Long story not so short lol, After booking the slide in March through the park app turned out silde was closed (no fault of orbit slide own) purely tickets companies taken orders. I arrived with my 2 children, my mum & aunt as it was booked as a late bday for my youngest 10th bday. After having their swimming booking cancled (same day) I was gutted when we arrived to find out it wasn't open yet. Amazingly A staff member named hayley went beyond her costumer service and offered us another go on the slide our day of choice, including a free drink, at this point we bump into the manger who offered us a free meal on our return, all very friendly and beyond helpful, I wasn't able to thank hayley today (the actual day we managed to go) but thank you so much and complaments to the chef, great burger and fab pizza 🍕 and the slide was great fun 😀

I visited the Stratford restaurant today with a friend and our children. My daughter has severe allergies so as we parked the buggy I took a sandwich out for her which was prepared at home. Our intention was to order drinks and lunch for the rest of us. Before we even had a chance to go inside the half empty restaurant. The ‘operational manager’ ran out to tell us loudly we couldn’t eat our own food and we had to leave. We tried to explain the reasoning behind it and his response was to roll his eyes and say “allergies? Come on you can go and find a bench and feed them there.” He was so rude and became aggressive telling us to leave right away. I feel anxious eating out with my 2 year old and the way he dealt with this situation was quite frankly disgusting. We were still going to be paying customers. I understand the policy of not bringing your own food but on this occasion he should have been more understanding and made an exception. When my friend went inside to ask if there was a manager we could speak to about the way we had been treated, he came out of the back and started shouting bye bye loudly and waving his arms for us to leave. The customer service we received today was truly shocking and we will definitely never be returning to this restaurant again.

Comfy chairs and really pretty cups and saucers. I enjoyed my coffee and cake. The staff were friendly .

there is no atmosphere no music no fresh food or cakes everything is frozen and pre packed ordered in .the place is a ghost town compared to when the kitchen was open. the staff are nice except for managment who are rude .they sit in the resturant doing busniess meetings .all the pictures are old pictures taken at least 4 years ago as i said theres nothing fresh ly cooked even the cakes are frozen and half the time there dry . dont waste your money the hot drinks are nice if the right people are making it the place has gone down hill they needfresh food and music to give it atmosfre. there is no breakfast or dinner only pre packed sandwiches and frozen pizas and i know because i asked the waiter

Wir liefen ein wenig über das Olympia Gelände und wollten eine kurze Pause machen, also kehrten wir hier ein. Die Atmosphäre ist etwas klinisch. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und bemüht. Die Preise sind allerdings ziemlich hoch. Für eine kurze Pause Ok, für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht mein Fall.

Called into the bar while passing and asked if they were still open. Confirming yes, ordered 2 glasses of Hennessy Brandy. Paid for them then got the drinks in plastic beakers! I refused to drink from these and was told they are soon closing. I then asked to put them in cups at least. They then transferred the brandy to paper coffee cups. I stated that at £17.60, I at least require a drinking vessel other than plastic or paper. This was refused so got a refund.

Spotlessly clean great service very helpful and friendly staff very child nice food highly recommended

Came to visit santa with family of 6. Kids all made decorations, wrote a letter to santa, got picture taken and a bag of sweets! They loved it! Staff were very friendly and great value for money! Had such a good time we stayed for lunch! Thanks for an enjoyable experience xx

200+ runners doing 10k in the Olympic park. Minimal or no breakfast before cos your running. Finish between 10am (fast!) or 11am (well done for finishing!). Need some carbs and protein. Good, very spacious and stylish cafe at finish. What, no breakfasts? No hot food? Cheese toastie advertised, I’ll have one. Sorry we are not doing those. Can I see the manager! Ok, you can have a toastie. 15 min later. Is it done? Sort of. The WORST ever. Pathetic thin sliced white bread, luke warm. Compare this to family-run corner cafe. Excellent choice, excellent service, excellent value. Totally new management and staff urgently needed. This is what happens when a place is run from a distance by people who don’t care. Owners Engie has “Events Team” on its business card, a rather sick joke.

We used to visit here regularly, I would usually have the homemade spicy bean burger, it was good value for money and the burger was always delicious. Over the last couple of years I feel that this restaurant has really declined, I don’t know if there’s been a change of management but now the menu is so basic with just the standard paninis, jackets and cakes available that can be found at any other nearby restaurant. Since the items on the menu no longer appeal to me, I’ve been avoiding this restaurant for the last couple of years, instead I’ve been eating at the restaurants in Westfield where there’s always something new to try. On this particular visit we were using the Orbital which included a Cream Tea at The Last Drop. The cream tea was enjoyable and filling, I was surprised to receive a cake with the scone so by the end I was stuffed. If it wasn’t for the nice cream tea we had on this visit I’d have probably given them a lower score. Hopefully the current management will move on as I feel this place is being let down how it’s being currently run. I won’t be visiting here again unless I hear they’ve brought back some of the items from the old menu

We arrived for the slide but it was temporarily closed due to weather conditions so we got free drinks in the cafe. 2 lovely flat whites and 3 hot chocolates with marshmallows. We were then given an additional hot chocolate and a plate of lemon drizzle cake, which went down very well! The staff were lovely and generous. Totally recommend.

Great cafe next to the ArcelorMittal Orbit at the Olympic Park, food is made to order or if you’re in a hurry there are some ready made sandwiches. The freshly made club sandwich was delicious as was the carrot cake we shared afterwards. There’s a room designated as a play area for children too.

Wonderful service, not too pricey, thoroughly enjoyed it. They even gave my wife a slice of cake as it was her birthday, a wonderful gesture. Play area for kids, a wonderful bar/Cafe, would most certainly make a return visit

If the establishment including staff and manager fail to understand what afternoon tea is then the picture is their representation of the same, this is quite simply the worse sandwich I have ever been served let alone it being being considered as afternoon tea. For good understanding the bread was unbuttered, stale, had more curl than a beckham free kick, and the selection included the well afternoon tea selection of cheese, cheese and tuna, and cheese and branston. Astonished! And even more so that on complaining they are trying to defend this as acceptable, that more than anything else shows their complete and utter incompetence in any appreciation of customer or standard of service.

It used to be much better. Very limited selction. Bacon brioche roll didn't have butter in it and bacon was dry. Pancakes ok but order was wrong. Some sort of religious programme on the tv screens ......went there for a breakfast and coffee, not to be preached at. Asked for it to be changed - it didn't happen. Would have visited local church if i wanted god & tambourines.

Visited here prior to watching The Stones at the Olympic Stadium. The roof terrace was great on a lovely sunny evening where we enjoyed a few beers until the crowds into the stadium went down. Shame the beers were so expensive.
