Lovely place to go wether just for a drink or for food xx

Cheap and cheerful. Had a good lunch and not too busy

Friendly staff, nice view from the conservatory table. Lovely ploughman's, just basic pub food but nice. Would visit again.

A really great little calm quiet pub. The attached amusements were great and safe. The only downside was the toilets, the smell of urine made my eyes water. Such a let down for a fabulous pub.

Always loads of staff on. Bingo is brilliant. Loyalty card system gets you 10% off everything for about a tenner, I've had mine a few years and it paid for itself many times over

Food was hot and tasty. The smaller portion was smaller than expected, but sufficient for a small appetite.

We visit the lookout most weekends during the summer. The food is lovely, the drinks are reasonably prices especially with the discount card. The staff are great. Can't ask for more

Just had a few days away at Winthorpe, came across the lookout pub, what a little find.... Very pleasant, food was always good, staff were brilliant, bent over backwards to help. And dog friendly to. Will definitely be coming back.....

Walked a few miles to get here, they do great coffee and food was nice . Not sure what I was expecting but a bit disappointed, not much there and apart from a not particularly great view of the sea not really sure what the point of the place was unless I missed something. Place is dog friendly and there is a seating area outside.

So much nicer inside than out, lovely atmosphere at 3.30 pm for a late lunch. Food was lovely and fresh, and very reasonably priced. Great friendly service, everyone had a good time. Dog friendly.

Can't say anything about the food as by time I got there food had stopped. It wasn't the reason for my visit anyway I went for bingo. Drinks very reasonably priced and a great atmosphere downstairs packed to the rafters with people wanting to play. Fantastic place, clean tidy toilets clean presentable it's a winner for me.

Always a nice experience. Went over the bank holiday weekend.

We had lunch here yesterday (group of 7) and it was lovely. It was clean and the atmosphere was great. The service was really good. They made a mistake with one of the orders and could apologise enough and quickly sorted it. We didn't feel rushed to leave and enjoyed another drink after. Its child friendly which is brilliant. I would definatly recommend and will be going back

Lovely food, price is fantastic everything fresh fed had full meals for a family of 5 all under 40 pound which is a bonus beinv a seaside pub, drinks was spot on with great choice was served with no wait well done Jamie and team, felt very welcome will definitely return.

Came here as I normally do, and I could only order take as it was full, when i asked if the back was open I was told that It wasn't and that the COUNCIL have a meeting, Wow its busy and they turn people away. Not good for business. They chose the council over the PUBLIC. A big space like that and was the weekend too. Their loss not mine as I now go somewhere else that accommodates my needs.

Went here this morning with my friend for breakfast, which they started today. Very good breakfast for the price 👌 👍 the only criticism I have is that the food wasn't hot enough.

We always go here when stopping in Skegness area. Prices for a pint cheaper in week than weekend and even with discount card I believe should be cheaper hence four star's not five but the kids love the arcade and I love the views with the pub being right on beach. Food reasonable prices and nice enough but not massive portions.

Great pub. I’ve been going to the lookout since it was an Espresso shed! Must have been 1969/70! Always been a great place. My kids have almost grown up there (had a caravan at Walls Lane)

Although my food was nice, my pie was very overcooked and constantly repeated on me later on. But the rest of our meals were ok...

Fantastic atmosphere with very friendly staff and locals. Excellent prices and a very decent pint. Will be my local when ever I'm over at the van. Visited twice in two evenings and both times well busy with some really good karaoke fun.

Nice family place food is nice been twice Shame that if you order food later you can't get a pudding as kitchen is then closed. Otherwise it great for the whole family & dogs. Food is good.

Most of the food is easy food not alot of prep needed, most is freezer food put in the fryer.

Typical holiday let your hair down kinda place. Typically the parents are in the pub and the kids are unattended in the arcades. Service was swift with a fair selection of drinks all served with a smile.

First time going in there and you can take your dog if it's well behaved which was lovely will be going back there

My partner took me to The Lookout as she always went when she was younger. Absolutely lovely atmosphere and extremely comforting as it reminds me of the Oasis in Ingoldmells which is where I always went when I was younger. Ordered a hot choc as I hadn't got my ID and fancied a drink, and I loved it, lovely staff, atmosphere, view and service. Only gave a 4 star when it came to food as I only ordered a drink so I cannot comment on food quality for certain.

Good food over looking the sea , dog friendly .enjoyed a lovely pint of John Smiths bitter shandy & Sunday lunch. always nice cosy friendly atmosphere.

I had the seafood platter. The food was nice, it’s a little expensive for Skegness and what it is. But the venue has a nice view towards the sea.

Toilets absolutely stink should be cleaned more often

Food, served quickly and very tasty, burgers were excellent!! Cheesey chips smothered with cheese left to melt on the chips instead of being microwaved on. We bought a plate of the homemade cottage pie to try between the two us on top of our selected meals and it was a delicious plate of cottage pie! Compliments to the chef who made it. Wish we had discovered this pub earlier into our holiday, we can't wait to return again during our next visit.

Plenty of variety and seating. Pleasant friendly atmosphere, just too many dogs inside shared where people are eating. Unpleasant smell on a wet day 'damp dog aroma'.

I have always gone to the lookout but just recently one staff in particular never smiles even though I smile and a bit rude and the toilets smell awful . The food is OK some of it anyway except for instant mash and a couple of other things . It's a dog friendly pub and you can buy a sausage for your dog and plenty of water on the bar for them however got a comment for changing baby on my knee wasn't on seats nevertheless seats are dirty anyhow from the same unfriendly non smiling member of staff if you don't like your job why don't ypu leave .. been there a number of times amd he's alway rude and not smiling
