Terrible, if you like burnt burgers then it's the place for you. We will give it a miss in the future.

Worse spoons I’ve been too. The food was dry and poor. The staff didn’t care. I didn’t go for lunch to be offered stolen washing liquid or be harassed for cash I won’t be back

I attempted to visit this place today at around 4.30 PM and found the notice "Due to unforeseen circumstances we are closed. So instead I visited a fantastic REAL restaurant call Bella Roma in Lewisham. It was a fantastic experience so that you for being shut keep up the good work

Complete disaster. Food was extremely slow coming out over 1hour and half wait and when it did it was wrong. Staff didn't know the difference between fish bites and scampi. Sauce for steak came after I'd almost finished eating the steak and was not what I expected of a creamy peppercorn sauce. Won't be going back, and wouldn't advise anyone to go there.

Wow, after 13 weeks of lockdown! So where should I start. My husband & I decided to have a quick bite to eat in the Wetherspoons in Catford (Rushey Green Road). When we got there we decided to order our food via the online app thinking that it would be a straight forward process, but we were so wrong. First we waited over half an hour for our food, and with no correspondence from the manager or staff, I went to find out what was happening with the food we ordered. They looked surprised and said they would speak to to the kitchen. After another 10mins the same staff member came over to us ( it had now been over 50’mins since we ordered) to tell us the food i ordered wasn’t available and but the other order was ok and it’s way to the table. They told us to order something as a replacement for the second order. We reordered but my husbands steak when it eventually arrived was raw and I only received half of what I should of received on my plate. We were left not only very hungry but very angry and disappointed at how we had been treated. This was a terrible terrible experience, we were made fro feel so unimportant as a customer it was like they just didn’t care.

If you know Catford then this pub is just what you’d expect to find on one of its main streets. I got there at about 1pm on a Monday lunchtime. The place was full of characters worthy of a place in a sitcom. My pint of Doom Bar and the smallest jacket potato I’ve ever seen, which arrived some considerable while after it was ordered, was cunningly concealed under a pile of salad, and cost a total of just over £6. The cutlery seemed to smell of metal polish or something similar. The truth is the food wasn’t that good but it filled a gap. None of the toilet cubicle doors had a lock (you could see where they had once been) and one of the doors almost fitted the frame. The first of my two star award was for the pub itself. The second was for the characters, some of whom were outside the pub door when I left, discussing the sale of whatever was in a plastic carrier bag. £25 the lot apparently.

The service is slow, staff are ‘whatless’ and unfriendly (with the exception of one lovely woman behind the bar), the food was mediocre and didn’t taste fresh. Waiter forgot my spoon and took so long to bring me one that my ice cream melted. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and I think Wetherspoons need to check their employees better.

Ordered via the app for table service. Started well drinks delivered super quick. Main took a little longer. Ribs and chicken with onion and chips. Microwaved ribs, oily onion rings, good chips, chicken like leather. Asked for some softer chicken after finishing meal a small plate of over cooked chicken dropped on table... 15 minute wait for 2 small scoops of ice cream on hard brownie. Poor. Unusual.

My daughter and I had dinner here on a Saturday night, the menu definitely had something for everyone! We had olives, Chicken Wings and Prawns to start followed by Sea Bass and Veal, every dish was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and professional. We had cocktails to finish which were delicious also. Definitely recommend and worth a visit.

If your idea of pub is being eyeballed and intimidated by groups of thugs who bring their own drink, "asking" for money, cigarettes and the use of your mobile phone then this is the place for you.

I regularly visit this pub for Breakfast and to do a quiz with my friends first thing in the morning. Compared to other establishments/places, offering similar food, the price of breakfast is great. After buying tea/coffee fill-ups are then free. Try doing that in Sainsbury’s Cafe or Costa. Oh, and the coffee price is significantly cheaper to start with. The bar staff are well trained and extremely efficient thanks to a great Manager who whips them into shape. The building is uninspiring, like a warehouse with carpet, enhanced by nice Christmas decorations and muliple fruit machines. There is always a good selection of beers / real ales to be had at incredible prices. Compare a night out here with a trip to the expensive Blackheath establishments which I also frequent. They now have a selection of Pizzas on their new Menu. As a sometime “winner” I recommend doing the Bonus Ball which they run weekly for the Clic Sargent Children’s charity at £1 a try. Just ask the Bar Staff. JBK

What’s more to say... awesome food... awesome prices... Went in for breakfast with 9 people... our total was a “more than reasonable” £38. The “Large Breakfast” was almost more than I could eat. Going to go with the “Small Breakfast” tomorrow.

If I remember correctly way back this was the site of a hardware merchant in a line of forgotten style of shops. This branch is unmissable with it's beautifull flowers bedecking the frontage. Like all Wetherspoons they offer the standard fayre, no more no less. The staff are attentive and friendly as are the locals. it is the perfect place for relaxing meal or drink before/after Catford shopping, visits to the Town Hall/Theatre (across the road) or Lewisham Hospital (c. 500 metres).

