All round very pleasantly surprised by a pub I don't frequent but I will now

Boring no live music like is on reviews and cold inside I’m talking about in December.Went to another pub.

Refurbished into one large room. Good sports screening. Pleasant staff. Good beer. Working class but no danger.

Friendly staff met new friends ,enjoyed karaoke as was the part of it, meeting new people it has been the happiest of me ...

Not been in for a long time very nicely surprised.nive clean friendly staff and a cracking pint of kronenbourg.will definitely come back !

Nice pub on the doorstep but they just need some IPAs in the fridge and real ale on pump and I'd come more often

Last time I was in leodis 25 years ago and was in with friends very comfortable and so cosy us landlord was so friendly regarding I've a disability I'm totally deaf but the landlord was so friendly and understanding positive will return again

Dog eared, but a typical English estate pub. Friendly landlord makes you feel welcome. Outside seating area.

Astonishing lack of drinkable beer. No real ale. No bottled beers. Just toytown cider and uninspiring usual suspects lager in bottles.

Nice bar, but no bitter real ales on pump.

Brilliant local, only really a locals pub which is popular, I enjoy the regular beers and guest real ales, this is a big pub but it suits my needs

Attended a function. Bar ran out of the drink I was having so had to switch to a more expensive one

Used to be a pub, just an impersonal hollow place that's lost its way.

Fantastic night out, a real blast from the past, great pub, lovely friendly landlady, landlord was doing a great job with the dj-ing and playing our favourite golden oldies, we didn't feel out of place because there was a mixed age group, friendly chatty staff, clean and bright surroundings, fairly priced drinks. Is a must for another visit. We did learn there is a group on once a month and themed nights are planned. Didn't have a meal but will do in the future. Nice to feel included. Hats off to Landlord/Landlady and staff.

Went in with mates for a chat but as soon as disco came on couldn't hear a thing. Everyone in the pub tried to get as far away from it as possible. Bizarre scene as DJ belted out tunes at one end of pub to himself whilst customers all huddled at far end of the pub to hear themselves talk. Volume maybe ok for later on in the evening but this was about 8pm. Management should be more sensitive to customers needs and tell DJ to wind it down a bit early doors. Also eaten there a while ago but no way good enough to warrant a second visit, for food anyway.

Now under new management Christine and Terry for De Holdings. Disco with Chris Convey Friday nights live music starting soon on Saturday nights quizz on Wednesday with play your cards right .Hoping to start doing traditional Sunday lunches when kitchen is ready .Function bookings taken for any occasions every one welcome .

Horrific service. Have been here for food a few times and while the quality of food is lovely the service experience is horrendous out of 6 people I was left waiting an hour and only ordered 2 side dishes. They didn't have half of the food on the menu either and the menu is small enough to start with as it is! Overpriced, wait forever and rubbish menu.

Nice big pub, tastefully decorated, but food is not good. Expensive and not worth the money. A lot of things on menu not available. After most meals in our group were served they came and said my wifes mushroom stroganoff would be served with chips as they had no rice, and it just doesn't go, don't think a proper chef would serve it like that, and the stroganoff itself had no taste to it. Some of us got burgers which were OK, very plain, no sauce, nothing special, but chunky chips were underdone, bit raw in the middle. Not children friendly either really.

Absolutely wouldn't go anywhere near it food terrible and staff rude

Called in on my back to Manchester great pub, good crowd, would definitely call in again, landlord made me feel at ease straight away
