Me encanta este restaurante y he estado viniendo aquí durante años... ¡Incluso le propuse matrimonio a mi esposa! La comida nunca decepciona y el personal es muy acogedor. Mi único negativo sería que cambiaron el helado hace unos 2 años y me entristece decir que el sustituto no es tan bueno! ¡Muchos de mis amigos estuvieron de acuerdo porque era un incentivo extra para cenar aquí! Por favor traiga de vuelta el helado especial - helado y entonces mi comida estará completa : )

Delicious food and delicious beers (in special Singha glasses!!). Service was on point, particularly when I had to return twenty minutes later to collect the handbag id left behind.

Lovely. More food cpuld be cooked fresh, nonetheless - very good experience.

Such a great independent restaurant in the heart of Teddington. It only has around 15 tables so it was a fairly quiet and relaxing atmosphere when I visited. The menu had a good selection of vegetarian dishes and I was advised that vegan dishes were no problem - I think most of them were vegan by default. I tried vegetable gyoza, spring rolls, tofu in a slightly spicy coconut sauce, and stir fried broccoli in soy sauce, with steamed rice. Everything was cooked to perfection and served piping hot. Staff were friendly and really attentive, checking with us if we were ready for the main dishes when the plates from the starters were cleared. Prices were good. 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 portions of rice, beers and a coffee came to £60. I'll definitely be back.

Delicious Thai food.I had Satay and Pad thai noodles.Excellent service, I had food allergy, the staff made sure everything is okay, double checked the items which is really good.Definitely recommended

This is our favourite restaurant. We’ve been coming here on a regular basis for years and it has only got better. Our kids absolutely love it! And they’re really attentive. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes and very good-value for money. I highly recommend it!

We LOVE Charm Thai- we have never been disappointed. Delicious Thai food at a reasonable price with lovely servers. When we order takeaway, the food is just as delicious and we are always so happy! Our only problem is that there are too many good choices to choose from!

Most disappointing meal ever such a shame as we used to really like Charm Thai in Teddington. The starters seemed ready made and the mains had no flavour with bad quality ingredients. Such a shame.

My favorite Thai restaurant! Always nice and fast service, delicious food. My favorite item from menu no.17 - garlic chicken with rice. I highly recommend :)

Terrible, only half a curry in a smaller pot, chicken smellt of fish/prawns, rice was all burnt, drink didn't turn up although i still paid for it, really gone down hill in the past month or so, think I'll stick to the Albert in Twickenham, much better food at a much better price an they have a better food hygiene rating too!

I never write reviews, but this restaurant really deserves a great one. The food is delicious, really good value for money and the service is outstanding. The waitresses are always amazing, going out of their way to ensure our kids and the whole family enjoy the meal, adjusting it to how spicy we like our food etc. We’ve been regulars for years now and the service has only got better.

The best Thai food, top top quality. Very friendly staff, the waitress at lunch time with the ‘trainee’ badge always super friendly. Superb place.

Horrible decoración - una pared completamente llena de antihigiénico - sensación de follaje plástico que se reflejaba en un espejo enfrente. Un altar - como la exhibición al final del restaurante, una mezcla de artículos tailandeses e indios. ¡No esperaba ver a Ganesh! Buen rollo de primavera, pero fue cuesta abajo desde allí. Un plato era tan salado con soja que era casi no comestible, otro pesado con hierba de limón. Pedimos dos copas de vino diferentes, que sabían igual. Al menos el servicio era bueno. Vale la pena intentarlo, pero no una experiencia agradable.

If you imagine that the food you eat in this restaurant is going to be Thai cuisine you will be disappointed ☹️. If you go for a plate of noodles you will have discovered a Charming bargain 😀. And....there is blue pea flower tea on offer. The staff are perfect, even though they no nothing about Thai food. This restaurant must be doing something right 👍. It's been in Teddington for years...

Pad Thai was overcooked and greasy, veggie too sweet, really disappointed

Worse than a Tesco take out. Overly oily pad Thai , watery curry. This place has really deteriorated in food quality from a few years ago.

I always buy Tom yum kung here after finish work. Mostly busy around 8 pm. Food was good.

The food here was genuinely amazing, so much flavour. When im back in the area, i would definitely stop here again.

Came here for lunch but kept waiting and ignored for over 10 minutes. Couldn’t even get a drink. Waitress brusque to the point of rudeness. Eventually we walked out leaving the waitress on her phone which she was much more interested in. I think this place has been taken over which is a shame as it used to be really good. Not recommended.

Always amazing food, complimentary prawn crackers too. Super quick delivery and collection. A little on the pricier end but you definitely get what you pay for!

What a nice surprise. Unexpectedly I found myself out with my grownup son and we made a rather random choice of where to eat having no prior knowledge other than we both like Thai food. Delighted to have chosen Charm, good service & excellent food. Generous portions (nice) of proper tasty food which arrived pretty quickly. Looking forward to my next visit with other members of my family.

