Lovely visit as always , nice Sunday Lunch in relaxed atmosphere 😊

The Lookout is a fabulous pub / restaurant overlooking the beach, the food is all home cooked and to be honest the chef is excellent, all of the staff are really friendly and helpful, and it’s dog friendly, it has sun trap of a veranda, my wife loves going there on a Friday where from 3.00pm it’s Wine-down Friday , with a purchased discount card we get 10% off all drinks and food but also another 25% of glasses of wine or even a bottle

They have great facilities, pity they do not use the family room more, with family entertainment. It only used now and again, and doesn't start till 8ish 9ish. Really needs to start earlier. I'm going on last year. So hopefully they will use that great room. Nice new carpet.

I had a very welcoming and excellent coffee here after a very cold walk on the beach with the dogs. Could fault the service, it extremely good and proficient.

Always a good atmosphere in here . Dog and child friendly. Food is ok , nothing sparkling but reasonable prices . I just wish they would train the bar staff on how to work a bar and not have the silly queuing . The line was all the way round to the toilet . It's not haven holiday camp

Food is pretty good and service is quick and friendly. Only issue I have is the price of drinks still very expensive with discount card.

Gave 3 stars for food as it looked nice and plenty of people eating but I didn't so cannot really judge. Staff were very nice and polite,fast service. Clean toilets and nice outside area in a very busy area,couldn't even get in the 2 pubs a bit further up

I've been going in the look out for30 years .. I always feel at home and great for the kids

Good atmosphere friendly service excellent food

After ordering what I thought was roast chicken and chips ended up being some frozen chicken breasts which were as dry as a bone and looked like they had been cooked in a air fryer it was like chewing rubber, the double burger was ok and then after my 3rd bite ended up just eating rocks of gristle, my sons nuggets were burnt, chips were awful and cheap was not worth the money

A really great little calm quiet pub. The attached amusements were great and safe. The only downside was the toilets, the smell of urine made my eyes water. Such a let down for a fabulous pub.

Always loads of staff on. Bingo is brilliant. Loyalty card system gets you 10% off everything for about a tenner, I've had mine a few years and it paid for itself many times over

Food was hot and tasty. The smaller portion was smaller than expected, but sufficient for a small appetite.

Just had a few days away at Winthorpe, came across the lookout pub, what a little find.... Very pleasant, food was always good, staff were brilliant, bent over backwards to help. And dog friendly to. Will definitely be coming back.....

We visit the lookout most weekends during the summer. The food is lovely, the drinks are reasonably prices especially with the discount card. The staff are great. Can't ask for more

Didn't have food, bar staff great, live music Saturday night, great atmosphere, loved every minute.

The food is spot on it was excellent the beer and service was very good to I would highly recommend a visit to the lookout pub

Walked a few miles to get here, they do great coffee and food was nice . Not sure what I was expecting but a bit disappointed, not much there and apart from a not particularly great view of the sea not really sure what the point of the place was unless I missed something. Place is dog friendly and there is a seating area outside.

Like the place shame about the staff and visitors vape not nice as should not be allowed

So much nicer inside than out, lovely atmosphere at 3.30 pm for a late lunch. Food was lovely and fresh, and very reasonably priced. Great friendly service, everyone had a good time. Dog friendly.

Can't say anything about the food as by time I got there food had stopped. It wasn't the reason for my visit anyway I went for bingo. Drinks very reasonably priced and a great atmosphere downstairs packed to the rafters with people wanting to play. Fantastic place, clean tidy toilets clean presentable it's a winner for me.

Always a nice experience. Went over the bank holiday weekend.

We had lunch here yesterday (group of 7) and it was lovely. It was clean and the atmosphere was great. The service was really good. They made a mistake with one of the orders and could apologise enough and quickly sorted it. We didn't feel rushed to leave and enjoyed another drink after. Its child friendly which is brilliant. I would definatly recommend and will be going back

Popped in here for a break from adult Butlins shenanigans. Located on the beach. A very nice pint of Guinness with a decent full english breakfast

Lovely food, price is fantastic everything fresh fed had full meals for a family of 5 all under 40 pound which is a bonus beinv a seaside pub, drinks was spot on with great choice was served with no wait well done Jamie and team, felt very welcome will definitely return.

Came here as I normally do, and I could only order take as it was full, when i asked if the back was open I was told that It wasn't and that the COUNCIL have a meeting, Wow its busy and they turn people away. Not good for business. They chose the council over the PUBLIC. A big space like that and was the weekend too. Their loss not mine as I now go somewhere else that accommodates my needs.

We always go here when stopping in Skegness area. Prices for a pint cheaper in week than weekend and even with discount card I believe should be cheaper hence four star's not five but the kids love the arcade and I love the views with the pub being right on beach. Food reasonable prices and nice enough but not massive portions.

Great pub. I’ve been going to the lookout since it was an Espresso shed! Must have been 1969/70! Always been a great place. My kids have almost grown up there (had a caravan at Walls Lane)

Excellent all-round food service used my discount card for a good saving

Although my food was nice, my pie was very overcooked and constantly repeated on me later on. But the rest of our meals were ok...

Fantastic atmosphere with very friendly staff and locals. Excellent prices and a very decent pint. Will be my local when ever I'm over at the van. Visited twice in two evenings and both times well busy with some really good karaoke fun.

Nice family place food is nice been twice Shame that if you order food later you can't get a pudding as kitchen is then closed. Otherwise it great for the whole family & dogs. Food is good.

Most of the food is easy food not alot of prep needed, most is freezer food put in the fryer.

Typical holiday let your hair down kinda place. Typically the parents are in the pub and the kids are unattended in the arcades. Service was swift with a fair selection of drinks all served with a smile.

First time going in there and you can take your dog if it's well behaved which was lovely will be going back there

Bit pricey but that helps keep out the rif raf..so it's OK for me
