The Mad Hatters Cafe in Lancaster

I would like to have given 5 stars.but was a little annoyed on Wednesday when we walked there. the weather was lovely 90/ of people that go there are dog owners.there was a number of people when I was there with dogs.. they always have water out for the dogs.. when I asked were the water bowls were the lady serving said it's not up to them to be putting water out as they have never put water out for the dogs it's the lady who lives opposite...as they don't have bowls or containers and don't put water out thought this was a bit rude when most people buying from them and relaxing there like myself and family.i may think twice before I go or recommend it for a nice walk

Lovely spot to relax after a long walk along the beautiful promenade from Morecombe. The carrot cake and chocolaty cookie were a true delight! No need to go anywhere else in Heysham!

Had a lovely stop in this open air ' gem of a place ' on the hill overlooking the beauty of Morecambe Bay and the Lake District Fells . Just finally met Angela ...the ' Mad Hatter ' herself ...a lovely lady ...we chatted about the amazing views from here !

Friendly staff. Very reasonable prices Good cup of tea and delicious cakes. Decent seating area , all outside but in the most beautiful area with stunning views.

Wow a delightful place. Great place to relax after a walk with the dogs. Clean, friendly. Sat outside there. Varied menu. Will be back

Stumbled onto this today beautiful little place the cakes and bakes were amazing lovley and moist

Awful coffee. Latte was made up of very cheap instant coffee (tasted metallic) partially stirred into microwaved milk. Still had undissolved coffee granules floating on the top. The shack and many of the benches badly needed some maintenance. A great location that needs more effort.

Nice cafe at the Heysham village end of the prom. Always a great selection of cakes, ice cream and drinks

Really love it here so peaceful and wonderful views CAKES mmmmmm and coffee and fab prices I go for coffee and scone for £3 but the place is amazing

This is a small cafe for sandwiches & hot dogs also lovely home made cakes. It's very nice and cake r excellent only outside seating but worth it for the views only 1 thing No loo 😘👍

Great little cafe close to the Prom in Heysham village

Great cakes but only savory option was hotdogs, no veggie alternative. Cash only

My kids and I always pop in here when out walking. The cakes are to die for especially the carrot cake. Staff are lovely. On a warm day its lovely to sit out and enjoy an ice cream.

Lovely outdoor spot near the beach for a drink and snack at reasonable prices.

Ate a tasty and nicely presented lunch here today - quiche with side salad and sensibly priced at £4 with tea and coffee for £1. With views across the bay just on the edge of the village centre, this is a splendid little spot.

Not very good asked for a scone with butter they used margarine spread on thick ,it was awful I felt sick ,if you have a scone you don't use margarine the coffee wasn't brilliant either I won't be going again.
