We spent a lovely weekend in Twickenham for our wedding anniversary and celebrated with a beautiful, relaxed meal at this charming Thai restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend this gem. We will definitely come back—the steamed rice and lamb dish were particularly delightful. Thank you for making our evening even more special!

The food was okay but I didn’t like the fact that I had to pay 15% service charge. It would be fair if you just increase the price of your food instead of forcing customers to pay exorbitant amount of money for the service charge.Let customers to decide by themselves if they want to tip or not.Don’t force them.It’s my mistake I didn’t read the reviews- read small print!

Great to find an authentic Thai restaurant. The food was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend and great value. We would have drunk more alcohol but our water glasses kept being replenished! Toilet was clean.

I took my sister and her husband out to lunch today as they were In London for a visit . The food we recieved was honestly beyond words and will not be forgotten in a hurry it was truly exceptional. It was a pleasure to visit this restaurant and the staff were superb and friendly and the boss Sadie and chef kaem were a pleasure to talk to and they couldn't do enough for us . I will be back and would fully recommend this delightful gem of a restaurant

The food was sooo good I had sticky chicken 🤤😋 best I've ever had also coconut rice yummy my wife had a prawn dish in sauce also superb .large portions we will be going back on our next trip to London .

I visited this venue for lunch on a Saturday, over the Easter weekend 2024. Without a prior booking, we arrived at the tail end of their lunch opening hours, and were warmly welcomed and served throughout by Sandy. The venue is nicely decorated, clean, seating well spread out and well ventilated. We had a mix of starters and main courses. Good portions of food which were deliciously well seasoned and nicely presented. The drinks were equally outstanding. Sandy was an excellent host and we enjoyed our lunch at leisure well past their lunch opening timings, with no pressure at all to speed up our experience. The service here is exceptional. This is a very good restaurant, within a short walking distance of the river, the hub of local amenities and attractions, plus transport links. There is also parking nearby. I strongly recommend a visit to this venue.

Clearly we were there for a birthday .. the staff didn't acknowledge with a congratulations or anything not that we wanted one but shows no warmth from them..£30 service fee for taking our order is not acceptable.. cans of drink warm.. service slow. Won't be going back 🙁

Eight of us booked in ahead of the England v Ireland Rugby match. Everyone was blown away by the quality of the food , the fantastic service and all round atmosphere . Highly highly recommended. A real jewel of Twickenham restaurants.

Had a delicious meal here with my friend Kiran who recommended it from previous visits. Starters were delicious especially sticky chicken and calamari. The seabass and lamb shank were delectable. Great service so definitely coming back!

My second visit here. I had their set lunch last year and thought it was really good. So when I was in Twickenham last week I went for dinner. Prawn Tom Yum soup and chicken green curry was very good.

Very expensive for a tiny portion. £20 for a curry and no rice (curry was quite small) and over £12 for three spring rolls. Won’t be ordering at Rice Mill again.

Absolutely wonderful food. We cannot get enough of this place. A firm family favourite. Please go if you have not been already.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Ordered their chicken and prawn fried rice costing £15.95. It did not taste like a fried rice - it tasted of egg and turmeric. Had a spoon of it. I normally never make a fuss or return dishes if there is absolutely some way of just eating it. This was so inedible and since it was my main course thought I should politely mention it to the the staff. I asked the main manager if there was a way they could change the dish for me because it’s impossible for me to eat it. But I also specifically asked them not to worry if it’s inconvenient. The lady was rude and asked me “what did you expect it to taste like? It’s our most popular dish. We will have to charge you for the fried rice too.” I still spoke politely and said it’s ok don’t worry. She took the food away. Never once did she apologise or suggest any alternatives. My friends and I just laughed it off and didn’t let it ruin our evening. But I pretty much sat there the whole time with no food. Later the lady came back with the bill - spoke to my friends without once looking at me and said she is charging me for the fried rice. I didn’t say a word, just paid the bill. Additionally the prawns on toast were mushy - not crispy. The food is extremely overpriced. When I asked for a second jasmine tea they came back pouring hot water into the same pot with the old tea bag from the first jasmine tea. So yeah overall, quite a surprisingly sad experience because I had big expectations from this place. This is the first time I’m making an effort to write a negative review because that’s how bad the customer service was. Not only was the customer service bad, the lady was downright rude.

Delicious Thai food with friendly service. Their lunch menu has quite a bit to choose from. I went for the massaman curry which was very rich and flavourful.

I won't be going again, the takeaway was very expensive and the quality is no longer very good thin on ingredients and flavour. The rice was still very nice and the service friendly.

Overpriced food and 15% service charge! This is the only place in the UK with such a high service charge. I don’t mind tipping but I don’t want to be force to tip someone for non existing service. I went to this restaurant based on the reviews and I learned my lesson I guess!

I absolutely love the food at the Rice Mill - really delicious Thai food, but also really friendly and welcoming staff. Totally worth a visit in person just to enjoy the atmosphere, but also really tasty should you choose to have your food delivered.

What a great Thai experience! Firstly, the restaurant is well laid out and the staff are very friendly. The food is authentic and really delicious. Portion sizes are decent and pricing is affordable. This place comes well recommended and is yet another eating jewel in Twickenham's treasure chest. The beef green curry with Jasmine rice which I had as a main was bursting with flavour... Good grief...I wanted to eat the plate as well 🤣🤣🤣

The wonderful Sue & co catered for around 35 of us at their lovely restaurant after our civil marriage. The food was of excellent quality along with their service. We ordered a variety of dishes and none of them disappointed. Food arrived in v timely fashion. Portions are of reasonable size and value. Highly recommend their chef specials - my personal favourite was the black pepper chicken! Will certainly keep going back!

The food was okay,for example my main was delicious, but starter was a bit bland, on the other hand for my husband was the opposite. Restaurant lacks warmth and a decoration.It looks more like a canteen. Service was friendly. Also it was strange they abruptly switched off the music at 9pm while guests were still in, and they are closing at 10 pm. What put us off is 15% service charge which is a little bit excessive.

Great food, if place is full it takes time but worth it. Really happy we have a Thai locally now that serves proper Thai food (not like the awful Giggling Squid type Thai restaurant that serves westernised version and is now 20+ years out of touch).

Amazing food and service was excellent. Found this gem while staying in twickenham for the London rugby 7s and it was so good we went back the following evening. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Fairly small and intimate but accommodated us 10 guests brilliantly and the food was top notch. Will ve going back next year for sure.

Great find with friendly hostess. Location is central and service excellent. We had red Thai curry, with noodles and one salad as main course, with wine. Good was tasty and home-cooked, but a little pricey at £30 ea.
