Wonderful wee place, well worth a visit if you want to buy a delicious takeaway lobster or crab lunch. We bought small tubs of lobster salad, it was so tasty and fresh, and they were only £6 each. It was our favourite meal of our holiday. There are a couple of picnic tables outside, if you want to eat beside the small harbour. You can also order online for collection, they sell amazing seafood platters. They sell some nice gifts too. The Lobster Shop is not too far from St Cyrus Beach, if you are looking to buy a picnic.

The best lobster and chips I’ve had this year …and this includes an Edinburgh Gastro Pub…and other lobster shacks along the East Neuk of Fife. We had lobster and chips with aioli, and salad. Great presentation ….exceptional flavour, and very reasonably priced. Lots of other tasty treats, crab and lobster rolls, and dressed crab. Other upmarket gifts and specialities which are a change from a lot of the tartan tatt that is normally on offer!

This spot is absolutely amazing for a quick lunch outside if weather permits, giving you a beautiful view of the harbour, we were watching the dolphins play as we enjoyed our lunch. My partner and I shared a half lobster with chips, a lobster toastie and a lobster roll as we were there to indulge and everything was absolutely delicious. The half lobster just melted in your mouth and the garlic butter was heavenly. Even the chips were cooked to perfection and better than chipper chips! My only not as positive remark would be that the lobster toastie could have had a bit more lobster in it as I think they skimped out a little which is a shame as I really enjoyed the lobster cooked that way but I would maybe not order it again as you don't get much in it. Overall we were so impressed at the food and how reasonably priced it is considering you pay a lot more for a half lobster and chips five minutes down the road in Gourdon. If you can order online first to avoid disappointment I would recommend you do so as you can actually see how much stock they have in which is really handy! I tried to order in the morning to collect at lunch time but I believe you can't order on the same day to collect however you can order to collect the next day. Amazing! We will be back very soon for sure

Went especially to visit the Lobster Shop and wasn't disappointed. Excellent lobster and chips with a lovely aioli. Took away a lobster roll and a crab roll to eat later - both of which were delicious. Great food, really well priced and lovely, friendly service.

Not a lot to say, one of the best chippies in the Broch and their red pudding is delicious.

This Bistro is as good as it gets, there again last Saturday evening with friends and had an excellent dinner. Great starters of scallops & soup, lobster mains and one other main which escapes me, oh and managed a sweet, fabulous. A few drinks including a couple of bottles of wine, very. The sad news is, we were told it was closing permanently the following evening Sunday and it has, due to lack of business which is a terrible shame. We travelled all the way up from Laurencekirk picking up friends en-route as we have done in the past. It a shame an establishment like this have closed.

It's a bar in Garioch that sells fish, chips and Pizza. I am now 2 stone heavier but happy.

I was disappointed the last time I used it and again when I tried it recently. Found the servers rude and the food choices need updating. Don't they realise people have food intolerences?
