Live music on a Friday night, great selection of beers, clean and friendly

Well for a start, you carn’t go wrong calling this pub the little bull. Every window has a blue bull printed on it. At the front of pub is a big blue bull printed on it. The entrance door is blue. The window blinds are blue. Inside the decoris blue. They took out the two log open fires. They took away all the bar stools. Theirs a bandit gambling slot money machine standing at the bar now. Bandit gambling mchines in the pool table room. I got half glass of sparkling cider. I gave a ten pound note to the bar tender. He was busy and looking and talking to his next customer. I had my change nearly thrown at my hand and missed. I was not impressed. I visited the pub a few months ago. I got a pint of John smiths bitter. I took the glass of John smiths outside and sat on the new bench. I was waiting for my bus. The bustop right outside the little bull. My bus came before I had time to drink my John smiths. I got on the bus with my pint of John smiths in my coat pocket. The bus driver did not see me. The manager of the little bull was watching everything. He saw me getting on the bus with a pint glass of John smiths. I was unaware of this. I didn’t mean to do it. I wasn’t thinking straight. Next time I went in the little bull. The manager was ready for me. He said I should be barred. He served me a drink. I have since on my eBay. Bought the manager of the little bull. Pint glass of John smiths. Costing me £8.50.I have it right now and I’m taking the glass down to the little bull today at 2pm. They do not serve cooked food. Or even a cold sandwich. Just crisps and nuts. Round the back of the blue little bull. They have took away all the garden furniture and umbrella shades. All the swings and slide have gone. Their is a couple of benches with no umbrella shades. Recently refurbed. Lovely pub, good prices & plenty of parking.

Absolutely disgusted that this establishment charges £2.80 for a pint of soda water which at the end of the day is carbonated water. I refused to pay and asked for tap water which meant this was thrown away as tap water cannot be charged for.

We came yesterday for a Sunday lunch and it was amazing. The food was outstanding and the service fab. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be back!

Just a proper pub with friendly staff, good local ales and great home cooked food, if you order food it might take a while as its made and cooked to order. Sunday lunch is great and the range of puddings, home made, is terrific. Very dog friendly and really good at looking after the older members of the family.

If I could have a pub of my own, this pub would be the choice,

What can I posts. BEST FOOD IN THIS WORLD. that's what I've got to posts. I'm lucky to live local, soo I can visit, the little bull, regular. For my meals. If you live out of town. The little bull food nights, are well worth the travel, to visit. Weather your journey, be by car, train, bus, taxi. The little bull. Famous map. A must to visit. Such great calm go happy. Atmosphere and good vibes. From all bar staff. Always the staff are friendly and have a nice ☺ smile on their faces. To great you and meet you. Every time you arrive. at little bull. The food in the restaurant. Is all cooked from skratch fresh. Home made pie pastry. All pie steak and mince, from local butchers. Plenty of ale behind the bar, for cooking and filling, inside the pies. Such tender meat. Mashed potatoes are all fluffy, smooth and tasty. Garden peas & home made gravy. The fried fish and homemade, crispy fish batter. It's proper tasty. I have cold pints of soda water with ice. Refreshing drink all the time. Sometimes I have, cold pint of dark fruits cider. Such a moreish drink. At the bar in the little bull. Their is such a wide variety of larger, pale ale, ciders. Wines, champagne. Cocktails of all colours. Honestly you should take time to visit the little bull. I bet you end up. Going again and again. Thanks for reading my review.

It was OK....apart from people trying to drown out the karaoke singers with their loud drunken talking. It was very unnecessary for them to spoil other people's fun.

Very good and covid conscious, a good convivial atmosphere.

Really friendly staff and atmosphere. Attended a well organised socially distanced fund raiser for the air ambulance. I haven't tried their food but I have heard good things from regulars. I felt very safe and that all covid rules were adhered to and organised/signed well.

Great local pub with a very warm welcome. Carpark and large beer garden at the side. Lots of events are held here and everyone is looked after.

I like the little bull, a nice family orientated pub, it's not to big or too small, just the right size go there anytime of the day and you will receive the same smiling face day or night.

4 of us went for a drink before going for a curry elsewhere; never been before but got a really warm welcome; service and atmosphere was great.

Lovely friend of ours Mel she is the landlady. Fabulous food. Clean pub. Always good to us. Homemade pies, various flavours. Everything freshly made, all homemade as far as I know. Cheesecakes are to die for. Little rooms all separate, I call it a rabbit Warren, good old fashioned pub. Toilets so clean, little extras in ladies, body spray, hair styler, just lovely small touches, make it so nice. Well worth spending a bit extra here. Great playground for kiddies. Kiddie meals. Car park. Beer festival, gin nights, pie nights all goes off here. Love going here, bit out of our way since no car now. Will be going again.

Great pub great food fab Landlady and staff well worth a visit

Nice friendly pub, we popped in on the off chance, ended up staying for a meal and even had a game of darts. Staff were busy but friendly at same time. Our meal was excellent. A pleasant Yorkshire experience.

Very hospitable. Excellent food and friendly service. Lovley quaint little pub with outside areas, small children's area outside. Car park to rear. Various evenings with different food themes, Wednesday pie night, last Saturday of every month gin night, all not to be missed, worth a try just for the lovely food at very fare prices.
