The Little Bistro in East Lindsey

Food was OK. Steak was tough no offers of any sauces on menu. Chicken on the pasta didn't looked cooked and there wasn't much sauce which was a shame as it was had a nice flavour. Pasta was stuck together. Garlic bread Slices was soft never had soft garlic bread before. But tasted ok.onions rings were nice.side salad was good. Lasagne tasted like frozen not fresh wasn't particular hot. Chipes were nice as they were homemade! Food came out super quick. Drinks we ok but no presentation in lemonade & lime no ice, no straw. The lady served us was nice. But etiquette for staff needs attention. There 7 of them standing in bar area chatting talking about travellers thanks that's family. Just seemed rude as it was like sitting in a staff room and rather of putting hearing their conversations! Isnt good. After we paid, they didnt even say thanks or good buy just left us to walk out. While still chatting They never asked how the food was once, which was a shame. As photos of it look lovely. They did fit us in quickly, which was good. Place is nicely decorated.

The food was OK but the staff wanted to charge me for the ice in my glass of water!

Always been a great place to visit, welcoming staff, good food, what's not to like, maybe be hard to replace as closing on Monday 5 February 2024 , after 3& half years , wish you all success with your next journey 💓

Gave it a try now I visit every time I am in Skegness, food good quality at a reasonable price, specials are excellent quality at an affordable price, whats not to like, going into Skegness specially Sunday to have Sunday lunch.

My sister & I came to have lunch a few weeks before Christmas, been a few times before food always pretty good, we sat upstairs by the fire, didn't really wait long for food, my plate was put Infront of me & there was a hair on my plate, I took the food back downstairs & showed them. My food came again & i did wait hardly anytime for my "fresh food". I know the hair had been just taken off the plate & put under a heat lamp as my side salad was hot & the lettuce was wilted. There was no offer of a discount or even a free drink nothing just an apology.

Well we've been 3 times now for their £5 lunchtime special, their Christmas 3 course dinner and on the 3rd occasion the normal menu. The staff are very friendly and as lovely as the food. All in all its a special little place. ❤️

Went here yesterday after hearing good things about the food. Booked a table and my friend and I were impressed by the cosiness and welcome feel. We decided to go upstairs to eat and on bringing out the food we were amazed at portion size the food was hot, presented well and tasted delicious. Fresh veg lovely gravy. Can't fault it we will be back.

Our 3rd time here and the food is good. The mains seem to be all home-made, including the chips, which are very nice and non-greasy, so that is a bonus! 😊 Prices are reasonable and they usually have a deal on for two people which include a meal and alcoholic drink. A few nice homemade options too. It is a small place, with upstairs seating, and at the moment it is clean and Christmassy! They do Sunday Roasts but I have not tried them yet. I would give them 4 and a half stars if I could, but I don't think you would be disappointed with your meal here. Give it a try if you like quieter, cosy places, then it's very worth a try!

Lovely tasty meals. Have lunchtime specials everyday for 5 pound. (One of my favourite places to go in Skegness.) Lovely cosy atmosphere. Tasty food and goid prices. Can buy alcohol too.

My scampi was nice .husband's burger been warmed in microwave cob was soggy waited over half an hour for food shame

Absolutely amazing home cooked food for a family of 6. Children's portions were amazing and out kids loved the ice cream included. The adult meals were fresh and home cooked. Throughly recommend this restaurant to other potential customers. Also dog friendly.

We had the £5 special here today. The special was a full on roast pork dinner. Honestly, we couldn't believe the generous portion on our plates. The food was very tasty. Absolutely good value for money and can thoroughly recommend. We also had some homemade pumpkin cheesecake which was delicious. Will definitely be back.

We came here in the morning after we got off the train from london and the quality of fhe food was well last our expectations. I goy the full english and it was fresh, gooey and delicious 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area.

Lovly little place for a bite to eat

A tiny place with an interesting food offer and original brands of craft beer. I was here for a while and I only drank a beer called Wolfpack which was very good. Very nice staff, happy to advise you on beer selection. I will definitely come back here when in Skegness to try the local cuisine.

Lovely find off the main Skegness high street. Food and service were brilliant, dog friendly outside, the only minor negative was the choice of music, as we're not in that age group. The music is more for 20+ not 50+ lol. Just an observation.

We had the days special offer, was scampi and chips peas , for £5 pounds, each, was lovely, going on Sunday for dinner, 😋🍷🍷🍷, 👌

Asked for poached eggs on toast they looked more like fried eggs.

