boozer" was just brilliant. I look forward to a return visit soon!!

Lovely, proper pub with no sofas in sight ( my pet hate in a public house) and fab memorabilia. Very friendly with a great jukebox ( from the Allman Brothers to ZZ Top). Kind of pub I am happy to go in on my own for a pint of real ale.

Lovely quirky interior, very traditional old fashioned boozer with a very friendly welcome, i.e. lots of regulars but you won't get stared at when you walk in. Definitely more aimed at adults than a family pub, but that's no bad thing. If you want food (or parking) or have noisy kids, look elsewhere. But a lovely place for a quiet pint and to get away from being a parent for a while.

I wonder what 'Braising Steak' was drinking, because I thought the two beers I tried recently (Sambrook's Junction and the Gorgeous Brewery's Vanilla Milk Stout) were very reasonably priced and in perfect condition. Beautiful pub - you won't have been in one quite like it! - and very friendly.

A great friendly pub Walk a little away from the high st and find a genuine little pub , with a warm welcome and great local atmosphere. Only here for a night and so glad we popped in here . Beers are very food and the barman knows exactly what he has . CAMRA quality

Fantastic traditional pub packed with breweriana - with the decor it's all a riot of colour that makes a great impression when you walk in. 4 handpumps with quality independent ales in great condition on my visit. I couldn't recommend it more and I've seen a good deal of others to compare 😁

Great, proper really well run little pub! Teddington is full.of gastro pubs which are more family orientated but this place is for a cosy.drink for adults.The beer and cider is very well selected with care, I really look forward to coming here again and trying the beers. This is one of my favourites of all time! Keep up the great work!

Regularly walk past this pub for 3 years but had never been in. Having read the great reviews, I decided to come with my family for a few drinks. We all loved it, great beers and prices, quirky interior and really friendly bar staff. Give it a try!
