The Lunchbox Dufftown in Moray

I bought lunch here today and really wish I hadn’t bothered, the soup was supposed to be cream of mushroom but was anything but creamy. It was this with really large pieces of mushroom which were difficult to eat with a spoon. The cheese scone was a strange colour and had a really weird taste. It used to be a great place to eat but was sold recently and is to be avoided. I will not return!

We had a lovely lunch from The Lunch Box. The sandwiches were all freshly prepared and we also had cakes and drinks. The cakes were beautiful the Blondies in particular are highly recommended.

Excellent take away cafe. We had a selection of cakes and scones which were delicious. The brownies were so good that we returned to have them again. Staff very friendly and helpful.

En la ciudad de Dufftown en el camino de las destilerías recomiendo que pares y disfrutes de una gran cantidad de opciones para comer. Tienen sopa casera del día y variedad de sándwiches y wraps. Cocinan con productos de proximidad. La pareja que lo regenta es encantadora y te da sugerencias. Se nota que aman su trabajo.

Good menu and excellent value. Had a great Halloumi salad and my wife went for broccoli and spring green noodles; also fantastic. Coffee was excellent too. Recommend.

A queue out the door at lunchtime for this place! We sampled alot of the menu, toasties, halloumi slider, absolutely gorgeous homemade soup and the best Macaroni cheese I've ever had! Everything is local produce and homemade. Couple are warm and obviously enjoy what they do. Amazing value for the quality of the food. Plenty vegetarian and vegan options which is highly unusual for a small town in northern Scotland. I will be back tomorrow and will miss this place.

Been visiting for lunch all this week. Nice couple and food amazing. White chocolate cheesecake was nicest cheesecake I have ever had!!

My husband and I were doing the whiskey tour and were inbetween distilleries and looking for lunch options when we ran into this lovely place. The owners have been here 7 years and are warm and inviting. They helped us in trying local tastes. My husband had Haggis and I had Stovies. We were so excited with the options and loved the flaver. We spent 8 days traveling around northern England and Scotland and feel like this was the best spot for not only flavor but cost. If you happen to be in Dufftown give them a try.
