Came one time last year for lunch, was absolutely beautiful, great service and a good atmosphere, Came again in june for my grandmas 73th birthday meal. Was again outstanding, such a lovely place with lovely people, and the food was delicious 😋

Pricey for the quality of food. Wine list is meagre overpriced with only overpriced Okanogan wines offered. There were few patrons but we felt rushed to leave..

Lovely, recommend the spaghetti bolognaise!

5 stars, the staff are so warm and welcoming and really projected a good mood. The food was amazing with no faults and I can’t complain about the atmosphere of the bistro. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely inside food home cooked delicious My only negative was the potatoe skins mainly burnt n crispy not fresh with company otherwise would of sent bk.

Awesome food for really good value, and surprisingly quick service! Delicious parmo. Nice coffee and cannoli too. Really friendly service. Parking is out the front of Marton shops. Happy hour times are well worth it for 2 courses.

It was clean and modern. The owners were friendly and professional. I had the lobster ravioli, and it was sublime. I would never expected such a lively restaurant in that location.

Went with my wife for the first time. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We have had takeaway beforehand which has always been good, but think we'll be back for more table service. Excellent.

It was our first time visiting the bistro despite walking past several times before and peeking through the window. The menu has a broad variety of dishes and if our food was anything to go by then they'll be really nice. My partner opted for an omelette which she said was delicious. I had a two course special which was a bargain. The food was delicious with bags of flavour, there was also plenty of options for drinks and desserts. We will definitely be going back soon...

We had the most gorgeous meal last night I can't remember the last time I ate 3 courses not one single fault. Service was good staff friendly and helpful food arrived quick but not worryingly so we will be returning asap

First visit, lack of veggie options. Ordered cheese & onion sandwich in brown with salad & chips. No butter on bread grated cheese & sliced onion very dry no mayo

The table service was really poor and the server seemed to value chatting with his friend over attentive customer care. We found the beautifully presented food did mitigate the poor front of house performance.

This is and always has been a fantastic asset to Marton Shops, local and serving amazing food I not only come here on an evening I regularly pop here for lunch and I have never had a bad meal. Warm and welcoming the two main gentleman service have consistently made me feel like nothing is too much to ask and we always feel very welcome. Regular clients here and always.

Canny little cafe, specials board a lot more reasonably priced than menu. Food was nice too and good service. Both men very prompt. But however do be careful if you’re like me and shy! When you go to pay by card there’s an option to pay a surcharge. I was far too embarrassed to say I couldn’t afford a tip. So I had to tap the 10% one. There’s thousands of people who work in catering, in schools, care homes, colleges etc but no one is tipping these people. Personally I think if we want to tip, we would leave it on the table. Times are very hard at the moment and not everyone can afford to tip. For that reason alone I won’t be going back, and neither will any of the rest of us.

I regularly visiting marton bistro for my favourite spicy sausage and pasta dish! Lovely place ran by lovely people! Fantastic coffee and drink selection available! We visit regular - I would recommend

Basic food - premium price for the area. Ordered a plain burger (admittedly did ask for it without the side salad) and out came the saddest looking burger of my life - see picture attached.. Never seen a place plonk a random cherry tomato on top before but hey ho! Just reminded me of something I could have made at home from the freezer; should have guessed at how quick it took to come out from the kitchen. Left without even considering desert. Service was prompt. No drinks menu just a chalkboard which contains no prices next to a chalk desert menu which also did not contain a price list so left unsure when the bill came out. Cramped seating - pile them high scenario. Howeverthe bistro was lovely n warm and had a good atmosphere.

Myself and my wife were looking for somewhere to stop for lunch. We were just passing and thought we would try. Easy free parking. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and we received a great welcome. We both ordered pasta seafood for me and salmon for my wife a long with a tomato garlic bread. I can honestly say it was the best pasta dish I have had for a long time and the garlic bread was delicious. My wife said the same about her meal. It was very good value and if we lived close by we would be regular’s.

Superb food and drink. 1st time eating here but certainly won't be the last. Great service as well. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Visited here at short notice for lunch with my partner. Nice ambiance inside in a handy location. I had the chicken and mushroom risotto and it was cooked to perfection. It came out hot and obviously freshly made. A good sized portion and at a very reasonable price. My partner had the jacket potato with salad and it was delicious. Drinks are reasonably priced too. Whilst in there a customer had a Parmo brought to the table and I have decided that on my next inevitable visit a Parmo it will be. Great food nice ambiance reasonable prices. What’s not to like. Will definitely be back.

Fab breakfast! Big portion and very good price for the amount of food.

This is probably our 3rd visit and food is delicious and fresh everytime. We had the 2 course special which is fantastic value for money. We each had the mussels in cream sauce and it was one of the very best mussel cream sauces I'd ever had! Plump and perfectly cooked. A lovely slice of the lightest bread to mop up the sauce! Unreal! We each had the chicken in lobster bisque sauce which was delightful. Again the sauce was amazing! We had a beer each, a bottle of Pinot Grigio to share, a cocktail each and 2 courses each and it was £63.00 Staff are very friendly and attentive! Thanks for a lovely meal. Nichola and Kirsty 🍹🍸🍻🦪🦞🍗

I visited the bistro with my family shortly before the pandemic. The food was quite good but even at that time we felt that the tables were far too close together to create a relaxing atmosphere so wouldn’t necessarily return to dine in, however it was my husband’s birthday on Wednesday, so we considered getting a take away from here. We looked at the reviews and were concerned to see a few comments mentioning the lack or improper use of face masks, then we looked on Facebook and were alarmed to see posts from the management actively encouraging families and friends to meet up by booking separate tables! I had seriously considered giving only one star because, as I said, the food was quite nice, but I can’t ignore the most blatant disregard for covid rules I’ve seen in a restaurant since the pandemic began. I would give the food three stars and the management zero.

After having eaten in the bistro and really enjoying it and then hearing real good comments I tried the takeaway service myself. Unfortunately the hotshot parmo was of low standard nowhere near as good as when we sat in. Wont be using again as a takeaway but may try the bistro again when safe to do so. Also staff had no face masks and were not following covid rules.

Only went for a coffee was welcomed in straightaway nice and clean food looked nice when going to other tables

We have eaten here many times and it does not disappoint . Even in lockdown the take aways were always first class but eating in the bistro is a lovely experience for service and food and one I can definitely recommend .

Our first visit here and it seemed pretty good overall. The prices were very reasonable especially if you arrive before 6PM and take advantage of the Happy Hour. The service was very efficient and the portions very generous, the garlic mushroom starter being enough for...

Food was good, the starters were potato skins and some kinda mozzarella dish. The potato skins were just the right side of crispy but also soft inside. I chose the garlic dip. My other half enjoyed her starter and it was all I could do to get a fork full of it. The mains were very good, although I didn't think my partner's looked up to much, she said it was absolutely lush. Staff were good, the waitress had a good personality and a sense of humour. We chose the Peroni, as I think that is all they had on tap although they had bottles of beer if you want something different. Our booking was at 19:30 on a Thursday, there was only one other couple in there eating. Two starters, two mains and 4 pints came to a reasonable £42. Will definitely be back. If anyone from the Bistro is reading this, I'd quite like to see another beer or two offered on tap and chips to be of the home cooked variety. Ta very much 😜