We were staying in a hotel nearby so in the afternoon we decided to wander in to Teddington to see what was on offer for an evening meal. As it had not yet opened for the evening, it was a bit hard to see what it was like inside though the menu looked good so we rang and booked. We are so glad we did. The food and service were absolutely excellent and reminded us of a previous trip to Thailand. We also thought it was excellent value for money. It's not an area we often visit but we would definitely go back if we did.

Went here with a group of 6, back in November. Waited for about 30-40 minutes for my food only to get something I didn't order and the waitress was adamant I was in the wrong until she went and got her order sheet and realised she was wrong. Everyone's food came at different times and even though mine was wrong my friend waited a lot longer for her food. I wouldn't come here again. Food is ok but the Thai in Brentford is much better in every way. Sevice charge is added to your bill.

They definitely need to improve the quality of food. Although the staffs are friendly and atmosphere is good, food is just blend and nothing special! Seriously !!

After trip to Thailand and being fan of Thai food, have eaten at many Thai restaurants. The food at Charm Thai is lovely, authentic tasting with fresh ingredients. The Tom Yum (Hot Prawn) soup is excellent. Lunch menu is good value with ample portions. Would recommend.

Food was tasty however the portions in green curry were disappointing .very little chicken or prawn in either green curries and veg green curry had no extra veg added . Staff were lovely

Was quite hungry and saw this lovely restaurant and popped in. The service was fantastic, very lovely and kind people. We ordered gyoza for starters and it tasted really good. The sauce was nice. The pad Thai was great, very good portion size. The green curry was the best! The flavours were great. If you come by this area I would definitely recommend it.

Dined here 4 months ago and the waitress who was then 'in training' is no longer so but is still utterly useless, abrupt and frankly rude. She rushed us to order food, insisted on taking starters orders from each of us, then coming back to take mains orders from each of us, and then took the drinks menu without allowing us to order any drinks! When I asked another waitress if I could see the manager she spoke little English and couldn't understand me. When I got to see the manager she didn't give a fig! Would not recommend this dive until they have competent staff who can communicate in fluent English. Portions are far too small for the exorbitant prices also. Avoid if you want a carefree dining experience.

Takeaway ! Pad Thai. Chicken very tough and I could taste prawn although I only ordered chicken ? Was this others left overs I wonder ! and the noodles were in this sauce soaked . Heaps of noodles . Just not to my taste for that amount of money . Sorry !

Great restaurant that serves great food. Never had a bad meal here and the service is good. The value for money is great.

Tough beef, a vegetarian dish which was £7.95 for about one ladle's worth of vegetables , a mushroom dish which was swimming in salty soy sauce. £40 wasted on cheap and nasty ingredients. Won't be ordering from here again

A regular favourite of ours for over 10 years, but we won't be returning. Yet another change of ownership. Waitress is dreadful & seems capable of only carrying one thing at a time. Food not a patch on what it was. Such a shame.

Lovely atmosphere with authentic and very tasty thai food. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. If we come to Bath again, we will certainly be back!

Had a great visit again . Amazingly tasty food . Attentive staff , especially Jenniy. Lucky to find a table even on a week night (Thursday) the place was packed but the service was still exceptional. I don’t understand how some of the reviews are negative !!!!!! . Try a meal , you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy .

It was reasonably tasty but the portions are too small, and I'm not a particularly big eater.

Really lovely food. Authentic, properly spicy and delicious Thai food. It's great value for money too! We got more than enough for two people and we were completely stuffed by the end of it. We spent only £60 including drinks. Out of an overabundance of caution, the owners still have the table dividers and COVID signs up. I'm not here to criticise their choices, but it does make things feel a bit less warm and cosy than it could feel. Since the doors have curtains up to stop the breeze, you can't really see into the restaurant which doesn't feel super inviting. However - I'd definitely recommend checking it out for some great Thai food!

Nice food but a simple 2 course lunch (without drinks) for two is £30+ . Service is added. So good food but not super cheap for lunch.

Ordered Gyozo, Pad Thai, Green Curry and PAD BAI KRAPRAO FAMOUS STREET FOOD Pad Thai was something quite amazing. Spices blended in wonderfully to make an simply delicious dish. Gyozo also hit the mark. My sister claimed the Green curry too was one of the best she had. This was my first taste of PAD BAI KRAPRAO FAMOUS STREET FOOD it was spicy as advertised but didn’t do it for me. Maybe just my palate.

Having lived in Thailand for over 20years I expect the same standard of food when I visit a Thai restaurant in the UK. Whilst there are some issues with getting some of the raw ingredients the taste of the food was very good and would recommend them to anyone who likes Thai food. Staff very friendly and took the time to chat with us about Thailand and the food. If in the area again I will certainly eat there again.

Delicious food! Curry portion was a little small, but Pad Thai was a good size.

We visited this establishment of an evening and it was quite busy. Service overall was reasonable And food was good. Would be happy to eat here again. I say, however, the prawn crackers did seem somewhat softter than one would expect.

