Awful from start to finish. The staff were clueless and the food and drinks were mediocre at a push. Loaded fries were more like semi dusted with topping and straight out of the freezer. The buttermilk chicken burger was more like a mini chicken fillet. When we complained we were met with a staff member who obviously wasn’t trained to deal with complaints as her response was ‘you keep complaining’! I would not recommend this restaurant and I find it strange how they claim to have hundreds of happy customers but only a handful of reviews on TA. Work out what you are. Are you a cocktail bar or a restaurant? May I also suggest that if you are the owner you maybe spend a bit more time working at your own restaurant and also train your staff.

Food terrible. Bad selection of ale's. Bad cocktails. Bad atmosphere. Lovely owner. Wouldn't recommend . Not sure why it doesn't have any other bad reviews. NEVER heard anything good about this place but not several people of would agree with me.

Being local this is somewhere we were aware of but never contemplated visiting. Impromptu evening out waiting to collect our daughter from Kaboodles Salon opposite. Thursday night 2 cocktails for £10 bargain and lovely. Tapas were really good value and delicious - we opted for mushrooms, squid, haddock, mac&cheese and fries. Really lovely. Staff attentive. Exceeded our expectations and thoroughly enjoyed our unplanned evening out. The bill was very reasonable too!

Invited friends out…..last minute. We’ve long been fans of Paul, The Loft and his team. Friends loved it and would definitely return. Always excellent cocktails. Offshore was lovely. Burgers - high quality. It’s great to have somewhere that’s welcoming at the top of town for food, drinking and chatting. Brilliant!

What a lovely surprise to find a cocktail bar in Kingsbridge that had live music playing last night by a super duo.. singer and guitarist, they made it! Great atmosphere and we were given a warm welcome by the team. Very attentive customer service. We decided to have food as we had a table and many places in Kingsbridge mean that you have to book ahead. We had the Nachos which were veggie and very tasty, the scampi with lime and Mayo and fries, very tasty! So great to experience live music again!! Watch out Food stops serving at 9pm. Enjoy!

Tasty tapas & burgers washed down with great cocktails, we couldn't have asked for more. Highlight was the squid & dirty fries. The place feels really chilled & cosy & the staff were super helpful & friendly. I would definitely recommend a trip to the loft.

Unfortunately extremely overpriced and very limited choice. Is not what Sailor V was in previous years! Wouldn't waste my time going back... Plenty of nicer venues in the centre of town at more reasonable prices

The coffee is great and the best prices around for the quality and size. The light bites were delicious, again very well priced for what you get. Would definitely recommend if you aren’t too fussed about coffee with a view or environment or brand name.

Beautifully situated on the waterfront, opposite Queen Anne's Battery Marina. Wonderful panoramic views in all directions and a hot spot if you catch the sun right. Outside decor and furniture's not all that and could do with an update but the food, wine and service is divine. I only had a starter and was pleasantly surprised - king prawns I chorizo and garlic cream based sauce, served with garlic buttered Ciabataa on the side, & a wedge of lemon. I also had a glass of Pinot Noir Della Venezie, sharp, crisp and delisch with the food.
