Absolute top place to eat chill and chat. The owners a Mum and Daughter are just lovely the food is amazing and it feels like you are visiting an old friend. Dogs are more than welcome and my bichon Oscar loved it Doggy menu too. Thank you both see you next year Alison Ian and Oscar.

After a lot of research, we chose this cafe, to have a breakfast whilst on holiday!! And we were not disappointed!! Extremely friendly and welcoming! Food was very tasty and hot!! Reasonable priced too! The two ladies that run it, were lovely. Would definitely visit this lovely cafe again.!! Thank you.

My wife and I like to go out for a cooked breakfast on a Sunday every few weeks as a treat as it's the only day we both get off work together. Like to try different places and we have come across The Lime Tree in Shanklin. Glad I did!! This is now our favourite place for a decent cooked breakfast. Absolutely lovely! Decent sausages, best I've had on a breakfast! Bacon also top notch!! Mushrooms, eggs (could have fried or scrambled, I always go fried!) Beans were decent and plum tomatoes. Normally the toast is just the basic cheapo bread but they clearly use decent stuff, the brown bread was a lovely seeded one. They definitely don't scrimp on quality of all the produce and it shows. The presentation was also quality ! Decent cuppa. Like I say, best brekkie on the Isle of Wight!! If I was to be super critical, the only thing I can say that could be improved would be the hash brown, I thought they where just a bit greasy, could have been a bit crunchier, but that may be just my personal choice. Only one thing could make this breakfast better and that would be some black pudding for me. Really freindly staff too which makes a difference! Would definitely want to go back for lunch if the breakfast is anything to go by. Not only do they do all this they also cater for Doggy Parties!! Fantastic place!!

Such a friendly family run cafe. Nothing is to much trouble. Very, very dog friendly - even have their own Doggy Wall of Fame!. Food is very reasonably priced and comes piping hot. You are offered an alternative to any item you want to change. Crayons and pictures to colour for the youngers to keep them entertained as well.

I have had both breakfast and lunch at the Lime Tree. Both were excellent, great choices for both Vegans and Vegetarians. However my husband who does eat meat thought the sausages were great and one of the best breakfasts he has ever had especially for the price. Also very good service we would both thoroughly recommend the Lime Tree.

We discovered this lovely cafe had moved into bigger premises across the road. The lattes are still good, but the cafe area feels cramped. Staff helpful and friendly, but feel it's lost its lovelines

As Aussies we are critical of coffee as our culture is addicted to it. Here we had a coffee we were amazingly thrilled with. It was a REAL COFFEE with flavour, depth, texture and truly made with love
