New ownership. Incredibly friendly, clean and I nice atmosphere. I've been back since and will be again. Great family pub with good food too.

A group of us from Rochester took a trip on a narrow boat, through the tunnels along the canal with a most informative speaker onboard. We followed this with a look around the very well stocked London Canal Museum, prior to going along the Regents Canal and finding a restaurant to enjoy a much anticipated lunch. The food was very welcome indeed but a little cool as we were by the open windows. However, Alex, the Manager, made us very welcome and accommodated our group in order that we could all sit together. Full marks to The Lighterman restaurant for making us so welcome.

20 London RoadSupport black business, they always say. But our black business owners don’t give you reasons for you to support their businesses. It doesn’t take a lot to be nice to your customers, it feels nice to be nice especially when someone pay you to your establishment. Even though we over charge for something, the service doesn’t match the price. Y’all need to do better.