Missing our extra order of crackers and one satay chicken starter. Tried calling back but they kept cutting off. Portion sizes poor. 70p for extra satay sauce and its essentially a tablespoon amount.

They failed to deliver one of the food items. The Thai green curry was missing which meant we had to share all of the food with the one person who had nothing!!!

On the eve of our wedding we realised that we would have nearly thirty family and friends in local hotels and decided it would be fun to invite them all out for an informal meal the night before the « big day » to get the party rolling and give a chance for guests to meet and mingle before the actual wedding day. We did not want the event to over shadow the main event the following day and wanted to food to be a distinct contrast. As regular visitors to Thailand (and enjoying frequent lunches) at Charm we came up with the idea if they could host us. They immediately offered the whole restaurant to us and gave us some brilliant menu ideas that had lots of dishes for sharing. The planning was simple, the manager charming and everything easily organised. The evening of the event itself was great fun, it was very relaxed with lots of laughter and smiles and made for a memorable start to our wedding celebrations. The food and drink were delicious and even the « I can’t eat anything spicy » brigade enjoyed it. The service included the famous Thai smiles and the large and varied group were very well catered for. Thank you so much for this, I can’t wait to be back for a pad Thai lunch soon.

Really nice authentic Thai food at reasonable prices, nice environment and friendly staff

The food was fine. The service was a trainee and lacked confidence but was doing her best. What ruined it was the (I assume) boss ranting rudely at his staff in a bullying and menacing manner, presumably because of some take away issue. He was aggressive and nasty and you could tell that the staff were treading on eggshells. We're all having a hard time right now, but you have to be big enough not to take it out on others. It was SOO audible that I almost went and intervened.... A shame, because the chilli beef salad was knock out!

The best Thai meal that I've had in years!

We popped in for a quick bite after a day out. The food was fantastic and the staff lovely, not badly priced either.

Small but cosy. Food is fantastic. Portions are ok but rice is extra, would recommend one bowl of rice per person for diners with an appetite. Very good service and happy to split the bill between members of our group. Clear plastic COVID screens still in place but probably a good thing for privacy as the tables are close.

A Teddington fixture and this is why: Firstly, start with consistently great food. We’ve seen this when we first went here in 2005 to this week. Second, add excellent, attentive service to compliment the outstanding food. That’s the secret to success. Well done and do pay a visit if you like Thai food, or if it’s just your first taste. You’ll enjoy great food & service here.

Second time something missing from takeaway order. Called restaurant and told "Apply to Just Eat for a refund". Very disappointing. Won't order from here again.

Excellent food, speedy delivery, complimentary crackers. As good as ever from Charm.

Tasty food. Arrived hot and in good condition. Just took a while; almost an hour from ordering.

The starters were great, prompt to take the order but the waitress didn't seem to understand we asked for the duck to be served without the sauce, unfortunately it came 10 minutes after our meals, cold with sauce transbording the plate 😳😳 salty, skin like rubber and completely un-edible. Tried to tell the waitress but she just smiled and walked away. My meal was no better. I had pad see lew. Pork extremely salty which I couldn't eat. When the plates were cleared again we told a different waitress who smiled and brought the bill £96.58. Including £8.78 service charge?!!!! We went out for a meal left without eating and had to tip for the perivelege!! Honestly the worst meal I didn't have! I am a good catholic girl and eat no matter what, however I couldn't eat even half.

Hi great place the food was lovely, but i think the chap that was in charge was in a rush to get us out? We were the last 4 in there at 9.30 still eating but he was clock watching and kept staring at us ? As I said the food was great ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but the atmosphere was not great that night unfortunately 😢 our friends eat there a lot and said it was out of character!!! The waitresses were great too ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ just the chap in charge seemed to be wanting to leave and as soon as we left a short while later they all out coats on and left too so we were clearly holding them or him up for some reason??? Our booking was at 8pm so not late by any means but disappointed but we will go back to see if this was a one off 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Have been coming here for over 6 years always a good experience. After going today 18/02/2023 I was amazed at how absolutely shocking the service was. After getting our order wrong 3 times! We then wasn’t even given a refund and ended up paying for a takeaway we gave back to them and didn’t even take home. What a shame. Absolutely ridiculously unless waitresses I can’t even describe it.

Visited this restaurant recently and enjoyed the meal. First time ordering a takeaway and food was just as delicious. Delivered very promptly and still warm. Will definitely use the service and the restaurant again.

Food was great. Lots to choose from inc some dishes I'd not heard of before. We had booked an early sitting so restaurant was half empty. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

Green curry not bad. Thai fish cakes had a horrible rubbery texture. Sweet & Sour pork was fatty and chewy and pretty tasteless.

We visited with our 7 year old granddaughter While she had a gorgeous curry and rice we had some really authentic tasting meals . Absolutely fantastic food . Service was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. If you’re any where near and fancy a great Thai treat then you must visit , you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy .
