Had tickets to see Yam Yam Elvis with Bottomless Brunch on Sunday 9th June. Entertainment was great, the food was superb, plenty of it and excellent variety of dishes. Atmosphere and service was, as always, fantastic. Definately hope they do it again. Great value and a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Recommend fully.

Booked the Lion for family party for 20. They provided a great buffet, really nice quality and plenty of hot food which we much prefer. The staff are great. Jude organized everything for us and made sure we had a great night. Lots of people seem to eat here around tea time, nice and busy and the food's good. Highly recommend this place.

Had a family get together of around 30 we were made really welcome great selection of drinks and good food for those who ate great garden for the children. Thank you for being so accommodating.

I had Broccoli and Stilton soup which was obviously home made and delicious. I had the curry as a main, and again home made and an excellent creamy taste. Good value for money, I’ve no hesitation in recommending a visit if you’re in the area.

We held a "Celebration of Life" here for our mother and Jude could not do enough for us. It was the first time we had visited this lovely pub. It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and we immediately felt at home. The event went well. Myself and my daughter both have food intolerances and Jude went out of her way to assure us that she understood and would make sure that there was no cross contamination in the kitchen. She even went out and bought us special vegan alternatives and kept our food away from everyone else's food. Encouraged by this we held a second event this week for family after the interment of our mother’s and father’s ashes. This time my 8-yr. old granddaughter was present and she also has severe, multiple food allergies. As a family we rarely eat out due to these allergies. Once again Jude excelled herself. My granddaughter really felt safe and enjoyed the food that was cooked for her. We can definitely recommend this pub and Jude is an absolute gem along with all her friendly staff. Many thanks Jude.