After roughly an hour on a bus from Victoria, we arrived here, in need of the next half pint! Not much to say as we were only here minutes. Clean and not too busy on this Tuesday afternoon. So up the road we head to Lewisham, roughly a mile...

Cuando comí aquí me pareció la comida llegó muy rápido. La segunda vez que comimos allí lo cronometré y fue 7 minutos que me quedé muy impresionado. También es agradable ser preguntó si la comida está bien. Me gusta la actitud que ella tiene poca barlady pero en un buen sentido.

For the prices the food is actually pretty good. Some staff are a bit rude and unhelpful, but all in all if you want a cheap place to eat you can't fault it.

Pedimos la comida y la bebida de la mesa en un teléfono app y el servicio era bastante bueno. No hay comida sorpresas, no lo que dice el menú. El comer un poco de esfuerzo. Mi hamburguesa vegetal estaba seco y con el follón que se va. El pollo burger también fue aparentemente en el lado seco. Afortunadamente, teníamos la pinta con hamburguesas ofrecen para ayudar a mojarlo. Lugar de buen tamaño con muchas mesas para elegir.

Muchos tipos de cerveza, carta amplia y bien de precio. Es lo que se ve. Buen ambiente , típico bar inglés con gente del barrio reunida bebiendo y comiendo .Muy correcto. No es comida para turistas.

I drink in here with the lads all the timeTheir was an unsavoury incident in June which I won't go into but we all decided to boycoutt the pub for 6 months to show our anger. However I have to say it's good to be back drinking in there. The staff are friendly. Food good. Clientele entertaining. Toilets clean. Space for up to 4 mobility scooters parking in entranceway at any one time which isn't a issue for us now since big janes death but still good to know if you have a fat family.Peace.

As a special Christmas family treat we visited the Rye Restraunt in Catford S.E. London. It was easy to find, parking in nearby Road. Watch out parking meters not working. Meal Excellent and my daugher( a chef) enjoyed red wine with her steak. Dont get the table at the rear. On one side it is the Mens and the other Ladies loo! With never a dull moment.

This pub has the right cosy lighting levels for a Wetherspoons. There are plenty of tables and overall the pub is spacious. Standard food and drink per Wetherspoons which suits me.

I love Wetherspoons pubs.I'd never been to this one but was really impressed with the polite staff, good food ( curry club was on ) and the friendly atmosphere.If only popped in for a quick drink before ' Blood Brothers ' over at Catford Theatre and I'm very glad I did.Nice and clean and tidy inside.Nice outside seating area with flowers.5 worthy stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ho mangiato diverse volte in questo locale a distanza di un anno e lo consiglio a chiunque si trovi da quelle parti. Tanto spazio, arredo in legno, tranquillità, personale cordiale e buon cibo ad un ottimo prezzo (siamo a Londra).Si ordina al bancone, dove ci si prende anche da bere, si paga subito e si aspettano al proprio tavolo i piatti. Oltre agli hamburger ben fatti, straconsiglio la Doombar Pie che, servita con piselli e purè di patate, vi sistema il pranzo per soli 6 pound.Altra nota di merito va alla loro supergolosa cheesecake al caramello.Ci sono anche dei tavolini all'aperto per la bella stagione.Piuttosto frequentato da gente del posto, il che non guasta. Who of us has not looked forward to their first Christmas lunch of the Yule season with relish. So my disappointment in service, and the meal was not a high light of my day!The time between first course being finished and the main was 3/4 of an hour and not worth the wait. I had to leave to be on time for my next appointment, so could not have any dessert, (for which I paid).This pub is known locally for being friendly, and helpful, but let itself down very badly. The luncheon price was cheap, so perhaps I have no call to complain, however, perhaps instead of pandering to the masses, it might of been better to charge £12 a head and provide a better quality of meal, for those who choose to have their seasonal lunch at a pub. After all rolled pressed turkey meat does not a turkey make!

As with all Wetherspoons you know what to expect with the food - nothing fancy but well-cooked and well priced. This place is no different, food is fine.My issue is with the beer selection, specifically the real ale. There always seems to be at least three and at times four beers labelled 'available soon'. I'm not interested in coming back tomorrow, I want a selecion now!Once the regular beers are noted there's only two or sometimes three guest ales to choose from. Normally fine but a choice is waht I am used to at a 'spoons.

...... and certainly not the best! Offers cheap beer in acceptable surroundings. Good job they don't have a swear box in here though! A good variety of beers and half decent food. Not much more to say about it other than handy free WiFi!

this pub has gained popularity since the one opposite-ish closed.its a typical wetherspoons.cheapish beer,food for the [desperately] hungry and a small outside area for smokers.nothing to specially commend it from all the other wetherspoons in london but its useful for a place to rest and have a drink or two on a hot day or when the reason for being in catford is done.ive been here many times but would not call myself a 'regular'.i like the european bottled lagers and my friends like the british bitters.all available at a 'reasonable' price...not my idea as a place for a 'night-out' though !
