A brilliant pub with a brilliant atmosphere. It's just a pity the food isn't up to the same standard along with the cleaniness of the tables where customers were eating from,a wee clean down of the tables before customers were served their meals wouldn't go a miss! The Fish & Fries?why not chips???the fish itself was cheap & nasty,like mush!nothing like what we had seen by customers photos or as described on the menu. Also,I hope the management has a wee word in the ear of the over zealous,pain in the arse African doorman who was close to getting told where to go just not by myself and my party but two other couples in the bar.

Service was great. Lovely cup of tea. I had bacon and egg bap. I asked for burnt bacon and burst egg. Which I got. It was amazing. Hubby got a hearty breakfast. Soft eggs just the way he likes them. No complaints. Would reccomend. Now with unlimited tea. What more could you ask for. Still the best place in glasgow city centre for breakfast 👌

Excellent place to drink a pint. The atmosphere is the best you can have. We always go there and miss so much this place when we leave Scotland

Extremely slow service waited over an hour for fish and chips and only finally got served after asking . Won’t be coming back. Food wasn’t very good either

Popped in for some lunch with my friend. The food was tasty and warm, and the guy serving (shorts, tattooed legs) was friendly and chatty. Will be back!

Only had drinks. My partner was happy with their beer selection, but their cider selection is abysmal. They only have Strongbow on tap and a limited bottle selection. When asked about the bottles, the bartender's responses were apathetic and uninformative. Two sips of my cider confirmed it was too sweet for my tastes. I returned the full glass to the bar and said as much to the bartender. She said, 'okay' and turned and went back to what she was doing. Didn't even bother to ask if I'd like to order something else. It was a disappointing experience and I do not plan on returning.

The service was very poor. My friend asked for extra coleslaw, which she never got & when she ordered chips, after nearly half an hour wait, I asked one of the bar staff who had to go up to the kitchen & get it himself. Very disappointing.

Went In to lauders for a pre-show drink and food. The steak was stunning. Better than miller and carter. Service and atmosphere truly excellent. I'll definitely be back soon

First time visiting, I will definitely return. We were served by Kirsty, a lovely, bubbly girl who made our night fab.

I apologise for my last review as it wasn't meant for lauders, we had a great afternoon in the bar and the drinks and atmosphere was fantastic. Once again sorry for my comments .

Ok food, not alot off chose for the vegetarian.

As we came out of Buchanan Street underground the heavens opened so we ducked and dived and ended up in Lauders for a cheeky one. We didn't have food, so we can not comment on that. The young lady behind the bar was so funny with great banter. Service with a smile as we joked about our cash only Chinese takeaway in Middlesbrough. Loved the tunes playing and décor. Our first taste of Glasgow centre hospitality. We will return.

Ezcellent food and a few drambuis

Very disappointing visit today popped i on my lunch hour with a colleague..no bread, sandwiches, ciabatta or pizzas available... so we ordered 2 caesar salads which shd have come with bacon & fries according to the menu, the order was placed at 1.15...we asked twice how much longer it would be eventually it turned up at 1.45 minus the bacon & fries but with red onion ..we tried to ask someone about this but she didn't seem to hear us!! We couldn't have waited any longer anyway as we would have been late back to work so gave up had to get a sandwich when we got back to work after paying £34.00 for a lunch which when it eventually arrived was not worth the wait or the money...also nowhere on their website to log a complaint!! we will not be rushing back any time soon 🤬

Great pub in the heart of the city, staff very friendly and great selection of beers. Was only popping in for 1 maybe 2 at about 7pm on Saturday night and ended up ordering dinner also and the food I cannot fault. I ended up the last person in the bar with the Mrs quite drunk so obviously had a great time .

The staff are all excellent Especially Pauline. Food is very good. It is good that we can book a table.

Exceptional service, great food. All staff are fantastic, friendly and professional , special mention for Demi, wonderful service . We got small plates and they were all gorgeous. Highly recommend this venue. Manager Gregg? So welcoming, we are looking forward to returning.

We could not find our reserved table on arrival. We had difficulty in getting a member of staff to show us what table we were going to. The table was filthy but after assurance from a waitress that the table would be sanitised no one appeared to do so. My partner gave me some antibacterial wipes and I cleaned the table we were seated at. The pint of perroni that I fetched from the bar was flat, my partner returned it to the bar to be exchanged for a fresh one. We waited 65 minutes for our food order to arrive.

The bartender was rude since my 14 year old son was sitting at the bar while my other half went to the toilet and got told they couldn't sell us anymore alcohol

We visited to watch the football. We reserved a table and the table we were given was fantastic. The breakfast was very good and we then had a few drinks during the game. We also had lunch in the pub. Everything was fantastic and it was a pleasure to spend our day in this pub.

Came here for a cheeky 😜 wer meal before going to the theatre. Food was great, bar staff friendly and chatty. Toilets 🚻 clean and fresh and look 👌 what amazing pics I took on way back from toilets. Yes, I know they are back to front . That's what happens when your the only chick in the party 🥳. Great wee pre night drink and food .

My sister and I were in having a pub lunch on a Sunday afternoon

Great wee pub for drinks before a gig at the Royal Concert Hall, but the steaks were to be avoided. Tough as old boots, almost all grissle/fat and sent back twice as very undercooked for medium/rare. To be fair, there wasn't enough meat to cook them.properly anyway.

Fantastic visit this afternoon, Christine looked aftervus and the service was wonderful

we come here everytime we go to Glasgow, this is an amazing wee find, we have never been disappointed, food and value are second to none. Staff so friendly and helpful.

Not normally one to leave reviews but I’ve been twice and was shocked by the poor staff experience. I went once in the afternoon because I was lost and my phone was dead, I was panicking and trying to meet someone. I asked to borrow their phone to make call, and the women at the bar treated me as if I was trying to steal their actual personal mobiles. Genuinely so weird. Just did not seem to understand the idea of a young woman being lost and needing help/using a landline. The second time I went in and the blonde woman serving at the bar was absolutely horrible. Was rude when asking for ID and when we asked for drinks, she made a point of cutting us off to say she didn’t have one of them so we said it was all good and we’d go somewhere else. She made one of the soft drinks after we told her we were leaving and tried to get us to pay for it. Told us not to come back. No problem there lol.

First time in here since the renovation took place. I must confess the meals were lovely and fresh as fresh could be. Amazing customer service from Lynn made our visit today top-notch. I am extremely happy with my visit today, and I will Defford be back in the future.

Sports/grill bar with a pub atmosphere. Well attended, central location. That's fun...

Had a lovely gammon steak chips and peas. Perfectly cooked. Glass of wine included. Brilliant price.. Waitress was very really lovely. Highly recommend a visit. 👌

On a weekend break and this place had been recommended by taxi driver from airport.. Went in for brunch with my family. Woman behind bar very rude challenged my 16 year old son for ID. I stated he had none as he's 16 but we were in for food. She stated he can only stay here if every single one of your party orders a full meal and you've 4 minutes to order...walked out...shocking experience.

Made a very cold day in Glasgow a pleasure,good food ,Atmosphere and great service will definitely be a point of call again .

This is one of my go to pubs to watch sports. Latest visit had a great atmosphere for the rugby. The burgers and sides are always spot on and the staff are always pleasant even when the pub is busy.

Im glad we thought ahead and booked a table for dinners and drinks. Hadnt been in the pub in years and still as busy as ever. It was a saturday with football and rugby on to be expected. I felt more staff was maybe required at the bar with it being so busy for a saturday afternoon baring in mind a show was on in the theatre next door in the afternoon as well as night so lots of people were in for drinks and food.
