Good pub, Good service, Can't comment on food never tried it

Popped in to just grab a drink with the kids. Sat outside. Staff very pleasant.

Don't think they do food but their prices are reasonable and there's a decent atmosphere.

Up and coming pub. With bingo getting the crowds in.

Great refurb, great pub. Made us and the dogs feel very welcome, five stars.

Lovely food and the staff were great very friendly.

Food and service were 4 stars. Building is a bit tired and outdated. Serious lack of heating ❄️. Not somewhere to take kids to eat due to the locals in the bar area and their bad language. This was an early evening visit.

Was great night to start with great staff but served people way too drunk. Manager don't think likes criticism as I pointed out about this got a rude reply and said I no longer welcome. I thought be better than putting on trip advisor etc but oh well

It's a nice place for a wee drink and meeting up with people before a big night out

Nice pizza....well worth the money with the beer included. Good local pub with good friendly banter. Could have done with the heating up 1 notch but I'm a cauld tattie at best of times. Defo recommend this place.

What can I say spent a fantastic day at the lochar last sunday brilliant crowd of people with live music with the very talented Haig mculloch and guest appearance by the wonderful Scott sneddon made my day oh and I nearly forgot a guest appearance also made by the late Billy the tyrefitter Smith's granddaughter on the bagpipes fantastic I hear she could be playing on new years day
