Nice atmosphere, friendly welcome, polite staff, fast service, nice pint, recommended.

Visited twice during the daytime in the last week. Beer is OK and a reasonable price. The bar area is clean and the staff are friendly. The gents toilets upstairs absolutely stinks, it takes your breath away as soon as you open the door. The urinals clearly do not flush as often as they should and the extract fans don't seem to work. Chewing gum stuck to the walls. Was the same on both visits so can't be put as a one off.

They don't serve food but everything else was good.

2 for 1 alcopops - not too bad, staff seemed pleasant enough. The night we visited there was a good band on, so stayed a while longer. The only thing which has deemed this place a 2 star is the toilets - Don't use them- There was a horrible fishy smell in the ladies toilets upon entry (as if the sanitary bins hadnt been emptied for ages) made us gag, so left straight away. I did put it down to it being towards the end of the night, but looking at a few other reviews on here, it seems as though this has been an ongoing thing which hasn't been resolved

"PUB?" Unless the Oxford English have change description, this place is far from a "PUB". Our glasses looked as though they had been washed in used chip fat. The drink was disgusting, so much so; that what little we endured; both the wife and myself ended up vomiting elsewhere. Pointless to complain as the staff were monosmyballic. Toilets... I was prepared to excrete on the main road or Redcar beach rather than risk using them once I had located them. All in all, worth a visit to verify never going again. Would have took photos, but risky to get your phone or wallet out in a place like that.

The toilets are the most revolting thing I’ve ever seen . It’s the worst smell I’ve ever smelt in my life . I had to come out as I was almost sick .

Drinks are cheap but the glasses had lipstick all over and the women’s toilets stinks of fish you could smell as you got from the top of the stairs. A lot of people were complaining about it!

Great pub with two floors, always a pretty lively atmosphere, drinks a punch machine upstairs. Staff are really good too

Overcharged me for drinks! Always check the transaction before tapping. Disgusting business practice, especially when people are already struggling, and have kindly popped in to support your business. But you’ve decided to steal from them!

Good position spacious excellent prices. Not all products on when we visited and staff could have been friendlier.

Awful drinks selection, absolute dregs. Carlsberg, John Smith's etc. No decent premium alternatives. Same woeful experience this bar has been for 20 years.

Poor pub, and most of the lager pumps were out of service.

Charging an extra quid a pint after 7 o'clock without any advertising is an absolute joke.

We really enjoyed our night out in the Livery it's such a great atmosphere and the people are very friendly the karaoke was good too all the staff were very friendly too good night all round

Carlsberg only £1.95 a pint but it tasted awful could be a one off but I can only review what I experienced

Such an amazing place to go always a lovely atmosphere never disappointed when i go there. The staff are so lovely and friendly and yoi can have such a great laugh with them never a boring night. The young girl asha is always lovely and welcoming and is great at what she does. The management is perfect and always lovely to the customers highly recommend.

Absolutely discusting service spoke to rude and blonde barmaid didnt catch her name because i didnt have a phone number she snatched the drinks from us and said leave totally rude

Parmo was pretty good for a pub. Nice big chunky chips were great. Audience was typical lunch time drinker, smoker, non-worker crowd. Smells like a 90s pub (pre smoke ban).

Been a suprise 60th there ..upstairs was a good night ..prices fair ect...ate there a few times on a Sunday a long time ago now n use time to enjoy it ..

Had a parmo, it was spot on, the chicken was nice and thick, moist and thick

Don't let the outside put you off. Good pub grub, well cooked, good portions, nice menu, waitress & bar staff lovely.

Went in for lunch with hubby and daughter. Took over 45 mins for food to arrive and it was cold. Complained and it returned hot and we got free desserts. Lady who brought them was very nice about it all but we wont be returning

Good atmosphere. Two pound fifty for a pint of Guinness brilliant. You can not get better then that. The bar staff are brilliant as well.

Walked in and felt welcome straight away. All l did was walk in and look at menu when one of the bar staff and one of the locals recommended a few items not only to eat but a nice refreshing cider. As l work close to redcar if lm not going home at the weekend l will definitely be coming back here.

Cheap beer quite dirty not nice clientele

Might have had more * if the bar had been ready to go. The till wasn't live. The lemonade and cola weren't connected, the draught beer, lager, cider were all still on water. The function room had been booked for weeks.

We both had breakfasts it was a mess slopped on the plate our coffee arrived 15 minutes before the meals arrived so we had to order more (was this the plan) the table was sticky everything needed a good wash we won't be going back anytime soon. Sorry

This is a bit of a dive, dimly lit, but something about it is welcoming: the prices. Cannot go wrong with such cheap prices for dinner and for pints. Even do a deal where you get two meals for £6.95, was a satisfactory place to go.

Excellent staff. They are willing to change the menu at a drop of a hat. Tables could do with a clean but ale sound and priced ok

I had my daughters 18th here, the staff were great, really helpful and the food was beautiful. The only downfall was it is a bit scruffy, the decor is old.

Average place, not much in the way of beers, good for a dance.

I went on Saturday 24th September 2016. Ordered 4 meals all arrived cold. The gravyboat was at fridge temperature. They were taken back to the kitchen and all arrived back hot, including the salad. All meals were disgusting. The bread bun and steak were rock-hard probably because they had thrown it into the microwave. We complained to no effect. This pub has loads of potential bar staff were really nice but it shouldn't be serving food.