It's a lovely place staff friendly and the food was amazing 😍 we weren't sure if to go here as daughter worked there when it was called Christopher's and they were awful caused her massive anxiety but thankfully after visiting the little bistro and how lovely they were we will definitely be going again ❤️ highly recommend 👍🏻

This was the worst chicken burger I have ever had can't say eat as it was raw couldn't even put my fork into it good job I eat with cutlery and lucky i did not give it to one of my children. Didn't even get an apology We wil NEVER eat here again

Visited here twice within a few days. Food was phenomenal but unfortunately they didn't have the lamb shank on either occasion.

I just had lunch at the Little Bistro in Skegness and I honestly can say the scampi and chips with the homemade sauce was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this place , excellent food, great value, friendly staff and all in all a very cosy place.👍👍👍👍👍

I used to live in Skegness and still commute to work there a couple of days a week, but I don't go into the town centre much. I met a friend for lunch and I didn't know that this place was under new ownership to be honest, nor that it was now a bistro/restaurant. So I went thinking it was still the cafe it was before. Well what an unexpected suprise because OMG, it is out of this world now. It's had a nice revamp and wow, such delicious food that knocks the sock off most of the restaurants in Skegness. I'm vegetarian and there is plenty of choice. I had the cheese and broccoli bake, which at a lot of places I've found can be fairly average, but here it was so flavoursome. Yes it's a small place, but it's a delight to dine in, and the service is excellent. The owner/chef is friendly, welcoming and checked in with us to ensure we were having a good meal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to both locals and visitors!

Absolutely lovely food, friendly staff, had baby buggy and dog with us. Was not a problem even carried buggy upstairs for us. Would highly recommend this place. Great value for money and proper homestyle, cooked food. Will be going back again.

Excellent food every time. The little Bistro do a large range of dishes that are not only quality but always nicely presentedand and delicious. The best vegetarian lasagne in skegness!. We won't waste our money going anywhere else.

I would recommend anyone to dine here , first rate friendly service was made to feel very welcome , I had the salmon with the prawn and white wine sauce , it was absolutely delicious , good value for money , the portion size was plenty , I never usually eat a full plate of food , but it was so tasty and well cooked I ate the lot , amazing place sums this place up

Glad we saw the sign from the road to this little gem. Excellent all round, food, service, staff and atmosphere. Good value for money. All home cooked with the right amount on the menu to support that. One on the must do list for each time we visit Skegness.

We didn't have any food but I'm sure it would be very nice and tasty. We only had a Latta and it was warm but not hot.

We always visit when we are in the area, many pleasant lunches sat in the sun. A decent selection of different dishes even including a few English favourites. You'll get a couple of little treats with your drinks and can even have a pot of tea!

We popped into The Little Bistro for lunch, I will say the food was good, not fantastic or outstanding but it was good The coffee was also good however they could not froth the soya milk :( at least they have non dairy options :) The service was also good, there was a big party in at the same time and considering this this was perfectly fine I will say TLB is a lovely place and well decorated inside, overall it is good but only a 9 out of 10 but still recommend

This bistro might be small but the food was delicious and the waitress was so friendly and helpful.

Saw the sign advertising where it was so I thought I can walk 80 yards get in there a lovely warm welcome order took at the table and the best pumpkin latte I've had Sandwiches were so nice too I will be back

Went for a meal here was Fabulasse the place is Spotlessly n the the staff are so Freindly.Well the food was 5*****+++.It's the best place we've been to in Skegness. Will be using this More often in the new Season.

Nice little place, just what Skegness needs. Just off the main drag with parking nearby. I had one of their speciality burgers and it was great. The place is licensed so you can enjoy a beer too. Pleasant staff. Nice interior and outdoor seating. Not the usual hideous garish dated fast food dumps full of nimble fat people on mobility scooters that abound in the area.

We had the seafood platter. The portions are smaller than last year. Also the fish was cooked in old oil. They was really good last year. Very sad 😞

Very dark inside dosnt feel particularly inviting. We had toasted tea cake and a coffee. It was OK nothing more special than having one at a cafe but the price would suggest diffrent. The staff seem nice but not very welcoming. We all have bad days though and maybe this was one. I wish them all the luck in the world but sadly its not for me x

The staff are always friendly and the food is delicious. However, the restaurant is very small and has no disabled access to the toilet as it's upstairs.

Found a little gem, breakfast was lovely went 3times I had a different choice every visit, then went back for an evening meal, party of 4 adults we all enjoyed very much, staff very friendly and nothing was to much trouble, we will be back.

Had a wonderful High tea. Sandwiches, sausage rolls, pork pie, cheese and onion, Cakes with huge scones with clotted cream. Plus tea coffee and a glass of prosecco. Definitely recommend 👌 👍
